At first I rolled my eyes at the Weekly World News-style headline, but the image is certainly interesting.

What I have been wondering is if our intense interest...and hope for...life on Mars is somehow bringing it into existence.

In a world of no conspiracy NASA would respond to requests and zoom on the curious images. If the image disappears, then there is proof of life on Mars.

The face is less interesting to me, it's the ten 'legs' that's out of place. Might turn out to be some rocks but doesn't look like it from this angle. Deserves a closer look rather than being discounted by pareidolia

It is quite interesting whatever it is. I wouldn't get my hopes that whatever this is is still alive. But perhaps a petrified form of life that once existed there? It certainly has some strange form for the area it's sitting in.

I think the thing that makes it interesting is the whole surrounding area is very consistent except that one place.

Perhaps some form of life holding on for dear life during some extinction event?
