Truly an awful story that is deeply saddening. I heard about it on Democracy Now.

It isn't the kind of story about race that the main stream media will cover. Kalief Browder was so clearly a victim of the system and did nothing wrong.

The mainstream media likes stories about race that have ambiguity, that can be presented one way to liberals and minorities who are conscious or racial injustice, and another way that can be presented to more conservative law and order seeking citizens, concerned that there is too much crime in minority neighborhoods. The story is presented one way to FOX news and another to MSNBC to drive a wedge between people. This is how they create the psy-ops to divide and distract.
