‘The suspected abduction and murder of a 15-year-old lad by a VIP paedophile
ring in Britain is featured in a TV documentary Sunday night, writes Nick Dorman
in the Sunday People.

Martin Allen’s disappearance is probed by Australia’s Channel 9 on its 60 Minutes
show which can be viewed in the UK online.

Martin, son of the chauffeur of the Australian High Commissioner in London, vanished in 1979.

He was last seen boarding a Tube train at Kings Cross station.’

‘The Westminster paedophile scandal deepened last night with disturbing new
allegations against former Home Secretary Leon Brittan.

The Tory grandee was named as an abuser by an alleged abuse victim during an
appearance on Australian TV show 60 minutes.

The man claimed that, like the late Liberal MP and prolific paedophile Cyril Smith,
Lord Brittan was a regular visitor to paedophile parties at Dolphin Square in Pimlico,
Central London.

The alleged victim, referred to only as Darren, said: ‘He (Lord Brittan) liked boys to
dress in women’s underwear and he liked to be alone in the room to punish you for
wearing underwear.’’

Its clear from this interview that the establishment knew of the abuse allegation
at Kincora were going on in the 1970's. The cover up had to be political and the
decision to let the boys to be abused , was either for 'national security' or to
satisfy the sexual needs of powerfull people . Either way the state sanctioned

‘Authorities in Northern Ireland are refusing to reveal what they know about
a notorious convicted paedophile with close links to a former government
adviser on the grounds of “national security”, despite official assurances that
two major inquiries will uncover the truth about an alleged child sex-abuse
ring involving leading members of the establishment.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) will not say if it holds information on
Dr Morris Fraser, a convicted paedophile, following a Freedom of Information request.

The revelation is likely to fuel suspicions that there was official collusion, for political
and security ends, surrounding the abuse of boys at, for example, the Kincora Boys’
Home in Belfast in the 1970s. The abuse continued for years, despite several people
alerting the authorities.’

‘There can be little doubt that there have been serious cover-ups over VIP child
sex abuse over the years. Now the Government should be allowed complete
access to all of MI5’s secret files which will reveal the names of those responsible,
says MP Tom Watson, who, three years ago, was the first to raise these allegations
in the House of Commons.’

He believes that in the course of the investigations, the Official Secrets Act
should be set aside in order for evidence to be gathered effectively.

Mr Watson said:


“The MI5 files are key to understanding who knew what and when.

“They might also reveal how reported crimes were not adequately investigated
and on whose orders.”

The inquiry into VIP paedophiles has run into constant problems since its inception
last year. A major difficulty has been in finding someone to lead the inquiry, as the
first candidate chosen, Lady Elizabeth Butler-Sloss, was found to have links to the
establishment and was removed from her position after only 6 days. Her replacement,
Fiona Woolf only stayed in the job for a month before stepping down.

In February 2015, a new leader of the inquiry was appointed with no links to the UK
establishment. Dame Lowell Goddard, a 66 year old judge from New Zealand, took up
the role of Chairman and prepared to lead the investigations. She has, however,
declared that all State departments will be required to comply with orders to release
files to the inquiry.

Although the evidence gathering process has been very lengthy, it appears that the inquiry
itself may now be ready to start, with a first year budget of £17.9 million.

Speaking to the Mirror newspaper, Mr Watson said:


“Police ­investigations into the serial sex abuse of Liberal MP Cyril Smith were closed down by
Special Branch in the 1970s, allowing him to ­terrorise children across four more decades.

“There are serious claims of an Establishment cover-up of allegations of paedophile abuse
involving the then Home Secretary Leon Brittan in the 1980s.

“It’s also now well-documented how police failed to prosecute senior British diplomat and MI6
operative Sir Peter Hayman in 1978 despite having a ­sickening stash of paedophile literature
and sexual fantasy diaries.”

The inquiry itself is likely to drag on until at least 2020, as the process involves up to 30 witness
hearings, all of which will take around 6 weeks, prolonging the investigation for over 3 years. By
the time the report is produced, it is likely that David Cameron will no longer be residing in Number 10.

‘Government papers about the former home secretary Leon Brittan are among a fresh batch of documents
which have come to light months after the conclusion of an official review into whether allegations of child
abuse were covered up by the Home Office in the 1980s.

The documents also reveal that the then director general of MI5 corresponded with the Cabinet Secretary
in 1986 about an unnamed MP who was alleged to have “a penchant for small boys” but accepted the
politican’s word that he did not.

The letter from Sir Anthony Duff to Sir Robert Armstrong added: “At the present stage … the risks of political
embarrassment to the government is rather greater than the security danger.”’

‘The most senior civil servant in the Thatcher government was accused of a ‘shocking’
and ‘cavalier’ attitude last night after he defended an apparent child abuse cover-up.

Former Cabinet Secretary Lord Armstrong was warned by the security services in 1986
that an MP had ‘a penchant for small boys’.But no action was taken and yesterday
Lord Armstrong, who refused to name the MP involved, insisted the allegations were
just ‘shadows of a rumour’. He said he believed the decision not to investigate the
paedophile claims was ‘correct at the time’.

It emerged this week that MI5 had known about the allegations but failed to investigate
after the MP denied them. Sir Antony Duff, then MI5 director-general, wrote to Lord
(then Sir Robert) Armstrong, saying the man ‘has a penchant for small boys’.’

Brittan - have been named in top secret files about a VIP paedophile ring.

And the series of documents are expected to shed new light on horrific abuse
of children at Kincora Boys' Home in east Belfast.

‘Sky News reported that after months of requests, the Government had finally
revealed that papers exist naming senior figures in the 1970s and 1980s.

They include Margaret Thatcher’s former parliamentary secretary the late Sir Peter
Morrison, former diplomat the late Sir Peter Hayman, former minister the late Sir
William van Straubenzee and Brittan.

One of the files relating to Hayman was held by the Cabinet Office but “overlooked”
during a previous trawl for information.

In January the Government was forced to release details about a file prepared for
Mrs Thatcher’s office on the “unnatural” sexual behaviour of Sir Peter, named in
the Commons as a paedophile by Geoffrey Dickens MP in 1981.’

‘A former chaplain to the Queen was yesterday jailed for 39
months after sexually assaulting a young churchgoer.

Canon Dr Stephen Palmer, 68, had promised to help the
17-year-old girl with her religious education exams but
assaulted her six times in his home.

He touched her as she sat on a ‘bench or pew’ at his home
after his wife took his two young children to school.

Portsmouth Crown Court heard the offences took place in
Stubbington, Hampshire, between 1975 and 1976 and left
his victim, now 57, suicidal and suffering ‘on-going nightmares’.’
