.
Was King Arthur really a fictionalized version of Jesus Christ, and his Round Table the Disciples of Christ?

Ralph Ellis is developing a radical revision of the history of Jesus, Christianity, the Roman Empire and Europe in the period from the time of Christ to (so far) the time of the Crusades. He has just published (on Kindle a few hours ago) his fifth book in that series (which is Book 4 of the 5 Volume "Trilogy" listed below ... confusing <grin>).

This series now includes:

Cleopatra to Christ: Jesus: the great-grandson of Cleopatra. (King Jesus Trilogy) (Volume 1) (http://www.amazon.com/Cleopatra-Christ-great-grandson-Cleopatra-Trilogy/dp/1508465886/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1443073603&sr=1-10)
King Jesus, prince of Judaea and Rome (The King Jesus Trilogy Book 2) (http://www.amazon.com/King-Jesus-prince-Judaea-Trilogy-ebook/dp/B004A14TH0/ref=pd_sim_sbs_351_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=09YFE3ZH7699D9PD3YZD&dpID=51vG9WA2naL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR107%2C160_)
Jesus, King of Edessa (The King Jesus Trilogy Book 3) (http://www.amazon.com/Jesus-King-Edessa-Trilogy-Book-ebook/dp/B009Q5F9CO/ref=pd_sim_sbs_351_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=09YFE3ZH7699D9PD3YZD&dpID=51CSgWZ3OgL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR107%2C160_)
The Grail Cypher: The secrets of Arthurian history revealed (The King Jesus Trilogy Book 4) (http://www.amazon.com/Grail-Cypher-secrets-Arthurian-revealed-ebook/dp/B0152BGX7A/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1443073820&sr=1-1&keywords=The+King+Jesus+Trilogy+ralph+ellis)
Mary Magdalene: Princess of Orange (The King Jesus Trilogy Book 5) (http://www.amazon.com/Mary-Magdalene-Princess-Orange-Trilogy-ebook/dp/B005FMRDBW/ref=pd_sim_sbs_351_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=09YFE3ZH7699D9PD3YZD&dpID=510Ke0s34FL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR105%2C160_)

In this latest volume, "The Grail Cypher: The secrets of Arthurian history revealed (The King Jesus Trilogy Book 4)", Ralph Ellis concludes that King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table is a cover story, fabricated by the recently formed Knights Templar, circa 1100 AD, to preserve, in disguise, the real history of Jesus Christ, which the People’s Crusade of 1096 uncovered in manuscripts that they recovered in what is now eastern Iraq, east of the Euphrates, an area that had been cut off from the main Roman Empire for many centuries and so isolated from the wholesale rewriting of Christian history by the Holy Roman Church.

The truth uncovered in these manuscripts, that Christ had successfully rebelled against Rome and formed an empire over which he ruled, was unacceptable to the Christian church of circa 1100 AD, so the Knights Templar, who held these manuscripts, funded the concoction of a fictional King Arthur, who supposedly reigned sometime in the Dark Ages of the 5th or 6th centuries (from which almost no real history survived, to conflict with the story), which carried forth, in fictionalized form, the real story of Christ as a military leader and King who rebelled against Rome.

Here's an article that lays this forth, in more detail: The Grail Cypher: A radical reassessment of Arthurian history (http://www.ancient-origins.net/news-opinion/grail-cypher-radical-reassessment-arthurian-history-003903). The article is an enjoyable read ... I recommend it.

Here's another such interview, just uploaded to Youtube a few hours ago. Rob McConnell of X' Zone Radio Show interviews Ralph Ellis. This one is less than one hour long.

RALPH ELLIS - King Arthur Is Really Jesus of Nazareth - Ralph Ellis has been researching biblical history for more than thirty years, to a degree and depth that very few other researchers manage to reach. His research is purely historical, and places all the characters and events within the biblical narrative back into the historical record. This has required some adjustment of the biblical chronology, but this is never done without justification.

The result of these endeavors is ten books that explain almost every facet of biblical history, in purely historical terms. Remarkably, it would appear that the majority of the biblical record is a fairly reliable account of real historical events - the fundamental events that have shaped and formed Western civilisation. So the Bible is history, but Ralph will leave it to others to explore and explain the spiritual aspects of this great historical narrative.

From the second video above, Ellis notes that what ISIS is blowing up in Iraq/Syria, now, as we speak, is the archaeological remains of the cities that Jesus and his son ruled.

... destroying our past ... right now, this year.

THANKS, VERY INTERESTING

Is there a possible link between the above theory and the investigations done by ALAN WILSON & BARAM BLACKETT ?
These 2 researchers have for years been doing extensive research into the "King Arthur" mystery.
Their conclusions are also published in a series of books, and some videos linked below :-

I don't pretend to know the answers, but believe these theories are all worth a look.
It should be noted that WILSON & BLACKETT have been the victims of character assassination and attempted murder, which suggests that they're on the right trail.

I am just listening to this video interview of Alan Wilson now. There is a summary of their work at http://www.thefullwiki.org/Alan_Wilson_%28historian%29 . It seems that they think they have found relics, artefacts and the memorial stone of King Arthur, which would be a quite different theory than the theory of Ralph Ellis, who thinks that King Arthur is a fictional variant of the one better known as Jesus Christ.

According to Historians WILSON & BLACKETT, there were 2 KING ARTHURs :-

ARTHUR 1 (AD 340-400)
ARTHUR 2 (AD 503-579).

Interestingly, WILSON & BLACKETT have traced links back to the Middle East region.

Unfortunately, the FullWiki contains errors - character assassination.

Ralph Ellis continues to interview on his latest book, The Grail Cypher: The secrets of Arthurian history revealed (http://amzn.com/B0152BGX7A) with this interview with David Whitehead and Michael Tsarion:

In this groundbreaking 4 part series we bring together Ralph Ellis and Michael Tsarion in an epic discussion on the real story of King Arthur, a fresh look at biblical history, astrology, and symbolism.

Are you willing to have your view of Arthurian, British and Christian history challenged? Are you ready to accept the esoteric mysteries and heresies of the Knights Templar?

Once we understand that Jesus and Arthur shared a common history, the rest of Arthurian legend starts to fall into place. So join Ralph on an extraordinary tour of Arthurian history, much of which you did not even know existed:

Jesus’ son was the king of Palmyra;
St. Peter was the Guardian of the Holy Grail;
Pompey the Great and the pirates of Gibraltar;
Secrets of Mithras and the bull of Taurus;
King Arthur’s battle with Vespasian;
The Roman creation of Christianity;
The Holy Grail was brought to Earth by aliens;
Sir Galahad dressed as a woman;
The burial of Jesus-Arthur at Stonehenge;
tons more.

These are all elements of the Arthurian chronicles that have remained unexplored and unexplained until now. But how can we comprehend the true history of King Arthur if we have not considered the entire corpus of this labyrinthine story? If we bring all these many diverse strands together, and decipher their true meaning, they explain a great deal about the history of Europe, Britain and Christianity.
