View Full Version : Market Watch: "Market correction ahead"

I just analyzed what the markets are like and my prediction is that WMT (Walmart stock) is the leading indicator, it has declined by -26% this year and many US stocks seem to follow, it is a broad decline. Since these stocks must decline quite a lot yet until they reach the same correction level as WMT and since WMT might continue its decline, I'm predicting a pretty weak market ahead. This is supported by Shanghai stock exchange again being weak, and this time it seems like investors are more negative so they reposition some of their wealth to gold, the price of gold is therefore beginning to go up. (pretty high volume too) Another interesting sign is that the USD has started to decline against JPY, why this is interesting is because since early 2012 the value of USD has increased by more than 60% against the JPY, this could make a sell pressure on the USD form. And maybe that's what is going on here, now that China devalued its currency the elite might want the same with the USD. All to enslave the people. Hence the US 10 Year T-Note bond is showing signs of strength.

Interesting assessment whitelove. How low do you think the USD could go?

My take on the Walmart aspect of this is that the stock market is basically a rich man's casino. A stock can perform terribly, an yet the company/corporation can be solid as can be, meeting their BOND obligations right on time.

Please do not judge a company/corporation by their stock performance. It is irrelevant to the overall health of the company/corporation, as I understand things (which is very little, I must admit).

Greetings all...
I am watching for the margin calls that should kick in about 10am next trading day...unless plunge protection begins...which didn't happen friday, so I don't see them stepping in monday either...I think they're in the "let it bleed" mode for awhile...most of us know the dow should be at the 8000 level if it is to match the currency devaluation that has plagued the dollar for 10 years...we'll see...(nothing is as it seems)...blessings.
end of line.

Given the data available right now I predict it will decline by -4% against JPY, but as time progresses more data will become available indicating its potential correction course.

Greetings
It's monday afternoon, the dow dropped 1000 then climbed up (ppt) then eased back down half , to close about 500 points down...but oil fell hard, gold, silver fell 3-5%, and the 10 year note's yield fell under 2%...does anyone know what to make of this? Looks like someone spent a ton of money to slow down the inevitable...
Blessings
end of line.

All I can say is I'm glad I don't have any money in the stock market. It's like going to Vegas; you know the odds are against you so why waste your money.

The New York Stock Exchange was rocked Monday after an opening that saw a 1,000
point loss thanks in part to a round of unstable market performances in China, which
impacted the rest of the world. Boom Bust’s Erin Ade has more information about the
day’s losses from New York City.
