In my living-room Middletown Ct.
Right arm.
This popped up out of the blue out of no where.
It was raw and painful.

You probably didn't notice at the time. Sometime when I am really busy, I do not notice a wound until much later.

Could be a staph infection.Super common
Yes, that is quite possible. And they can come on very fast.
addition No matter how you got it, please take care of it, and also please be aware that staph infections can spread.

I was thinking, and hope I am wrong, but it looks like it could be MRSA, which is a staph infecton with bacteria that are immune to most antibiotics. I have read numerous studies that a isolated wound of this sort could respond with raw untreated honey or raw chopped garlic. Both of these are anitmicrobial in nature and bacteria will not mutate against their antimicrobial properties as they are multi faceted in their actions. Have you been a bit run down lately, this type of thing can occur when the immune system is dealing with something else, like stress, a cold ect?

Ditto on the raw garlic and honey. Also, I wonder about an iodine solution, like Betadine, or colloidal silver?

No more stress then the norm. but the wound seems to be healing on its own.

I was stabbed once, in my back just below my right kidney, and did not notice until someone pointed it out.
How many times do bruises appear, which means blunt force, and you have no recollection of banging yourself.
We often injure ourselves without realising. The wound looks clean and not infected shadowstalker. It should heal nicely.
Be careful out there.......... it's a jungle.
Regards.

That is a relief to hear :)

Very true, if it is healing on its own in a short amount of time, then it probably is not MRSA.
