This video interview with an 'ordinary' lady in the 1960's who witnessed a large 'Mexican Hat' style craft hovering over her house in Staffordshire, England in 1954 stands as being one of the most credible accounts on record IMHO. She is so engaging, honest and without guile that the most hardened of skeptics must pause and think. I want to post this and celebrate this witness account once again, because it is so damned good!

I enjoyed that video. She is so articulate, calm and, as you say without guile. Either she has seen something amazing or she is an superb actress.

In the 50s and 60s I remember that there were lots of reports of such sitings--- more than now. Could it be that the development, and use, of nuclear weapons were being monitored? Or perhaps everyone was more on edge then, and exercised their imaginations to allay the fear of the future that was so real at the time. (Real fear-- not like now!).

Hi GalaxyHorse,

She's a very engaging woman... Is she still alive ?
Is this your mum GalaxyHorse ?
And if this _is_ your mum... do your older siblings also remember this event ?

be happy :-)

I like the old stuff, there was much less chance of nonsense then I think. She did she what she said she saw, imho.

Having said that, I think this was probably a nazi craft. They would have had 20 years or so since the end of WW2 and they would have made great progress in that time frame on their craft, etc.

I always thought it was just a bit silly to think that other beings traveled half way across the Galaxy but still needed glass portals to see what was on the outside of their metal craft....

If the claims of high powered radar taking down Grey ships is true, which many sources claim is the case, then I have always just figured that as our tech advanced they began to step away from their more blatant observations. For thousands of years only the "nutters" claimed to see these crazy things and cameras/crashed ships would change that. If their crafts were at risk of crashing, or if they did not want to be recorded or known about on a large open scale, then they would have to pull back as our tech advanced.

As far as the glass, she made it sound almost like it wasn't a window but just transparent. She was having trouble describing what to call it, even though he mentioned windows and port holes. I wonder if this craft wasn't using some kind of transparent material as a window. Now why they would have done this, I don't know.
