View Full Version : I Had A Dream!

And this was the coolest dream ever...
I dreamt that avalon administration, as sort of a tongue in cheek experiment, set up several accounts for dead luminaries in the hope that 1 might find a way to communicate with us electronically...
And 1 did.:faint2: ...a guy by the name of John Lennon..
As dreams go, I do not recall all the names of the other accounts..
So on this day a thread is started with a cryptic msg...and low and behold it's John Lennon's account...and his green light next to his name is screaming with his presence. There are thousands of people on the thread...all waiting for the next move...watching that damn cursor blink over n over again...
I was so excited I woke up! (DAMNIT!!!) I tried to go back to sleep several times and resume the dream...but I learned long ago that that's a pointless move if there ever was one...
And I've been laying here ever since with this little smirk on my face...and it won't go anywhere!
Silly dream, I've said to myself several times. Silly. But wait a second....was it???
I'm not trying to trump the flat earthers here, but is this idea really that preposterous? How many times have we heard the notion of disparate entities working thru electronics?
Look, I know you're laughing! I am too! ...but if you don't find the idea even mildly intriguing, you're lying!!!:)
(Note: Bill has just gone down with a coronary....but don't worry, Doctors say he'll be fine:))
Now, I'm not suggesting we all start bombarding mods with lists of dead people we wanna set up accounts for....but I think this thread could be a kind of neat discussion:
1) is such a thing remotely possible?
2) who would you like to see accounts set up for?
3) what if Paul was forced to ban Nikola Tesla for trolling?:P
All ramifications etc...
Waddya you guys think? Interesting concept?...or have I completely and totally lost it???

Damnit, I wish you didn't wake up before John posted again!
That's a cool dream Mike.
Is it possible? Well the bonding agent between beings is love, so, regarding John Lennon, we've got that part nailed. About the communication via electronics, I beleive so. I read and watch a lot of accounts of paranormal experiences, one that comes to mind is an account a bloke told regarding his best friend who died, he received a phone call from him, after he had passed. Another example is stories of spirits sending messages through the radio.

Avalon already has this feature built-in. Every disembodied human (and nice extradimensionals too) is invited, encouraged even, to fill-in the forum's application. (We figure if they can type a post, they can type an application form.)
Cool dream, Mike! I'll bet he would have opened with, "All you need is love."

I don't think this is crazy at all, are dreams can let us know things that weren't so visible when we were fully awake maybe dreams or visions perhaps due to subconscious things that we see or are influenced by during the day? Some people also do have these abilities such as psychics and other forms of psychoactive people.

I want to hear what Nikola Tesla has to say in light of the current context.

yes! absolutely...great examples
if even 10% of the stories on 'celebrity ghost stories' are true, then it does actually seem possible that we could get a John or an Andy Kaufmann (score one for Gio! ...can you imagine? performing on a forum as a bloody ghost??? LOL. now thats performance art Mr. Kaufmann)

Haha, yep. I watch those paranormal investigation shows too, they use lots of electronics to capture evidence. I found a phone app, similar to one of the devices they use on those shows, and thought I'd give it a try, see if it works. It has a database of words and spirits are supposed to be able to draw from that and use those words to communicate. I received a hit pretty quickly and the words, "far canal" came up together, as I've typed them here. I took that as a yes, I thought that was a rather creative way to drop the f-bomb.

G'day Mike,
Great post mate: very interesting topic.
I have no trouble resuming dreams upon awakening, but here's the catch, at least with me anyway: you must resume the exact position you were in when you woke up. Whatever side you were laying on, go back to it. Wherever your arms were, put them back there: legs too. From my own experience, I know that even if one part of my body is out of place, no dice. Just go back to last point in the dream that you can remember, and start playing it over and over again, allowing yourself to slowly slip into slumber again. I find that the original dream picks up where it left off even before I fall asleep.
It's a cool ability to possess, and I am not unique. I reckon anyone can do it with patient practice.
As for John Lennon, perhaps he'd post the lyrics to "Imagine", the song that probably got him assassinated. I know it's been thrashed, but the lyrics have lost no relevance over the years.
Best Wishes,
Tony.

Yeah, .... well, ............ just be careful. I believe that lawnmower man guy is still floating around out there in cyberspace. :haha:

Umm, the man who has come to be called: Jesus Christ.
I had a dream last nite where Bill and Sierra and another man dressed in black with arms crossed who never said a word, the three of them, dropped by for a visit. At one point Bill leaped onto our couch between the two of us and said, "Stop being so serious, let's party!", or something like that. Don't remember much else. It was nice and I remember being very surprised - they dropped in out of the blue...

It's fine I guess, as long as we could be aware that the discarnate_person "writing-speaking" could not be really who they say they are. It can be for entertaining purposes I guess. Or how could we be able to tell if one is who they say they are?

Ernie, you're really going for it man...right to the top with J-Star eh? I like it..:clapping: it's bold.....somehow I thought we'd have to suffer a few "b" stars first...like John Rivers for example...
Bill made a cameo in one of my dreams once too. It was a full moon, and I was walking past this large field I walk past most days, and there was a small crowd looking up at a ufo. Everyone was quite calm...just observing the thing. But I was apoplectic..freaking out. So Bill turns to me after what seemed like several minutes and says "would you please shut the ("far canal") up?". It totally caught me off guard...and I started laughing loudly. Apparently I spooked the ufo and it shot off.....the little group was quite annoyed with me:bigsmile:
("Far canal" - see Rachel's post above)

I think I have a better idea, Mike. Why don't you become the next John Lennon? Don't worry about playing music, as that is a gift that is honed by specific people. But anybody can travel the world preaching about Peace and Love. Aftet all, he was just another human being, only he followed his passion and didn't give in to fear. I think that if we are ever going to be a sovereign race that embraces Love, then all of us need to take initiative to preach the good ol' message. :)

Unfortunately, and again in my experience alone, that kind of dream cannot be re-entered (poor choice of words I know!).
And it's not just teenage males: I still feel robbed when it happens :(
