Well first I don't believe in a devil. I firmly think there are no real demi-gods to the universe. It is too big for that in my view...

Here are some things I would do if I was the Devil, or more aptly termed, an evil extraterrestrial race:

I would not show myself publicly. I would operate covertly behind the scenes.

Moral Relativism(A key part of satanism) - Convincing people good and bad are actually grey areas.

False Religion - Belief Systems Divide People

Disinformation to a High Degree - Belief System Divide People

I would be making everyone think everything is already changing, or will change very soon, always. That way people make no effort for change if they think its all going to magically shift to '5D' overnight or whatever else. So basically what the channelers are pushing, densities and ascension.

I would convince them someone else is saving them. So they make no effort in saving themselves.

I would convince them that torturing and killing their prophets is Gods will.

I would convince them I am God, and fill their heads with a bunch of lies(religion category i guess)

I would poison their food, air, and water.

I would taint/morph their genetics to suit my own tastes.

I would impersonate light sources(false light).

I would try to control all opposition.

As you can see, these are all pretty much happening. So I think it is safe to say we have evil groups operating on planet Earth, who have been in power for millennia...

To think like the devil requires very good knowledge of this character. So, what do we know?

I would do my best to become the head of the church and keep people afraid, obidient, and paying for their sins...
I would make sure that the church is more important than kings, no even better, I would convince people that I had the Authority from God himself that I am allowed to 'Crown Kings" So they are ruled by the grace of God. I would kill those who wont accept/believe my proclamations as soon as I had enough followers to enforce my teachings onto those who are not enlightend yet. And when the time comes when the general population is starting to doubt by lack of miracles, I will slowly move to economic control and create money out of their 'debt' so they will still be under my control for what is power without control over those who give you their power, their live energy and their workforce.
But I would always make them believe they are free, that working all your live and end up with nothing to show for while you watch others who dont really work, enjoy what comferts are within reach if you just have more money, is just the way things work.

But then again I am not the Devil...

Convince people I was God. Which, from my own intuitive reading of religious history and from what I understand of Gnosticism, is exactly what he did do.

I would set up an illusory light/dark perceptual model for the minions.

I would then work to put as many traps, hooks, diversions, infections & illusions into the light stereotype.
These include:

- Fighting horrific monsters (Lord of the rings)
-Fear of the dark (religeous guilt & the sea of fire)
-Conditional love of source (destroys real love)
-Blood Ritual (Eucharist)
-Light Hierarchy, and being better than others (Ego)
-Chosen people, God's People(Hatred, racism, genocide)
-Good genes, supermen, races (Nazism)
-Some people are BAD ( we can kill them)
-Some cultures are BAD(we can kill them)
- The outcome of our Spiritual journey is in doubt (fear)
-Division based on Gender or whatever (injustice, alienation from this reality)
-All kinds of rules & philosophies that we know at a deeper level are complete BS, they act as poison for the soul-or sever connection to source
-We are not eternal beings
- Light entities (feeding off us)
-Free will is weak or non existent, so we are vulnerable to dark forces (fear)

Really fear is a very creative mechanism.

Convince the world I didn't exist.

Then I'd be free to use the only observable commonality in humans (ie: TRUE "human nature"), the fact that they're easily manipulator, against them in order to exercise my free will as I pleased.

I'd throw in bringing a lot of false light to keep good hearted folks in constant confusion and cognitive dissonance, attacking at the emotional attachments--which is Human Manipulation 101, and convince everyone to "follow their hearts and inner knowingness" and trust everything that "resonates".

But that would be silly...I don't believe in the devil either :o

If I was him, I would either kill of the awakening humans on this planet or make peace with them;-) Remember that he can never go back home again.

I would creat a civilisation where people feared the threat of violence slightly more than the threat of good. I would convince people of the broad importance of the Ten Commandments whilst behind the scenes doing the complete opposite to keep humanity in a state of tension and fear.

The devil has many faces and forms but the Draco and their Cabal servants come closest. Unfortunately the devil has no compassion and knows no different, it is up to humanity to be aware and reject it at every opportunity!

The cardinal characteristic of the traditional 'Lucifer', who is actually the fallen favorite Angel, who became too powerful, vain and aspired to be 'God' is "Resentment", he was banished from heaven by Saint Michael doing God's work as the defender of Heaven - so from this innate 'resentment' a 'Devil' (which is really a composite creation of ancient mythology, and christian distortion) would seek to trip up humanity, hinder its progress, because the 'objective' of humanity is governed by returning to God's favor, remember we have the original sin to atone for, as God's favored creation we are in disgrace and must strive to win his blessings once again. The fact that a God would create a being that is 'in the image' of itself, but deeply flawed, then commanded to be 'God-like' is just an absurdity. How could any 'God' expect anything but disappointment from his creation? So a Lucifer, fallen angel would work towards hindering, tripping up, tempting, creating chaos and disharmony between peoples. Precisely what we do to ourselves with great ingenuity!
