Someone built a bunch of cities and hid them away from the rest of the world:

This project blows my mind. That it actually exists in "our" world, rather than as a science fiction fantasy, is shocking and inspiring at the same time. It will take me a while to absorb the implications of the existence of these cities. On the one hand, they would seem to offer the best hope of survival for our planet and our places upon it; on the other, they seem to offer fertile ground for collectivist "hive-think" cults. Maybe both are true.

My first question is "Who brought these cities into existence?" and secondly: "How did they manage to keep them secret?"

Namaste all,

Brian

Update: So, after some consideration and having read the posts since, I'm also of the opinion that this is a hoax. There is virtually no way to confirm or deny any of the info in this vid. As none of the 'architecture' is even visible (there are lots of aquaculture setups and empty labs available to photograph) and the testimony is so stilted and seamless, (lifeless?) that the evidence leans heavily toward a small video production company hired by a small group of zealots.
So, who done it? And why?

imagine everyone working together , basic needs provided , spending your time with empathy for nature and working on being more creative and productive ... the cities look like ET cities ... very interesting , they have kept the contamination of the outside world away from their experiment ...

Thank heavens, at last! This is the civilized way forward for the human race to survive and thrive. What exists at the moment for most of us is the Wild West.

The answer to that is obviously money money money. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that there may have been some help from the Hollow Earth People. Thank you all.

Hello Siblings,

Don't judge it from it's marketing... all marketing is lies.
Probably, this project is relying on govt or EU funding to survive.
There will be a flip side that only gets mentioned off-camera.
Is this project self-sufficient ? Probably not.
Is this project profitable ? Probably not.

Where are the old people ?
Where are the sick people ?
Where are the poor people ?
Where are the black people ?

And how is it administered ? Like a business ? i.e. like a dictatorship ?
Like a local community ? i.e. democratically ?
I wouldn't mind betting it's run like a dictatorship.

"...scientific decision making..." sounds like fascism.

I wonder if they'll be "...guiding reproduction wisely..." in these new cities.

Time will tell.

be happy :-)

I think, this video report is a fraud.
All of the people in the video seem to be actors, and they repeat memorized statements. I have seen no natural reaction from any of these actors in the video. Normally you have to think first, before you speak. Also they show no emotions. It's quite frightening to watch them, a monster show.
Those people did not show human behaviors.

So I conclude, the video is an experiment to test, if we are willing to lay our future in the hands of a technology. Another variation of the transhumanist agenda.

This sounds good, but there is another side. I believe it is called Technocracy.

This is a long discussion, 3+ hours. Patrick wood is interviewed by John Wells and discusses Technocracy, it's history, where it is taking us and who is behind it.

I'm being a bit suspicious about that as well... If it is so great, why don't they tell us about it on a regular basis and let us know how it's developing?
I remember "Biosphere I" which reminds me of "Horzin-1", but "Biosphere I" failed big time.

I'm sure about this project really, just thinking that they are hiding not just themselves, but something else from us...

did anyone watched Tomorrowland? i do think it it exist...bunch of people on top of their field live together or work together in this city with advance technology beyond our comprehension.

Money doesn't exist in these hidden cities...

I think the last part of that video was great. Yes, they all knew they were being filmed, and it was for a reason, and that the lines were scripted, or at least the message they wanted to send was known ahead of time, however, the last part, where OF COURSE children from a civilized society would laugh at us hahahahahaha that was funny!

This is pretty scary I think. So sterile and, like Olaf says, so fake. These were all scripted comments, no question at all.
Implied UN funding, which is Rockefeller and other elite interests.
Collectivism repeated a few times so no celebration of individuality. Just do what the collective has decided is best.
"All problems are technical and require technical solutions..." Huh? All problems are NOT technical.
"...adopting behavioral techniques that promote kindness and empathy..." This sounds like fluoridated water or other mass drugging to achieve desired behaviors.
Hydroponics and not permaculture? All foods grown in unnatural ways? My bet is gmo foods would be welcome in such a technological city.
The interviews with the children were like watching a horror film. That's not how normal 9-year-olds behave.
I believe in living in harmony with the planet but I also like dancing to my own beat and not conforming to what everyone else thinks, looks like and does.
It's an interesting concept but I'd probably run screaming out of this place in 3 days! ;)

[edit: btw, there was a really good television show made about almost exactly this same concept. It's on Netflix and called Eureka]

I am the typical research librarian/ Teacher/ Student and so I plugged some things into google and found the YT edition:

DUmdKcYwFLk

And I went through all of the comments... and kinda copied the "down-the-rabbit-hole" research one viewer did... NONE of the supposed sponsors of this project can be found on my search engines, so that tells me that these "organizations" may be just made up.... not one of the people who's names were given come up to connect with the faces in the vid, so that tells me they are either underground or non existant....

I'm not saying this is a hoax. I'm just saying that I haven't (yet) any confirmation that this is real. And I agree with everything mpennery wrote above.. it's a bit scary... the children shocked me... but the place looks real. Did that lady say there are other participating/experimental "cities" in the EU???

Other paths the rabbit hole takes me:

With the Prosocial Progress Foundation (PPF), TIBI Releases Interview DVD

TIBI has released the DVD of the two–hour interview of Dr. Stephen Ledoux by the Prosocial Progress Foundation (PPF) as a cooperative fund raising item for both TIBI and PPF. The interview is entitled “Behaviorology and Education for Green Engineering and Sustainable Living.” (The preparation for this interview appeared in Journal of Behaviorology, volume 17, number 1, Spring 2014, pp. 3–12, under the title “An interview on behaviorology supporting a sustainable society.”) As the DVD credits specify (in part), The International Behaviorology Institute (TIBI) presents an ABCs production of a Prosocial Progress Foundation (PPF) interview related to a BehaveTech Publishing book: “Running Out of Time—Introducing Behaviorology to Help Solve Global Problems” by Stephen F. Ledoux, Ph.D., with Mr. Dale Hallatt interviewing Dr. Stephen Ledoux. The topics that the interview questions cover include these:

And the hole just keeps getting deeper and deeper!

as former US President Harry Truman stated: "the only thing ever new on this planet is the history you don't know";

now start with the ancient, absolutely massive underground city ruins discovered in the early 60's in Turkey known as Göbekli Tepe, one of the most puzzling archeological sites ever discovered-

fast forwarding: all of the underground bases/cities built by the NAZIs in a matter of months in the '30s before the war ever broke out;

then add all the DUMBS (deep underground military bases) that exist EVERYWHERE (there's even one here in SW Germany whose 'entrance' is just so conveniently nestled- and strictly off-limits- in the northern Black Forest Mountains near the city of Calw- God only knows how far its tunnels/tentacles exist)-

so nothing is new-

Nice idea but I agree that this vid is a hoax/test, they do not seem like real people live in that city, actors!

the vid actually reminds me of films like:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gattaca
and
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elysium_(film)

This vid/project 'horizon-1' is more like how people "People?" live in a sanitised way off world right now, break away civilisations that is, but not Humans anymore, as in our way of being!

I once had drawings on the net of my version of what I called 'Ring-Cities'
Each ring was a contained city (Of all Class levels etc)
outside the rings where areas of nature, wild life which cold be easily viewed from the outer walls (You of cause could go out side the cities into the wilds)

Each ring being subdivided into outer living areas of like minded beings, IE A outer ring of Families, of singles, of older beings, each living in an environment suited to them (I'm getting old now O.O and don't want to open my windows/doors to let in fresh/cold air to be bombarded by Rap music, less chance of that in an organised ring city)
The centre of the city rises up into a high tower, amenities and process at the bottom, with entertainment/night clubs and nightlife half way up etc also with living accommodations for all classes again, but for those who might not won't gardens etc, etc other than their personal balconies.

you move around inside each ring-City buy public buggies, (no personal cars) each moving along defined tracks etc

Each full ring city connected to other full ring cities by underground rail links

Rind-Cities could each have there own overall-personal-dedicated-theme. So it would make for visiting and or moving to live in other Rig-Cities other than the one you was born in.

And like I say, in-between each Ring-City could/would be 90% wildlife and nature/farming etc! where you could have part time jobs helping to tend the environments :)

It dose show, as we all know, that we can/could/should be living in a much better way right here, right now, we could do it !

Not sure if this true or not

Not sure if I am excited or terrified or not

Hang on I am fairly sure I am terrified if this is real because I can not see the vast majority of the worlds population being invited to join in and it sounds it would be very difficult to make the cut if you did.

Also who cleans the toilets and does the grunt work that robots cant and heavens forbid ever having independant thoughts that dont fit

Personally I think our ability to get it right, to get everything right, is amazing. I've seen technology, AND I love the architecture in old buildings and castles. The tools we actually have to cut stone today are the best we have ever had for this task. Our hand made everything today is so much easier, and the tools so much more advanced. The materials too, we've actually figured out more precisely which materials to use, and which treatments, to have everything we make last forever, or at least centuries at a time, handily. This would eliminate virtually all waste. If I had to say there's one thing lacking in this world they've built, or at least didn't show in this video, it would be that. Hand made musical instruments, computers, coils and windings, everything needs to be on-site, and all of these things, all vehicles included, are going to require a higher population than what they've assembled so far, understandably, and this would include a lot more buildings.

More specialization and craft work all around for everyone. I was a child raised with tools and I'm telling you I loved it. Other children around me liked paint brushes and pencils. On and on it went, society actually knows where who needs to what, without monitor, and those things just seem to be all built in. If there isn't a class clown, one out of every 25 or so, one will assume the role. This culture, the one we live in now, the capitalist culture of death, doesn't allow self reflection or reflection of accomplishment, it only seeks to degrade everything it touches. However if we allow ourselves to self reflect, we're pretty impressive, and the ones who have a built in strive for excellence permeates enough through the population to allow the creation of beautiful well made nice to look at everything. Even if their strive for excellence only comes in spurts, as it does in many, who cares when you've decided at the beginning the type of society you're willing to spend the next 5000 years working on *smile* :o

Just watched the beginning of the Vimeo vid you have posted here and found it pretty scary.
I don't even completely get what they are talking about, which is probably good, because it shows me that my way of thinking is quite different from their's...

I'm also wondering why the video about Horzon-1 apparently hasn't been published by someone else somewhere, so that makes me think it's a hoax for making their project of Behaviorology looking more realistic and successful.
Even their badges don't look like thought-through badges for a purpose like that. I would imagine if someone is setting up a whole new city and a little "world", they would have their own Logo which is unique, not just the name badge and the EU badge...
I might be wrong though...
