The White House.gov website has corrected an embarrassing mistake made by
Barack Obama during his press briefing yesterday about the Islamic State when
the President said that U.S. forces were “training ISIL.”

‘The White House.gov website has corrected an embarrassing mistake made by
Barack Obama during his press briefing yesterday about the Islamic State when
the President said that U.S. forces were “training ISIL.”

During his speech, Obama uttered the line, “with the additional steps I ordered
last month, we’re speeding up training of ISIL forces.”

The White House.gov transcript left in the original quote, but placed the word
‘Iraqi’ in brackets after the word ISIL, correcting Obama’s mistake.’

‘Only 60 recruits have passed rigorous background checks and are being trained
to fight Islamic State forces in Syria, Defense Secretary Ash Carter told lawmakers.
The US was hoping to have a force of 3,000 recruits by the end of this year.

Testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday, Carter said
that out of the pool of 7,000 volunteers for the train-and-equip program, less than
one percent made it through the vetting process.

“As of July 3, we are currently training about 60 fighters,” Carter said. “I can look
out at your faces and you have the same reaction I do, which is that that’s an
awfully small number.”’

On July 1st, the White House, Joint Chiefs of Staff, issued “The National Military
Strategy of the United States of America 2015” (officially dated June 2015), and at
its top is:

“U.S. ENDURING NATIONAL INTERESTS: The security of the United States, its

citizens, and U.S. allies and partners.”

In other words: protection of Americans is neither more nor less important to the
U.S. Government than is protection of “U.S. allies and partners.” All of them are at
the very top, as “U.S. ENDURING NATIONAL INTERESTS.”

America’s Founders didn’t agree with the Obama Administration’s view on this.
George Washington’s famous Farewell Address asserted that, ”It is our true policy
to steer clear of permanent alliance with any portion of the foreign world”; and the
third President Thomas Jefferson said in his equally famous Inaugural Address, that
there should be “Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations —
entangling alliances with none.” Instead, of that view, Obama now
wants “entangling alliances” with anti-BRICS nations in Europe via his proposed
TTIP treaty, and with anti-BRICS nations in Asia via his proposed TPP treaty, plus
anti-BRICS nations worlwide via his proposed TISA treaty for service-industries. So,
he told graduating cadets at West Point, on 28 May 2014, that they will be fighting
not only against America’s enemies, but also against America’s economic
competitors — that these future U.S. military officers will be serving as muscle
abroad, for U.S.-headquartered international corporations:

“Russia’s [actually non-existent] aggression toward former Soviet states unnerves
capitals in Europe, while China’s economic rise and military reach worries its
neighbors. From Brazil to India, rising middle classes compete with us, and
governments seek a greater say in global forums. … It will be your generation’s
task to respond to this new world.”

That’s what he told West Pointers.

However, the U.S. military has even grander objectives than to serve as policemen
for protecting “the United States, its citizens, and U.S. allies and partners.” In
addition to that, under the core heading of “NATIONAL SECURITY OBJECTIVES,”
the “National Military Strategy of the United States of America 2015” lists six
things, and one of them is “The security of the global economic system.” (That’s
very important to Wall Street, but America’s many invasions for the benefit of Wall
Street haven’t been proud moments in American history — and didn’t do the
American public any good at all.) Another is: “The security, confidence, and
reliability of our allies.” And yet another objective is: “The preservation and
extension of universal values.”

In other words: There will always be one cliché or another, which can be cited so as
to ‘justify’ any invasion by the U.S.

Thanks Flash, I scoured at least 4 of those from various sources hoping one would be an intact original. The issue I have is the expression his face makes when he says "forces". At the end of the word "forces" has checks pull back and he makes the face that I would expect an "EEE" sound from, such as in the word "Iraq-EEE". It's not impossible he made that weird expression on that sound, but, it is enough to make me consider it may be dubbed. This is why I am very interested in finding a more original source. Where is Buares when you need him ;)

I do fully believe the US (or somehow a connection to western governments) is training "ISIL/ISIS" - just in the same way they trained Al Qaeda. But I tend to really like my sources to be 100% verifiable before I use them in my messages. It's my personal due diligence; just me, but I think some others can appreciate that approach as well. :)

Good find Alan! Super thanks! And I could also determine from that, that an audio "out of sync" issue caused the expression on the word "Iraq" (the next word) to be applied when he said "forces" on the short, clipped version.

Once again, thanks for finding that, exactly what I wanted. I will now be able to share this freely, and be 100% confident, when I need to answer to the skeptics.

The guy in the background is more interesting that Barack Obama himself. Every time he makes a lie watch the guys face, that's how you can tell if he's lieing or not so maybe that's why he didn't make a face when Obama slipped, seemed like he to is tired of all the lieng and just wants it all to end to crash and burn.

Late last year, Germany’s broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) investigated what turned out to be hundreds of trucks a day carrying billions of dollars in supplies, flowing across the Turkish border into Syria and directly into the hands of the so-called “Islamic State” (ISIS).

The border crossing near the Turkish city of Oncupinar, approximately 100km west of the Syrian city of Kobani, is apparently only one of many such crossings where ISIS fighters, weapons, and materiel move directly under the watch and apparent assistance of NATO.
