Was just passed this link saying NASA has confirmed the earth would go through a 2 week blackout at the end of November. Any truth to this??

Sounds a lot like what KAMERAN FALLY said in his interview on PROJECT CAMELOT this spring (March 13). He has a different explanation though. He says that when Planet X swings by earth (he puts this next year in August) the Iron Oxide thrown off it will cloak the earth for about 1 year.

Truth be told, I don't know. However if this article is bona fide the BBC would be all over it, they love their fear porn. The BBC fears the loss of reputation for reporting obvious hoaxes (as opposed to the fabrications of the BBC themselves and their masters, which is perfectly okay to report it seems). So as the guy in the article says "No one should worry much", he truly has a way with words doesn't he for a highly educated spokesman. :)

According to snopes, the information came from a false news source. NASA has not confirmed the blackout...

You only have to apply a little basic high school physics and astronomy to see this is clearly a pile of rubbish - what kind of event could block the sun off from Earth for that period of time? It would take an orbital path that does not exist in our system, amateur astronomers all over the planet would be yelling about this - why do we respond to this obvious baiting?

Apologies for posting. It was passed onto me and I had no idea if it was true or not. It said that NASA confirmed it....and I figured I'd get a straight answer here at Avalon. My bad.

Snopes, did you know that these people were caught feeding propaganda to the world? I would be very cautious about what I hear from these trolls for the CIA.
Now I would also tend to not take anything I hear from NASA as anything in the way of truth either, They have also been caught lieing to the public in general, Just another alphabet soup corporation out to make the bottom line. Don't really know much about this planet X but would tend to believe this is just more fear porn being shoved at us today. I would think that if any of this is real it would be coming at us a lot different but maybe I am just someone that places to much faith in the human race.
Thanks

No reason to feel bad about it Dave, and no need to apologize either, it was a valid question.

And when Snopes and NASA disagree ... then that really confuses me ... surely the right answer lies behind door three ... wherever that door is.

Actually, yes I did know Snopes is not always factual, but in this case, I felt the link was enough this time. Also, I knew that if NASA confirmed it, it would be allllll over the MSM. In this case, Snopes did in fact have the most accessible list of why this was not a true concern. Still, a good thing to get the word out there that you cannot always trust snopes. Sometimes, however, you can. I think this is one of those cases.
Edit to clarify that I only was using snopes to confirm whether NASA had confirmed this blackout or not... not whether it was something that would actually happen or not. Survey says NASA did not confirm.

Jupiter is almost one third the diameter of the sun if I remember my numbers correctly and very far away from the sun. Space is supposed to be filled with hydrogen and not a true vacuum, so how could the sun explode from the small amount of gas coming from Jupiter so far away. If there are 15 days of darkness, how could the time be calculated so closely? If there is darkness, it would have to be a celestial body which passes between Earth and the Sun and possibly also surrounded by a heavy dust cloud. Kerry Cassidy, during an interview, said that a planet surrounded by a Disen Sphere one million miles in diameter and pulling behind it a light source 22 million miles in diameter (the sun is approximately 864 hundred thousand miles in diameter) would be shortly coming our way! I checked with my calculator, and that is approximately 25 times the diameter of our sun. The Disen Sphere would be 125 times the diameter of earth. Now the sun alone, even if it emitted very little heat is bound to cause catastrophic damage to our solar system and amateur astronomers should have spotted these objects a long time ago. I wonder where Kerry got her information from? Help from any Avalon astronomers out there!

I fear the day when one cannot ask a legitimate question, I see no bad in asking an honest question. If you don't know, you SHOULD ask, I think that's what we are here for.
Only the answers and what follows can lead to sometimes asking for an apology. The straight action of asking can NEVER, in my opinion, lead to the need for one to ask for an apology.
If we couldn't do that here, where else would we ask?
For me, please feel free to ask whatever the heck you want. Sometimes, the questions raised bring up some intelligent group conversations and light on subjects that are hard to find. The members here are of all walks of life, and are informed people on subjects that are sometimes occult. These conversations help bring the subjects to light and inform most of us, I think...
Thanks for asking, there are NO STUPID QUESTIONS.

Lovespot, you are my hero. "There are no dumb questions."
Despite any misinformation and fake science projected to us, we always get to the truth. Who hasn't expected the days of darkness? Who doesn't love BBC fear porn? Let the cries be heard so that the milk of the mother might flow.

I have to agree sometimes one can discern some truth or at least something a little more than pure lies from certain sources. So enjoy this folks

.
Hi, Folks all questions are good questions, at least when first asked, but this one is answered rather easily.
Of all the many things that just might conceivably happen in the next few months, this is certainly not one of them. There's no way 15 days of darkness could ever happen (let alone be predicted)... and one look at the other stories on the very sensational (and cheap!) 'The Rave' tells us all something about the quality of reporting, and the purposes/functions of the site. (Serious news is not one of them.)
There are no linked or referenced sources for the claimed story, and the pseudoscience that "the light from Venus will heat up the gases on Jupiter" is sillier than silly nonsense. (Venus is FAR less bright seen from Jupiter than it is to us here on Earth i.e. just like a bright star in the sky and could heat up absolutely nothing at all. :) )
So... I'm taking the liberty of amending the thread title. No disrespect is intended to anyone at all who may have felt concerned, but we do need to focus on real issues that actually might face us. As I said above, don't worry: this is most definitely not one of them.

Wtf?
This sounds to me like if they are reloading the matrix, a backup.
Thoughts please.
From the 15 of November to the 29, 2016, earth will experience darkness, like winter in Alaska, but with increase in temperatura by 6°_8° ...

"A rumor is spreading that the Earth will experience 15 days of darkness this November. Some even claim that the alleged news came straight from NASA. Is this true or just plain hoax?"
"Reports say that NASA also dispelled the rumors by blatantly saying that the news is false and fake. This means that there is no truth about the 15 days of darkness."

Thanks! :) But we'll keep it there -- also merged with the existing thread (it was November 2015, but obviously it's resurfaced  ).
Also moved to the Known Hoaxes and Other Bad Information (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/forumdisplay.php?160-Known-Hoaxes-and-Other-Bad-Information) section. We need to keep these things in view as an alert to others who may be taken in by the fake story.

Of course. I'm completely with you. But these repeated silly posts just confirm the average person's inability to do something as simple as think! (And we like to think PA forum members are slightly above the average.)

I have been thinking for awhile that there is a strategy here. They, not sure who they are, keep telling us that such and such is going to happen and then it doesn't. I think that this is deliberate so that we will become blase and get caught off our guard. I am knew to this forum so I need to go and see if anybody has discussed the Mandela effect and timelines. I keep telling myself I refuse to be on that timeline, whatever we are being threatened with, so maybe it is working.

could it be that was meant to happen but it didnīt manifest. well we have all the prophecies from Nostradamus and two towers on flame where there; that did happen, from that momento something changed world wide, increase in awareness thus conciousness.
Another thing is that thanks to soho we have seen enormous structures by our sun, bigger tan earth itself. That could make a shadow.
Plus we have been studing the sun closer for how long, perhaps 60 years of real data?? so who really knows what the sun can do itself, if Eric Dollar is right the sun is a transmiter, well it could just stop transmiting, kind of a reset?
And letīs take into consideration that our calendar is been adjusted many times, the error is being counted in , more or less, 3 years. So we are moving around the date.
Now, if that particular event suppose a threat to humans it wont happen.
Nowdays we are contemplating, and one of us living/experiencing one profecy come true. The native americans have one profecy about a giant black snake(oil) and how all thr tribes will unite to defeat it. I am with Standing Rock BTW.
To finish with this, if there is anything that may happend it wont stop becouse, with our knowlege, see it is imposible, or we believe it to be imposible. We can stop anything from happening through awareness, knowing it could happen and the visualizing another outcome.
So...all is good
much love
