My dears.
I am looking for free open source video editor advice for the development of particular projects.
Here is the first video I test done using a tool called Wondershare Video Editor for windows
The problem with this tool (or beginner here) as you can see in the video below is that it is marked as test version (name and address on the display screen).

Within the 3D Graphic Design world you could try Blender. It has a great emerging video editing capabilities as well as the means to produce great artwork your self. The interface is visually duanting but a little perseverance will reward you immensely. It's Free. They survive on sponsorships and donations. The full package is downloaded for free subject to GNU licenses.
Available to download for Mac, Linux and Windows from the following:
https://www.blender.org/download/
Highly recommended. Second warning, could be adictive. Just sayin'

LightWorks is a good powerful that I have used in the past. They have a free version that is limited in the sense that you cannot render 1080p video but you can do 720p.

Oh, but it's not open source.

As a side note: if your video is mainly a presentation of slides with added music and narration you may find tools that are free and very simple to use that focus on this particular work flow.

Thank you both for your attention and tips.
I looked at all of them.
I installed and uninstalled LightWorks program when I realized I would need to register and in constant renewal, even the free version.
I ended up finding and installing (I'm really enjoying the new toy) a VSDC Free Video Editor tool (http://www.videosoftdev.com/free-video-editor/download) and apparently seems to be more than enough for my initial intentions.
Anyway the good tips are always welcome.
Thank you very much. :thumb:
