Nice.

And, uh, same reason you are?

Also, the answers I gave above are the reason I go anywhere, of course. I don't know for sure that this place is different than everywhere, really.

Hi Crypto,

Your response is intriguing. I'd like to comment on them if you dont mind. I offer my opinion only - and I am leveraging your opinion - and I thank you in advance for that opportunity.

to learn - There is so much to learn and so little time. I learn only what my inner spirit teaches me.

If you are directed by your inner spirit - it directed you here - you are here, it is sure you may find something to learn by this trick of circumstance!

to teach - I am no saint or guru or an expert in a particular field to teach anyone anything.

Every word you utter or write, is an opportunity for someone to learn, and therefore you teach. There is no ego in that.

to inspire - There is nothing that can inspire others. As they already have everything within them.

I wonder if you subscribe, as I do, to the notion that all is one, one is all, we are one. What you offer me, is inside me.

to debate - Debating could be counter productive lead to ego and negativity.

Not my first motivator either, but here I am debating. Debate is an energy exchange is it not? We can do this without attachment to the outcome, so we can avoid ego issues and similarly, with care and respect we will avoid negativity.

to heal - I do not possess any skills to heal anyone. The greatest healer resides within you.

I concur. Any healing I am involved with is a contribution of the open heart and not an act of will. "I" do not heal. True healing happens at the behest of the healed alone.

to belong - I belong no where. An yet I am everywhere. Any place that is ready to accept my thoughts.

I concur. I really do like the way you think!

to make friends - True friendship is an illusion.

As is all life an illusion. However, we may dance for a while and share our energy and dance in our ballroom made of thought. If we had similar traits would w not be attracted and for a time be "friends" ? This forum and this exchange is a manifestation of just that, and here we are. I doubt you are an enemy, so that makes you a friend - whether you were looking for one or not. I get the point though - you don't come here seeking friends, but it just happens anyway - especially as you have probably dived into a forum full of similar minded people.

to love - Love can generate hate so I keep away from both.

Love is pretty much everything, I don't really think you can't get away from it :)

for amusement - Amusement is good for those with emotions. When one lives a neu life, one gives away everything.

Yes!

just killing time - Time is the most valuable currency. Every second of it. So I make the best of this. Not kill it.

I'm with you here as well, why waste anything?

I am here to share . To share the knowledge I have with others.

That, is basically either teaching and inspiring or both! I think you could probably tick the "to teach" box ;)

I came to this post just after I just read this your post -> here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?83095-Are-you-ready-to-awaken-your-Neu-)<-. Anyway that post and then your answers here made me think, so thanks for that.

Namaste.

If I start on a subject then that seems to escalate, when I first came here, it was to find answers that I asked myself... "Who are the rulers of the world?"

Then like magic, Bill very soon after announced a character that claimed to have the answers to this question, that fiasco brought many interesting members here and it was so full on that I'd spend hours and hours watching the threads, things escalated and other forums were bashing this forum and so-on, it was an interesting time and I certainly did learn a lot. A bit chaotic for some but it was an episode I'll never forget.

I learned more from this character after he left Avalon and still to this day he surprises me.

Then I started searching the very old threads and found amazing stuff, as it was the old school members sorting out stuff that people are still confused about today but back then they had amazing minds and it just feels more deep and easy to understand. The threads are still there to study from, this place is like a library of information.

Then I had my own episode whereas I was in the thick of the Japanese earthquake and found great people from that. Also found fear mongering, terrified, drama queens.

Since then I have calmed down as it really does get ugly the more you learn but what an amazing education and insight into everything that we are. I needed this in my life and hence why I have never announced I am leaving, if I need to have a break then I simply do so. 3 months down the line I'll be ready for some more studying.

Plus I know there are very helpful people here that help me all the time that have priceless information on subjects that matter. I would be devastated if these members left.

Most of them don't realize they help me, they just do.

That's why I'm here.

I am here because , the world we are shown is broken , humanity is lied to , that little voice in my head tells me , there is so much more and it's up to me to learn what ever I can and try to do better , make the world better , and even if I never solve the riddles of life , I will spend my time searching for truth where ever it may lead me ...

For me, in order to learn there often must be debate. In order to make a decision on whether something is worth learning I must know what the various stances are. Not everything is debatable of course but many of the subjects on Avalon are. Much of what we talk about is opinion, speculation and/or derived from "connecting the dots". Even when scientific proof is provided the science can be scrutinized and should. One should never blindly take for fact anything until the information has been verified or analyzed. Way too often people just believe what they want to believe and will argue with anyone that questions their beliefs regardless of the facts.

I guess it is just in my nature to question. As long as you debate the facts and try to leave the ego at the door, debating is quite natural and valuable to growth and learning.

very well said , debate could and should lead to healthy thinking outside the box, causing us to explore things from a different angle ... and yes our egos are one of the biggest hurdles to get over/conquer ...

Debate: Verbal intercourse

If someone wants to debate does that mean they're horny?

If you do not want to debate this question then we all know where you stand. ;)

In my experience, egos are necessary for a really good 'debate'. :)

Debating actually has a bunch of (logical) rules to keep things sane:

Are those 'rules' debatable?

(I just realized the 'debate' venture went off topic. <zips it>)

All rules should be debatable in my opinion. But, yes, you are right, maybe we are wandering off a bit too far here...

I blend in very well with the what I call earth bound souls on this planet but I feel like I live a double

Life. I've met some awakened souls outside avalon but they are rare. I can freely talk about many

Different spiritual topics on here that many simply wouldn't understand or even believe in the out

Side world. For me, this is a place of expressing my true inner self without the fear of being

ridiculed.

here solely to share information. it is possible to find those who are ready to collaborate on projects that will undo much of the damage that has been done on this planet, but successfully sharing the information is probably prerequisite to that being possible.

it will be slow going as the information is arriving gradually and there are many bits and pieces to piece together to form larger discussions

Alright... I'm here because I want a place to be able to share with, connect, and learn with others... and a place where its ok to talk about 'out of the box' topics... So please understand why I didnt use the poll 'check-boxes'... the boxes seem too rigid to me, and seem like a labeling system that restrict my natural 'out-of-the-box' thinking. :) Other than that, I think this is an excellent topic for conversation here... thanks for this opportunity to share.

ps... Also, this is probably one of the most active 'think-tanks' on the planet. If one is a deep-thinker type... Avalon is an ideal 'playground' in many ways... and the potentials of a community like this seem unlimited.

You know, I hadn't said this earlier. Before I came here I saw a video with one of the Rothschild's, a woman who was interviewed by Kerry, somewhere out there on the interwebs. That's what led me here. As our Home World is in big trouble, with the biosphere in almost complete collapse and a completely altered atmosphere, I thought maybe someone here would be in a position to do something about it, or help me do something about it. At the very least, there will be no more riding of horses by anyone when there are no more horses left, and at the most, there would be all of the insects birds and fish that remained as of that date, and the loss of species could be halted. In any event, I'd say that coming here was with noble intent.

Of course I got booted out almost immediately. Told to take a vacation. And, this happened a few times in a row.

Then it became personal hahahahaha.

Today, I don't know why I'm still here. Whatever the mindset was that caused such a ruffling of feathers when I first got here has changed. Dramatically, almost. That can not be anything but a good thing, I guess, for the more broad and expanded your horizon to see all things, the better you will be as a scribe to anyone else when you describe anything for them, right?

What I do here these days is what I've always done. I'm a social person, and I live in a small town in Ontario Canada. Interacting with others is necessary. And fun.

I also have no connections what so ever to any institutions, agencies, departments or corporations, in any way shape or form. I'm just a boy in the world.

Thanks for continuing to have me : )
