This is such a delightful story: Tama the cat became the honorary stationmaster of a failing Japanese rail line - and 3,000 people came for her funeral. Internment as a Shinto goddess will follow.

As a postman I'm quite fond of cats and there is a slendour black
and white cat that follows me for twenty or so houses on her patch.
There are several cats on my round and they all have different
personalities , but none are dressed up as ticket attendents ..LOL
Its not quite as friendly as this cat......

Wee Atom is now living at his new home, he's getting better on his harness, as no safe fence here.
Funniest stuff is face to face yeowling/cajoling any time from 4.00am, so I get dressed and we traverse the new garden regularly. This is the result of our total trauma last June 2014. We will survive!
