As the tamed horse
still hears the call of her wild brothers
and as the farmed goose flaps hopeful wings
as his sisters fly overhead,
so too, perhaps,
the wild ones amongst us
are our only hope in calling us back
to our true nature.
Wild ones
who have not been turned to stone
by the far-reaching grasp of the empire
and its program of consumer sedation,
the killing of imagination.
Where, my friends,
have the wild ones gone?

The shroud of thinly veiled righteousness that cloaks the horror of war has begun to dissipate, and the revulsion and grotesqueness of war are seeping through the human carcass and it has begun saturating the soul of man. The reality of war has climbed aboard the train of human consciousness, and it is fast approaching the station of primordial repugnance. The spark of evolutionary change has been ignited in mankind, and those who fail to understand will lose their eternal inheritance.

Fake quote. Churchill had a deep knowledge about the history of Western Civilization and would have known about:
The crusades - several attempts by Christian countries in the 11th to 13th centuries to take over Jerusalem and the surrounding area and to suppress the Islamic control in the area.
The history of Spain from the 700s to 1492 - the control of the Iberian peninsula constantly shifted between Islam and Christianity. The areas controlled by Christians always demanded their subjects practice Christianity. The areas controlled by Islamic leaders often (but not always) were extremely tolerant of religious diversity. The city of Toledo, under Islamic control for several centuries, was were Islamic, Hebrew and Latin scholars worked to translate many of the great texts of mathematics, history, philosophy and other subjects. This all came to an end when Ferdinand and Isabella took complete control of Spain and expelled Christian and Jews.
Palestine before Zionist terrorist groups (Lehi, Irgun) started forming in the 1930s. - Palestine had a Moslem majority and thriving Christian, Jewish, Bahai and Druze minorities living there - all of them spoke Arabic. Then Ashkenazy Zionist Jews showed up and started bombing hotels, trains and other installations that had British diplomats in them - some of these people would have been acquaintances of Churchill.
If Churchill had lived longer he would have seen how Christianists in Washington D.C., members of the Project for a New American Century, planned to ruthlessly overthrow seven governments in Moslem majority countries (and actually did in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.) And he would have seen how "Jewish" (supposedly) Israel and the "Christian" (supposedly) U.S.A. worked to create "Greater Israel" on lands owned by Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Iraq and other by continuously bombing Muslim majority nations.
Not only is the above quote fake, it shows incredible ignorance of history.
The Churchill Quotation That Wasn’t

By Angelo Fichera
Posted on June 20, 2019
A remark about Muslims attributed to Winston Churchill continues to circulate on social media, even though there’s no evidence he ever said it.
“When Muslims are in the minority they are very concerned with minority rights, when they are in the majority there are no minority rights,” the supposed quotation reads.
Posted in a meme that includes a photo of Muslim activist Linda Sarsour, the quotation has been repeatedly reposted despite a dearth of evidence that the late British prime minister ever said anything of the sort. Churchill died in 1965.
Churchill experts also cast doubt on the veracity of the attribution.
“This ‘quote’ is widely found online but there is no documented evidence that Churchill ever said it,” Lee Pollock, trustee and adviser to the board of the International Churchill Society, told us in an email. “It does not appear in any of his many books, articles or speeches nor is there any attribution from a witness that he/she heard him say that.”
Likewise, a senior fellow at Hillsdale College’s Churchill Project, Richard M. Langworth, includes the quotation in a post titled “All the ‘Quotes’ Winston Churchill Never Said.”

Good onya Kryztian, you're on a roll today. I could honestly care less about Churchill, but the overall premise of the quote was spot on. I had my reservations about that one too, but sometimes ya let the ball drop. I'll admit I wasn't a history major, preferred classical literature and philosophy. History always read like bankers, lawyers and accountants drumming up endless reasons for war to keep the profits rolling in, a bad script replayed again and again. Guess I'm doomed to repeat it right? And to be blunt, our history, as it's currently written, is a complete sham, a whitewash written by the victors of war for their own purposes. Funny how the good guys always win. If we play our cards right, Israel will soon be the arbiters of truth and the beacon of morality.

Again I have to call bs on the use of fact-checking sites. Factcheck.org is a left leaning organization with some questionable bias and funding and it stands to reason if they supported and censored "Covid misinformation" that they'd be right in line to debunk anything which speaks badly about their orchestrated illegal immigrant invasion. If they send you to a reliable source with reliable information then use that article, but the use of fact-checking sites to support your argument lost all credibility with the start of covid and "misinformation," as evidenced below:
https://www.allsides.com/news-source/factcheckorg-media-bias
FactCheck.org Moved from Center to Lean Left in AllSides August 2023 Small Group Editorial Review
In August 2023, the AllSides team conducted a Small Group Editorial Review of FactCheck.org in which we moved FactCheck.org’s bias rating from Center to Lean Left.
A small group of AllSides reviewers — one person each with a bias on the left, center, and right — reviewed content from FactCheck.org for media bias. The team noted that FactCheck.org displayed bias in terms of its story choice and the other outlets it commonly referenced, which were mostly on the left. The team also noticed FactCheck.org was more likely to fact check former President Donald Trump and other Republicans than Democratic officials, however, it did periodically fact check President Biden also.
Additionally, as of August 2023, over 16,000 AllSides readers voted on the AllSides Media Bias Rating for FactCheck.org. On average, those who disagreed with the rating of Center thought FactCheck.org showed a bias of Lean Left. The AllSides team did not review this data before conducting its Small Group Editorial Review, but readers’ sentiments appear to confirm the team’s findings.
FactCheck.org Shows Story Choice Bias
At the time of review, topics frequently covered by FactCheck.org included Donald Trump, the August 2023 GOP Debate, claims made by conservatives, COVID-19, vaccines, and climate change.
The panel noted FactCheck.org frequently analyzed claims made about vaccines or pharmaceutical companies, and it often showed favor of perspectives held by elites.
Articles reviewed included:
RFK Jr.’s COVID-19 Deceptions
Republicans Oversell Archer’s Testimony About Hunter and Joe Biden
Biden Cherry-Picks Unemployment Record
Viral Video Repeats Bogus Claim About Vaccines and Visible Ailments
High Winds, Drought Conditions Led to Maui Fires, No Evidence Intentionally Set

FactCheck.org Ownership and Funding
Funding and ownership do not influence bias ratings. We rate the bias of content only.
Owner: Annenberg Public Policy Center
FactCheck.org is owned and operated by the Annenberg Public Policy Center, which describes itself [retrieved Sept. 2023] as a “premier communication policy center,” and is part of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
According to its “Our Funding” page [retrieved Sept. 2023], FactCheck.org discloses donations it receives that are greater than $1,000. It reported its disclosed funding for the 2023 fiscal year as follows:
Annenberg Foundation: $796,691
Facebook (Third-Party Fact-Checking Program): $339,279
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation: $276,024
Individual donors: $122,183
National Science Foundation: $7,955
Facebook (National Association of Black Journalists fact-checking fellowship program): $4,244
In addition to its disclosed funding, FactCheck.org states the following:
“We do not seek and have never accepted, directly or indirectly, any funds from unions, partisan organizations or advocacy groups. We do not accept funds from corporations with the exception of Facebook, which provides funding as part of Facebook’s initiative to debunk viral deceptions, and Google, which provided a one-time grant to support our COVID-19 coverage in 2020. Neither corporation seeks nor is given any control over our editorial decisions.
Our policy is to disclose the identity of any donor who contributes $1,000 or more. We also disclose the total amount, average amount and number of individual donations.
Donors have no control over our editorial decisions.”
The one-time grant FactCheck.org received from Google was part of a Google News initiative that aimed “to produce fact checks about COVID-19 immunization misinformation and short bilingual video explainers.” It received this funding alongside television giant Univision’s Noticias Univision program.
A March 2021 press release regarding the grant said the following:
“We worked with Univision’s talented staff during the last two months of the 2020 election and we are excited to continue working with them on COVID-19 misinformation,” said Eugene Kiely, director of FactCheck.org. “Univision is the primary news source for Hispanics in the U.S. This gives us an opportunity to reach a larger and more diverse audience.”
“The pandemic and misinformation have disproportionately affected the Hispanic community,” said Jose Zamora, senior vice president of strategic communications at Univision News. “This exceptional partnership between Univision Noticias and FactCheck.org, with the support of the Google News Initiative, allows us to work with one of the most respected fact-checking platforms in the U.S. to continue and amplify our fight against misinformation and ensure that Latinos have access to accurate information. Univision Noticias is committed to serving its community through journalism and fact-checking; this partnership allows us to fulfill both purposes and our mission.”

It's really sad that you don't care about Churchill. He was, in many ways, a great man, although he had his faults. But you are using his name to bring weight to something he never said, never would have said. You are slandering him, and you are slandering the historical truth of what he did and didn't say. But you really don't care about the truth, do you? You are much more interested in slandering Churchill to support your agenda of hatred so that you can slander a group of people and cause hatred of them. History is filled with people like you and history shows when there are societies and nations are dominated by too many people who are motivated by hatred and stupidity, bad things happen. I won't bother you with the details because you simply wouldn't be interested.
It is really, really, really easy to authenticate a quote these days on the Internet. Especially if it is by someone as quote as Churchill. Especially if the quote is a controversial. In about two minutes time on an internet to find the source of the quote, what book it is in, where he uttered the words, etc. It's really easy, even to someone with an IQ of 70. If Churchill actually said this, we would have known this decades before you posted this, we would know that date and hour and exact place he uttered these words.

Oh, good lord! A number of us have contributed to threads about Wikipedia, Snopes, The New York Times, etc. and how they go wrong. But we also agree, these place can often be reliable sources and the most convenient ones, if you know how to use them.
I rest my case. Some people just aren't interested in the truth when they have a deep seated need to spew venom on the rest of humanity. Many of us have worked on uncovering the truth about Corey Goode and David Wilcock and others, and have overwhelming proved they are frauds many times over. But Goode and Wilcock STILL have dedicated followers. Some people are completely immune to fact, reason, irrational discussion. Some people are totally dedicate to ugliness, hatred and the necessary lies to justify them.

“Socrates said, “The misuse of language induces evil in the soul.” He wasn’t talking about grammar. To misuse language is to use it the way politicians and advertisers do, for profit, without taking responsibility for what the words mean. Language used as a means to get power or make money goes wrong: it lies. Language used as an end in itself, to sing a poem or tell a story, goes right, goes towards the truth. A writer is a person who cares what words mean, what they say, how they say it. Writers know words are their way towards truth and freedom, and so they use them with care, with thought, with fear, with delight. By using words well they strengthen their souls. Story-tellers and poets spend their lives learning that skill and art of using words well. And their words make the souls of their readers stronger, brighter, deeper.”

"Now in the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas, part of the great midcentury discovery of ancient texts, Jesus says, "The Kingdom will not come by expectation. The Kindgom of the Father is spread upon the earth, and men do not see it." Not seeing it, we live in the world as though it were not the Kingdom. Seeing the Kingdom - that is the End of the World. The connotation is transcendent of the denotation. You are not to interpret the phrase, "the End of the World" concretely. Jesus used the same kind of vocabulary that Eastern gurus use. In their full-fledged teaching mode they speak as though they were themselves what they are speaking about; that is to say, they have in their minds identified themselves with a mode of consciousness that then speaks through them."

There is a point of diseased mellowness and effeminacy in the history of society, at which society itself takes the part of him who injures it, the part of the criminal, and does so, in fact, seriously and honestly. To punish, appear's to it to be somehow unfair—it is certain that the idea of "punishment" and "the obligation to punish" are then painful and alarming to people. "Is it not sufficient if the criminal be rendered harmless? Why should we still punish? Punishment itself is terrible!"—with these questions gre-garious morality, the morality of fear, draws its ultimate conclusion. If one could at all do away with danger, the cause of fear, one would have done away with this morality at the same time, it would no longer be necessary, it would not consider itself any longer necessary! —Whoever examines the conscience of the present-day European, will always elicit the same imperative from its thousand moral folds and hidden recesses, the imperative of the timidity of the herd: "we wish that some time or other there may be nothing moreto fear!"

“There is a growing volume of evidence that the highest centres of political and economic power have been forcing the entire human race toward a global, socialist, dictatorial–oriented society. And what has been most baffling about it has been the fact that this drift toward dictatorship with its inevitable obliteration of a thousand years of struggle toward human freedom, is being plotted, promoted and implemented by the leaders of free nations and the super-rich of those nations whose positions of affluence would seem to make them the foremost beneficiaries of the free-enterprise, property-oriented, open society in which so much progress has been made. Certainly they, above all men, should know that in order for this system to survive, freedom of action and the integrity of property rights must be preserved. Then why are the super-capitalists trying to destroy them?” “In nutshell, Dr. Quigley has undertaken to expose what every insider like himself has known all along – that the world hierarchy of the dynastic super-rich is out to take over the entire planet, doing it with Socialistic legislation where possible, but having no reluctance to use Communist revolution where necessary.“ - W. Cleon Skousen, The Naked Capitalist, P.24-25 (1993)

“The truth is, one who seeks to achieve freedom by petitioning those in power to give it to him has already failed, regardless of the response. To beg for the blessing of “authority” is to accept that the choice is the master’s alone to make, which means that the person is already, by definition, a slave.” ― Larken Rose
“A man is none the less a slave because he is allowed to choose a new master once in a term of years. Neither are a people any the less slaves because permitted periodically to choose new masters. What makes them slaves is the fact that they now are, and are always hereafter to be, in the hands of men whose power over them is, and always is to be, absolute and irresponsible.”

It's significant that "tolerance" is most loudly preached by those with little to tolerate. All too often "tolerance" spouted by those charged with the duty of government is just a cover-up for shirking of responsibilities. Tolerance all too often means that an entrenched group can not only obstruct government, but inflict great hardship on the rest of the community and even harm national security. The need today is for less tolerance, not more.

Damn, I'm replying to a post in the "Quotes" thread.
Tolerance and intolerance are quite a lot like the relationship between freedom and responsibility.
It's good to be less tolerant but only if the intolerance is rooted in fully individuated faith. Any other kind is bound to be problematic, potentially, even, globally tyrannical.

Life wisdom
To laugh is to risk appearing the fool
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental
To reach out for another is to risk involvement
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self
To place your ideas, your dreams before the crowd is to risk their loss
To love is to risk not being loved in return
To live is to risk dying
To hope is to risk despair
To try is to risk failure
But risks must be taken - because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing.
The person who risks nothing may avoid suffering and sorrow, but he cannot learn, feel, change,
grow, love, live...Only a person who risks is free.

The Hopi are one of the more thoughtful American Indian tribes. They are mostly about peace, and their leadership system is organized around elders and spirituality. They believe that their cultural heritage is the bedrock of their lives. When the Blue Star Kachina is seen in the sky, it will be a period of renewal and spiritual awakening. The word renewal, as it relates to humanity, seems to be popping up everywhere.
