hi there -
had the same last week.. coming from new york in my case... was tagged in a pic before... i don't do tags so i knew it was fake... i guess it's nothing major... keep an eye on your settings though... they bring in new apps and stuff almost on a daily basis now.... make sure you have your settings up to date...
love,
rhi

I haven't done apps in ages, got tired of them then deleted them about four months ago.
Funny thing tho they said the same thing a week ago when myspace switched things around on us. But the didn't make me change my pass or show me where the person was that tried to enter, and they are still saying that someone is trying to access. but i am chalking that up to a myspace glitch.
P.S. what setting are you referring to.

On your account and privacy settings, you can change it to the most restrictive settings, so that only confirmed friends can see your profile at all. It also allows you to check any apps that are authorised to access your details and to de-authorise them. On the top right the three buttons are Home Profile and Account, and the Account Settings and Privacy Settings can be found under 'Account'.

I would also change your password and any security question, etc., if Facebook has security questions (I don't remember... I don't actually have it myself lol)

A virus can ruin your computer ... but spyware can ruin our life !
Don't underestimate spyware and when your social media accounts are compromised ...

Fine from one side of the mirror - but if you are on the OTHER side of the mirror accessing people's private info using built in back-doors is no problem whatsoever. All this talk about security settings, etc. is really pointless. These systems were constructed as surveillance and information gathering systems to build dossiers on compliant and ignorant people. That is their primary purpose NOT "social networking."
