SYNCHRONIZED WORLDWIDE GROUP MEDITATION- September 28th

We are inviting everyone to join us in a simultaneous group meditation. On September 28th, if you like, you may join us in meditating in peace on the life which unites us all with each other. We all depend on each other to survive and especially if we are to thrive. The Universal Life exists for all and we take it in with every breath. It gives and gives and never asks for anything back. Ultimately it supplies everything we call ourselves. We can be in it and feel it and feel our connection with each other and doing this will have a positive effect on ourselves and each other.
You may feel free to invite anyone who might want to join us.

What is the purpose of this meditation and why is it happening now?

Hi Jhonie,

These two meditations were on Sept. 23 & 28th because these are seen widely as crucial dates or inflection points for history and the well-being of the human race. To my way of thinking, those of us who are spiritual have a hard time defining a "purpose." It seems to me that people who can easily define a purpose have something in mind like, I want to make a million dollars, or destroy my foes, or get laid, or rule the world through my minions, which is decidedly un-spiritual. Spiritual people might be able to say things like, I would like my brothers and sisters to be less oppressed, or not to suffer so much, or to help each other, but on the spiritual path, you don't want to tell other people what to do or infringe on their rights, including their right to choose their own path. So I think the people who are participating in these group meditations all have a sense, perhaps they sense a light that they're trying to let in, an awareness that they're trying to amplify and key into and spread, and the idea of meditating together over vast distances appeals as a way of being able to do that, or a way of being able to let that happen through us. I have been trying to keep the instructions or the seed-thoughts minimal in order to let everyone bring as much of their own gifts and feelings into it as possible. I believe strongly in individuality and freedom. I have worked a lot in improvised music and the idea there is that the most beautiful compositions come out of a group of people listening to each other and moving forward, connected voluntarily but free. Meditating is the practice of stillness, and the stillness allows awareness of every more subtle and gentle impulses and energies. So if you go into it defining what you want to get out of it, you've blown it to begin with. You're supposed to go into it to learn, and to become more aware, not go into it with a fixed idea of what your purpose is. Does that make any sense? And the other participants should certainly feel free to voice their opinions on the subject! I know Ghostrider was really pushing for a peace vibration, which I sympathized with.

I thought this was a wonderful one, by the way, thanks everyone for joining in! at one point I had a vision of Samantabhadra's six-legged elephant balancing gently on my head on one foot, so gracefully that he didn't spill a drop of water from any of the bathing pools at the ends of his six tusks.

I wish I would have had more notice so that I could have scheduled it in. I was hoping my client wouldn't show up so I could join in, but she did. I would love to be involved in future ones.
