An alleged ancient art some may describe it has a form of magic or a spiritual art. It involves communication with deceased people by either summoning their spirit as an apparition and also it has a form of divination to fore tell future events.
This practice is mentioned in ancient history from Babylon, Egypt, Greece and the Roman Empire, and even mention in the Bible in which Endor conjured up the spirit of Samuel.

Later in our history it was practiced in the Middle Ages to the Renaissance period, and in modern times it is referred to as channeling or spiritualism.

Our connection to the non physical world has always been a part of our culture, and refuses to die away in our increasingly materialist world. It is often the case necromancy is used for negative as well as positive purposes. It is often rumored that some in power, be it in government, in business, and even religious circles have used this ancient art for manipulation of the masses and to created a secret power base beyond the visible structures that are in place.

There maybe other forms of this and similar practices even in use today which has influence over world events in which the non physical breaks through the veil into our physical world, also it could be a secret knowledge on how to use these practices....who would have knowledge of such arts....that is something to ponder.

During the 30 May 2015 Payday, Eliza read from the Wikipedia entry on Necromancy:

“Necromancy or nigromancy is a form of magic involving communication with the
deceased—either by summoning their spirit as an apparition or raising them
bodily—for the purpose of divination, imparting the means to foretell future
events or discover hidden knowledge, or to use the deceased as a weapon…”

Bob responded:

“That’s what I did. Because I did not believe that there was dead that you could
not communicate with, I evoked iON…I knew you could talk to the dead, that
they weren’t dead.”

iON remarked:

“The Forgotten Realms.”

Just after that, iON said:

“Ulysses raised the dead of Hades with sheep’s blood in the depths of Hades…
Robert Ferris entered the catacombs at Highgate Cemetery in London to raise
the dead in 1598…Robert Browning was placed in a pillowy.”

Perhaps iON placed that information on this page in response to the question
“Who is the most famous necromancer in history?”

The next evening, “Hardhome”—the eighth episode of the fifth season of Game
of Thrones—aired. At the end of the episode, the Night’s King raises his arms
and reactivates the just-killed (photo above).

Bob says this scene shows the effects of iON—the process of mass die-off and
then the emptying of the Guf which iON explains in the audio below.

( The Guf is Hebrew for heaven ) the place created by gods ( us ) to die into
when we leave the physical realm , not the same as the Astral place where
the eternal gods hangout. There is a bit more to it that I cannot remember.....

In the spirit of Bill's spoon bending exercise, I offer this self taught method for witnessing a ghost for yourself.

For the record, I personally do not think yup can request specific individuals. What you see it's what you get.
