I would like you to please help me solve this mathematical puzzle using a Marko Rodin math approach:
4 root (5^3) = X / Y
where X and Y both are integers and I want to know precisely what those integers are.
If you can solve this without a Marko Rodin approach, that's fine too.
4 root (5^3) = 3,3437015248821101200161653662932

You might be better off in a maths forum or perhaps a problem solving forum.
Just a thought :-)

The fourth root of 125 is an irrational number, 3.343....... (infinite number of digits)
It is pretty close to 10/3 and if you go it to higher numbers you will get a closer approximation, but never an exact one.

Thanks a lot for this!

Often, the trick to these kinds of things is to pretend we don't have ten fingers!
Observe this same question in a few other bases and I'm CERTAIN you will find an answer divisible by ONE. I'd suggest six as a good place to start. Perhaps 11 or 8 as well though.

Thanks! I found this to be accurate enough:

If the equation you write is the same as the one that I would write as:
4 * sqrt(5**3) == X/Y
where my "sqrt" (your "root") is the square root, and my "**" (your "^") is exponentiation, then there is no solution.
The square root of 5**3 (which is the square root of 125) is irrational (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irrational_number), equal to no rational number. The ratio of two integers X and Y is rational, of course. So one cannot equal the other.

Yes - what you said - though you read this as the fourth root, not four times the square root. Your reading might well be the correct reading.
