Do you or don't you?...
Since there was a change in the direction of a favorite UFO reporting channel, I've noticed that others miss the old style too. I'm considering the pros and cons of producing a program that airs weekly on Youtube. There are certainly other channels that do this work, but not in the specific niche for enthusiasts. These folks have a certain expectation and benchmark for videos. They prefer a certain quality to the reporting and that earns their trust over time and do the research for the right reason.
The footage/reports don't have to be current either, like an old report with a new update.
The cons might surprise:
1. Personal research & proofs might look bias.
2. You loose your anonymity. Notice the reporters/channels after getting recognition can change attitudes, as in becoming popular.
3. The learning curve in the technical and editing aspects.
4. Acquire funds
Pros would be in educating and bringing evidence forward.
