Military and Aerospace reports that they, the Russians now can destroy or disable sophisticated electronic guidance and navigation systems in manned and unmanned aircraft and precision-guided missiles.

The Soviet Union was a leader in EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) weapons for years and years.

Electromagnetic pulse systems are massive generators of electricity, that can transfer that 'electricity' without wires to everything nearby. A nuclear weapon detonation, besides the heat, and radiation and concussion, generates a massive electromagnetic pulse.. Air burst detonations for instance can strategically destroy the electrical infrastructure of a country without having the "shock-wave" hit the earth..

Reviewing the description of the system, it reportedly can harm GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) navigation signals, radio communications equipment, and even disrupt or destroy orbiting satellites' communications systems.

The developer of the weapons system is called Radio-Electronic Technologies Group (KRET) in Moscow.

Possibly this is why DARPA has recently said that a new constellation of hundreds of battle ready satellites which rely on OPTICAL radiation hardened circuitry (possibly immune to EMP microwave energy) is going to be deployed.. Massive satellite fleets, hundreds if not thousands, would be hard to target.. The Russian system is designed to take out "one-at-a-time" incoming.. Saying such is for defensive purposes only..

The Russian news service "TASS" reported similarly. To be able to disable satellite communications (SATCOM) appeared to be where the dialog was focused.. Satellite communications for the most part have relied on electromagnetic microwave receivers and transmitters.. The new radiation hardened OPTICAL communications system would not necessarily be jammed or damaged by the 'new' Russian weapons.

Supposedly, the microwave emp system will actually switch off enemy weapons. "Field tests are scheduled for as early as the end of this year, says Vladimir Mikheyev, adviser to the KRET first deputy CEO."

Here are some examples of what EMP generators look like:

Is Russia the only one developing microwave EMP weapons? No, the US has programs for weapons systems, so does China..

http://www.dcclothesline.com/2014/05/07/wwiii-lost-chinese-occupy-amerika-pt-iii-chinese-emp-weapons/

Dr. Jim Garrow on May 4, 2014, the ex-CIA official was adamant that the Chinese plan to use EMP weapons against the United States in order to bring any organized resistance to a complete standstill.

A widespread EMP attack, precipitated by a pair of high altitude nuclear weapons over the midcontinental United States, would knock all electronics that were not previously and purposefully hardened against such an attack.

The effects of such an attack would greatly reduce the population. Millions would die in the first few minutes. Over the next two years, 90% of the US population would perish largely due to their inability to obtain food and clean drinking water.

No doubt, Russia understands how EMP can be used to destroy infrastructure, while leaving intact buildings.

A high enough EMP will scramble the human nervous system.

The report details how much of China’s military is developing EMP weapons that the Chinese plan to use against targeted U.S. aircraft carriers with regard to any future conflict over Taiwan.

Parts of the National Ground Intelligence Center study on the lethal effects of electromagnetic pulse (EMP) and high-powered microwave (HPM) weapons revealed that the arms are part of what China refers to as the “assassin’s mace”.

This arsenal of EMP weapons allows a technologically inferior China to defeat U.S. military forces while leaving much of the surrounding infrastructure intact.

Its also use to make volcano eruptions, earthquakes, typhoons and more. I believe Nikola Tesla is to be credited for discovery of the fundamentals to which this device operates. One story I read that after he saw what danger this discoveries pose under the wrong hands, he invented another device which according to him will end all wars on earth. He named it "force field" something like a big bowl of force that can cover a country such that no missile can go through. I think I have seen this on star trek:silent:

correction he named it "Tesla Shield'.. in startrek its "Force field"
By the way its not new its been there long for exclusive use

The emp-ish weapons are more than likely - line of sight.

Thus the US looking to use a hypersonic rail gun to deliver 'over the horizon' heavy metal kinetic bolts. Note that it is the US Navy that is looking to deploy them, as shipborne launch devices.

russians already played about with such devices in black sea last year. rather successfully.

Military and Aerospace news was reporting Moscow's KRET group was saying deployment of the "systems" would be shipborne, land based, and submarine. A rapid fire rail gun scenario could be possible if the projectiles are converted into plasma "bolts", i.e. metal heated electromagnetically so fast that the projectile liquifies and a "packet" of high density plasma is emitted. The power source would be formidable would it not? Keeping the apparatus cool from such immense current I would assume would be another issue; the "pulse packet" repetition rate may be slow.

If thousands of targets such as satellites are the goal of such weapons systems, it would seem that overwhelming the targeting system is what strategy would be used. Identifying then what would allow for such targeting would be interesting it seems to me.

from the link:
the Russian Su-24 that buzzed the USS Donald Cook carried neither bombs nor missiles but only a basket mounted under the fuselage, which, according to the Russian newspaper Rossiyskaya Gazeta [2], contained a Russian electronic warfare device called Khibiny.

As the Russian jet approached the US vessel, the electronic device disabled all radars, control circuits, systems, information transmission, etc. on board the US destroyer. In other words, the all-powerful Aegis system, now hooked up - or about to be - with the defense systems installed on NATO’s most modern ships was shut down, as turning off the TV set with the remote control.

The Russian Su-24 then simulated a missile attack against the USS Donald Cook, which was left literally deaf and blind. As if carrying out a training exercise, the Russian aircraft - unarmed - repeated the same maneuver 12 times before flying away.

Sure sounds like an EMP device.. Surprising that could happen with the power available on a JET though.. Like how much EMP power would be required to penetrate so deeply aboard a metal boat? What is the stand-off distance, like a jet getting within a mile, or 500 feet is considered "off limits".. ?

A stick frame wooden building would be quite defenseless or brick apartment buildings in cities. What distances? A nuclear powered EMP, articles say, that 2 of them could damage ALL of the US electronic electrical infrastructure, if they are airborne/space-like based detonations over the US mainland. It could easily be Europe or any other continent.. Can anyone feel safe that objects in orbit are not nuclear EMP-augmented devices?

It is polarized and spun, extra dimensional in nature.

think jumproom to mars, looking glass, dimensional propulsion systems, etc. Thus it is an exercise in sending the gate function to the appropriate place and the leakage and thus massive flow in 'normal' understanding happens locally.

A polarized and spun tickle to gate dimensional flow. Likened to a dimensional RF based FET.

http://www.cliftonlaboratories.com/userimages/Symmetrical%20Schematic%20Symbol.gif

Send the 'gate' (3) low energy voltage resonance pattern to the correct spot, and the B+,or 'source' (2) (multidimensional) is opened up to the drain (1)(our 3d timespace).

It really is no more complicated than that. One can see why it is under wraps. It has the potential (pun intended) to be one helluva mess. As Joseph Farrell says, it has the ability to make nuclear weapons look like firecrackers.

All those stories of sciences and devices that seem impossible stem from this simple point.

THAT is trippy Carmody ! never thought to look at a field effect transistor as a potential weapon when EMP is designed to "take out" field effect devices.

I didn't think an EMP could be programmed with a pattern, that the EMP is but a massive overload of space-time with a whole lot of energy (think nuclear device detonation).. all in a small space being sent out from the source of the detonation.

I would be curious if you could describe how to take a chaotic emp or plasma 'bullet' from a rail gun and impart some form of "intelligent" function on such a bolt of "lightning".. It escapes me how.

Look up how an Italian team came up with a circularly polarized antenna (both sides) system that can send infinite data down a single (frequency) channel.

It is a modification of RF technology.

If the energy of boiling an ocean is in one cubic meter of empty space, then..all of 3d timespace/reality is likened to being a FET, and all one has to do, is gate the thing.

Thankfully, for the idea of a 3d timespace as this one (angularly located side bubble of the complex multidimensional pass through), the same energy is resonance locked in geometric patterns that we call atoms and elements, locked in resonance with the same levels of energy. Knowing this and the complexity of the pattern system, allows one to tickle the immense energies to create effects.

would be interesting if they could switch off spontaneously CERN in Switzerland and Long Island!!! especially in September :blushing:

and do you have any idea how ordinary people can build such a Tesla shield in their ground?
