SHANGHAI—As social media helped topple regimes in the Middle East and northern Africa, a senior colonel in the People’s Liberation Army publicly warned that an Internet dominated by the U.S. threatened to overthrow China’s Communist Party.

Ye Zheng and a Chinese researcher, writing in the state-run China Youth Daily, said the Internet represented a new form of global control, and the U.S. was a “shadow” present during some of those popular uprisings. Beijing had better pay attention.

Four years after they sounded that alarm, China is paying a lot of attention. Its government is pushing to rewrite the rules of the global Internet, aiming to draw the world’s largest group of Internet users away from an interconnected global commons and to increasingly run parts of the Internet on China’s terms.

It envisions a future in which governments patrol online discourse like border-control agents, rather than let the U.S., long the world’s digital leader, dictate the rules.

President Xi Jinping—with the help of conservatives in government, academia, military and the technology industry—is moving to exert influence over virtually every part of the digital world in China, from semiconductors to social media. In doing so, Mr. Xi is trying to fracture the international system that makes the Internet basically the same everywhere, and is pressuring foreign companies to help.

On July 1, China’s legislature passed a new security law asserting the nation’s sovereignty extends into cyberspace and calling for network technology to be “controllable.” A week later, China released a draft law to tighten controls over the domestic Internet, including codifying the power to cut access during public-security emergencies.

Other draft laws under consideration would encourage Chinese companies to find local replacements for technology equipment purchased abroad and force foreign vendors to give local authorities encryption keys that would let them control the equipment.

Sorry, I did not know this problem before. I will post it in full next time.

I am aware of the worry about the coming earth change among the general public. The climate change is the point for people to raise their awareness eg hot temperature, drought, etc. No matter how much you try to ignore such fact, problem is next to you now. Thanks for the movie "Sinking of Japan" in which you can see the process of how a country sink. It is very difficult to explain it in detail by word.

What I understand is as follows:
- 90% of the world leaders have seen the future world map.
- Preparation have been made decades ago. For example, social media such as facebook is built purposefully to select people worldwide. The so-called founders know it very well. Governments know each one of us very well actually. I feel sad but it is truth.
- Some weak governments are going to let their people die with their countries eg Taiwan. No arrangement. (I can't face such fact also).
- Imagine this scenario: A4 paper is folded few times, then being tear off into many small pieces floating on the swimming pool. The temperature of this swimming pool is rising, and then cools down. Some ice is formed in short period of time because of ......

POSSIBLE marking scheme in my country, still under discussion:

Except the chosen one, general public will be marked
- No mark will be given to the family those who have 2 passports (please give chance to others for survival, you have another choice already, it is very unfair to occupy this opportunity, China is already over-population), have criminal record, some other unknown terms which I have no idea yet.
- Family will be counted in one unit.
- Favorite age rank: over 10 and under 60
- I have been told that if child is too small, they need a lot of resources to be taken care. Materia1 consumption estimation: 1 child = 3 adult
- Pregnancy woman will be eliminated in term of family unit once the announcement is made publicly.
- There is no so-called favorite occupation, if you can perform outstanding standard in your working field, your family will be taken. Housewife, student and retired people will also be counted. It is no low-level job in our mindset.
- DON'T try to seduce so-called top high level people by either money or body; your whole family will be all eliminated even though you are in the safe place after disaster. Your family will be thrown away.
- Around one million people will be selected. One million + chosen expert's families
- Macau is going to use the similar scheme but not one million people.
- Some other arrangments are made for the unselected families.
- WE HAVE TRIED EVERY METHOD TO SAVE OUR OWN COUNTRY PEOPLE AS MANY AS POSSIBLE, LIKE OUR ALLIANCES.

No one will call you for any marking scheme until public announcement.

Be careful for any fraud.
Be smart, don't be played by others. One step wrong, your whole family may go away.

Social Media such as Facebook, twitter, Sina, ebay, etc.

- They use social media to filter people
- If you and your whole family member have no accounts at all so far, your family are not in the selection group.
- Register under real information, as many as possible, is crucial.
- Less accounts, more chances. (Do you understand my meaning?) Grouping such as facebook group, fan page is different things.
