If you discovered strange shapes or things or stones on Mars or Moon pictures, this might be the thread for you to show them.
I found some:

(The picture with the metalic looking thing was in the media I think.)
Also I wonder how the Rover could do a selfie like this without an arm or anything be ssen. Maybe someone knows.

Looking at the wheels on that thing I sit her are laugh. Because with extensive off-road experience, with both motorcycles and
4x4's, the wheels on the rover would provide ZERO traction. They might just as well be smooth, for all the traction they would provide.
And yer right, Pasang!!! Who did take that picture!!! hmm.
I KNOW!!! Maybe it's a Studio-shot... before it left Earth. chuckle chuckle.

NASA lost all its credibility long time ago.
Look at this picture apparently taken by mars curiosity rover. Photoshopped, manipulated, created, faked... what else.

When I downloaded this photo it had white background, now is with black background, little update in the meantime:)

Even if we see some strange shapes on the photos it is hard to be sure of their origins.

They even busted themselves showing the Rover on the trail or horizon. What do they have a remote entourage photographer following?
Unless it's zoomed aerial shot, they're busted.

They actually call it a selfie themselves! Caption of this picture on the nasa.gov website is:
"Latest Selfie from NASA Mars Rover Shows Wide Context"

You're absolutely right about the lack of traction with those tires! Looking at the uncropped photo, it's conceivable the Rover dropped a camera with timer on the other side of the "gulley" before crossing...but the perspective on the uncropped photo looks pretty weird.
Funny, the word "Mojave" in the photo's URL. http://www.nasa.gov/sites/default/files/thumbnails/image/pia19142_malhi-mojave.jpg

I'm also wondering about the good lighting in all the rover-pictures...
And why is the rover so clean? There is hardly any dust or sand on it, as it was only there for 2 days. But it's already there for years! When I look at common industial companies here on earth, then many of the machines are really dirty, even though they are inside a building and not outside in any sandstorm...
I found a picture were the rover has a duster though. Still it won't be able to dust itsself everywhere.
Here's the picture. Seems to have been shot here on earth prior to the mission:

I was on the nasa.gov website looking at the RAW-Images.
Link (http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl-raw-images/proj/msl/redops/ods/surface/sol/01048/opgs/edr/ncam/NLB_490539408EDR_F0482224NCAM15000M_.JPG)
It reads "See the Latest from Mars!
Curiosity sends back raw images for current and prior Sols based on commands sent by the mission team. The rover uses orbiters to relay back a lot of its data, and maximizes each opportunity when they pass by overhead. Curiosity stores any data not transmitted onboard. The rover will send back this data on later Sols according to the mission team's science and engineering priorities. That means these pages update whenever data comes back. Images are filed in the Sol the rover took the picture, not the Sol on which the rover sent the image back to Earth. Check back frequently for more discoveries from Mars!"
Look at the bottom middle of the image. Looks like the layer thing in Photoshop to me.

Just found this on another website. It's a levitating sphere:

It is not the "Layer" thing in Photoshop.
Just found a picture that proofs it is a part of the rover.
Sorry for that.

I still can't understand why NASA just didn't land it at Cydonia (if the Lander is actually ON Mars, that is ;))- one of the most controversial (and interesting) landmarks on Mars? (ie the so-called - Face on Mars). Personally, I'm more interested in the gigantic 3-sided pyramids near by?

Yeah, that's what I was wondering about too! I guess I know why....

What do you think of these shapes? Are they natural?
