Flat Earth conspiracy is messing with people's heads. I think what happens is people into alternative media and conspiracies are often bombard, or subject themselves to way too many ideas, all manner of interesting stuff, deep, sometimes too deep, where anything is possible. People then become highly suggestible, like a hypnosis patient. Flat earth is an intriguing idea, and the 'evidences' at first seem grounded.

I hope Azt didn't leave upon being a bit embarrassed that he fell for it. I get it.

I have vivid memories of declaring that X was sheer lunacy,
only to discover later that X was true. Where X has been:

The existence of UFOs from outer space
The existence of Aliens
The existence of telepathy
Abduction of humans by aliens
Impregnation of women by aliens
Satanic sexual child abuse by anyone
Satanic sexual child abuse by senior conservative politicians
9/11 was an inside job
Fluoride is neurotoxic, shortens life and reduces IQ
Big Pharma systematically sells infective and _toxic_ medical remedies
Big Pharma systematically _blocks_ effective medical remedies
etc.

I feel the same knee jerk reaction towards the theory of a flat earth.
I think i know that the earth is spherical and therefore this flat earth
theory must be nonsense.

... but ... there is a way that the flat earth theory could conceivably be true.

Itzhak Bentov was probably the first to describe the universe as hollographic.
That it only _seems_ to be 3D .. that in fact all parts of it are equi-distant
both spatially and temporally. If that is true... then the flat earth theory might
also be true... but not in quite the way you might have expected.

However, i suspect, the flat earth theory is just a prank campaign or disinfo campaign.
Perhaps the aim of this is to prompt people to believe (apparent) bullsh!t....
and hence have people discredit themselves in the eyes of their peers.

However, we don't know, what we don't know... we might take for granted
tomorrow things that seemed outlandish yesterday.
