Cherries are not berries. They are drupes,

A cherry is the fruit of many plants of the genus Prunus, and is a fleshy drupe (stone fruit). The cherry fruits of commerce are usually obtained from a limited number of species such as cultivars of the sweet cherry, Prunus avium.

What do we know or use for GOUT? Well, I'm all caught up as one can be with most pertinent PA news and views due to a very rough bout with the Gout. Bed ridden for a week and a half. I take MMS when it comes on and periodically when I feel arthritic and it usually knocks it right out. I should maybe post a thread on this under "prepper Meds and health" but I have used cherries to reduce Gout and it's painful effects so I thought I would add comment about the "drupe" here. Thanks in advance:facepalm:
