Fulford and many others say the world is changing big money is being directed to cleaning up all the pollution man has created...

I thought it would be nice to talk about positive changes in the environment, if you see an article, please add it to this one...

The world’s first ocean cleaning system will be deployed in 2016

"There are five gigantic patches of swirling plastic throughout the Earth’s oceans, known as gyres.

Because of ocean currents, a great majority of the plastic that ends up in the oceans finds its way into these garbage patches, poisoning marine life and ending up in the food supply of the planet. Toxic chemicals like PCBs and DDTs are absorbed by the plastic and cause diseases like cancer, malformation and impaired reproductive ability.

That the plastic lands in these rotating patches is a double edged sword. It is horrible, yes, and causes a multitude of problems, but it also localizes the pollutants and gives us a place to start when cleaning up. It’s estimated that 1/3rd of the world’s oceanic plastic pollution is within the great Pacific Garbage Patch (number 01 on the map above).

One young man saw the problem early in his life. Boyan Slat, at the age of 18, gave a riveting Ted Talk unveiling his plan to clean the pollution using passive flotation devices and the ocean’s own current. After all, “why move through the oceans, if the oceans can move through you?” In 2014, at the age of 19, he realized the plan was actually feasible, and now it’s going into effect off the coast of Japan.

The currents pull the sea life under the floatation devices but the lighter-than-water plastics float into the barriers. What would have taken humanity 70,000 years to clean with boats and nets can be cleaned, instead, in decades."

"It’s estimated that a single, 100km cleanup array will clean 42% of the ocean’s plastic in 10 years. The first array will be deployed in 2016 and technology is underway to recycle the plastic into biofuel." link (http://topinfopost.com/2015/06/01/first-ocean-cleaning-system-2016)

Fantastic news that such a young man developed this. Hopefully this will draw attention to the need of radiation clean up, too.

And this is how to clean the oceans from oil.
Not sure if they found a company to produce this in a larger scale now.

"Scientists develop “nanofur” polymer foil for oil absorption

Scientists at the Institute of Microstructure Technology (IMT; www.imt.kit.edu/english) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany have now come up with an innovative solution to cleaning oil spills. The so-called “nanofur” emulates the leaves of the Salvinia water fern, which remain dry under water. By studying this “Salvinia effect”, the researchers were able to copy the fern’s arrangement of microstructures onto a plastic foil whose structure and surface were modified to absorb oil while repelling water. To enable this effect, plastic microhairs are distributed heterogeneously around craters on the surface. The scientists say the entire surface of the polymer foil can be used for oil-water separation.

The mould insert is said to be comparatively easy to produce and can be accomplished on a large-scale, too. First, a steel plate is sand-blasted to generate small craters in micrometre and nanometre size. That then constitutes the mould onto which a polymer foil is placed. After the steel mould is heated and removed from the heat, the hot plastic draws threads, which create the nanofur.

KIT is currently working on a prototype and looking for partners for product development."

Impressive that this springs from such a young man. More sign of a change within humanity.

This is what I meant about Gen Y's ability to bring solutions that are simple, clean and outside the box. I'm loving it and sending positive vibrations of approval to this man. wonderful news, bravo!

Kevin Costner developed oil spill separation machine. BP bought it.
