View Full Version : Synchronicity = guidance?

In the video below there is channeled content. Whether it is true or not, is subject to discussion. But the idea that synchronicities are more than just synchronicities - that they are speaking a language of guidance, that they are there to help and guide you forward - hints to the fact that there may be advanced knowledge out there, communicated to you and made accessible to you by observing these synchronicities.
I know that David Wilcock seems to make similar observations, he is very much into observing synchronicities, and maybe that is a path towards faster awakening and truth. What do you think?

Partial transcription of Bashar's video above:
THE TOOL KIT
(from Bashar)
The formula of excitement:
1. Act on anything that contains more excitement than anything else, than any other option
2. ...to the best of your ability, taking it as far as you can and can take it no further
3. ...with absolutely zero insistence on or assumption of what the outcome ought to be.
That’s the first part of the formula. The next part is the Tool Kit.
When you do the first part, you activate the kit that contains EVERYTHING you need to be supported in your life no matter in what form it may come.
It becomes the driving engine of your life that moves you forward through life.
It becomes the organizing principle in your life that demonstrates through synchronicity exactly WHAT you need to do, WHEN you need to do it, with WHOM you need to do it, WHERE you need to do it.
It becomes the path of least resistance in your life that allows you to flow through your life in the easiest possible way.
It becomes the path that connects to all other expressions of your excitement that are in alignment to your true vibration.
Even though they may all look very different, it’s the EXCITEMENT that tells you they are connected; not how they look on the surface.
And the final tool, it is the REFLECTIVE MIRROR that reveals to you anything within your unconscious mind that might be OUT of alignment with your excitement, so that you can make it conscious, redefine it, and add its energy TO the momentum of your excitement.
Once that kit is working for you in that way, the only thing left to do is that when any circumstance or situation arises – based on the actions you’ve taken in following your excitement - you then have the choice in the face of that circumstance to define it POSITIVELY and get a beneficial effect, or define it NEGATIVELY, and get a negative effect.
That’s it.
[Do the first three parts, and then...] KNOW beyond the shadow of a doubt you will be supported...

I think we're constantly guided, the signs are all around us, we just have to notice them...

Thankyou whitelove for starting this thread!
I don't use any tools, synchronicities including astrology transits (which are tools of course depending on how you use it - can you consider a mirror being a tool?) are a constant companion in my everyday life, make me feel connected but I continue chopping wood carrying water not trying to figure out whether they will bring me money, luck or whatever...but being attentive to the feeling I get from it observing what's going on in my mind at the moment trying to become more "consious"... fails me half of the time
And as an example, The Sun just entered my second house which puts focus on values, resources and ideals and I find this video where first thing this young woman asks about is wanting to "attract" money....I always get a bad feeling when the prime focus is "attracting money or luck" the wish to "bend and manipulate" the Universe to one's will...

Sure, if one has the money, the stocks, the interest and the knowledge one can follow market astrologer Raymond Merrimans MMA-cycles to earn money by owning money and benefit from others losing money...

"Bashar" confirmed to me what I already know by Eckhart Tolle and Barbel Mohr e.a. ... And these sources seem to me independently from each other...
It broadens the horizon on looking at the things that happen. A great encouragement.

Here's an example from "Synchronicity, Science and Soulmaking": Synchronistic Interlude 5
Learning to trust the Inner Voice
The weekend started innocently enough: Al and Rose, their two-year-old son, my close friend Catherine, and I were going to fly in Al's single engine plane to visit friends in Massachusetts for Thanksgiving.
On the morning we were set to leave , I felt the urge to look at my astrological transits. Having studied astrology for the past eight years, I thought I had developed a good sense of when to use and not misuse this ancient art. While my prime motivation in studying astrology has always been to use it as a tool of self-understanding, I had also found it useful at certain times for choosing propitious moments for action or inaction.
As I opened the ephemeris to check my transits (the daily motion of the planets relative to the planetary position when I was born) I was chagrined to find myself in the midst of a particularly difficult aspect-transiting Uranus conjunct my natal mars-traditionally known for unexpected happenings, accidents, etc. I quickly called catherine. her immediate respons was. "I'm not flying with you with that aspect! it's too dangerous. Perhaps I'll drive but no flying." Intuitively knowing she was right i called Al and Rose to tell them of our findings and desiscion. i spoke with Rose who had studied astrology as long as I had. She said, "Are you going to let astrology run your life? This aspect doesn't necessarily mean something negative is going to happen. Ultimately each individual creates his own circumstances."
Naturally Rose knew just how to push my buttons. I had always struggled with the issues of free will and determinism and prided myself in using astrology to help me live a good life and yet not have it run my life.
On one hand, there is the intuitive knowledge and feeling that there is an ordered cosmos in which patterns and events are to some extent determined by our past actions and guided by an intelligence that includes both our ego and the world it inhabits. on the other hand, i experience myself as a free individual, with the power to create and choose my own life experiences. How can these be reconciled? Most critics of astrology say pple use it as a cruth so as to not take reponsibility for their actions. But I venture to say that if one honestly and openly looks at their experience, they would see that our lives are more ordered and determined than we would like to admit.
I told Rose I'd think about it and call her back. Rose's reasoning did not impress Catherine, but catherine came up with a good suggestion: Look at everyone's horoscope including Al and Rose's two-yrear old son. surprisingly everyone had either a square or opposition involving Uranus, Mars or Venus. Sometimes it was the transiting Mars or transiting uranus, but in each case, including my own, Uranus or Mars was involved. It was no coincidence. Flying was out of the question. Four charts, all with problematic aspects to uranus, was too much to ignore. if this was a test of free will or determinism, here i would side with determinism. In fact, when Catherine saw the astrology she even withdrew her offer to drive.
Confident in my findings, i quickly called Rose back to tell her. While she agreed that all of us having these aspects was troubling, she still was not going to let some outside agency run her lige. i still don't exactly know what happened then. for whatever reason, I gave up all my knowledge, all my intuition, and agreed to fly.
I said good-bye to catherine and left int the single-engine plane for Massachusetts. As we ascended, my misgivings were clear, but I had decided. i would live with it the best way possible.
The first part of the flight was fine but as we got closer to the Massachusett's coast the turbulence got incresingly intese. Al, the pilot, didn't seem concerned, but when we hit a big air pocket and all our heads butted up against the ceiling i could see him becoming a little unglued. in fact, after we landed, Al admitted that it was the most turbulent flight he evr had. as I left the plane, i though the gods had taught us a lesson. they terrorized us for going against their will, but has spared us with just a really bad flight.
The weekend went smoothly enough as we all had a great time seeing our dear friends. Sunday morning we visited he nearby Vedanta Center to see Gayatri Devi, a saintly woman, who leads the community there.
Oddly enough, her whole talk was on learning to cope with natural disasters. Her other center in california had just experienced a devastaating fire. As she spoke, i felt her gaze penetrate me-as if she were trying to convey something important to me. I asked Al afterward if he had felt her staring directly bat me. He confirmed my feeling. Only later would the full impact of the experience come home to me.
We said goodbye to our friends, bordered our little plane, and took off. As we climbed to about four thousand feet, this question just popped out of my mouth:"Al, if we had an emergency and you had to land the plane, where would you land?" Al looked around and said ""probably in that lake over there. There's no strip of land around long enough for a landing. Nothing more was said for 20 minutes until the following popped out of my mouth: "Al, what does it sound like when the engine conks out"?
Before he could answer I learned first hand. Within 20 seconds of asking the question the engine started sputtering, sputtering and then finally nothing. Silence. Five thousand feet, total cloud cover, Berkshire Mountains in every direction.....Silence. We couldn't make radio contact with any airport.
When we broke through the clouds, we had about 60 seconds before hitting the ground. Like a flashback from 20 minutes before, a lake miraculously appeared in front of us. Al told us that our only chance was to land in the lake.
60 seconds were left to contemplate my fate. Why did I do it? I obviously knew not to go. All these passing thoughts became meaningless as I prepared to die-and to my mind deservedly so. I got as quiet as possible and started meditating and getting ready for i don't know what.
As we glided toward the lake, Al's first pass was somehow not right and he urned the plane sharply to make one last attempt. This time we glided right over the shoreline and Al put the plane down 30 feet from land in what was the smoothest landing of my life.
Al told us to get out on the wing, jump in the water, ansd swim to the shore. Being a very poor swimmer, the ideaof jumping into a cold lake was almost scarier for me than the engine coking out in the first place. What choice did I have? So I jumped in and started swimming. i was wearing a sheepsin coat and forgot to take it off. I almost drowned on the way. As it turned out, if I had stood up I would have realized I could have walked. We were only in four feet of water! Not only that, but we could have stayed on the wing and been rescued by a boat that had heared the engine sputtering.
While getting warm in a cottage by the lake, having been given dry clothes by an extraordinarily helpful man, I was alredy trying to distill the mening of these experiences. Fourteen years later I still ponder the experience and wonder how much meaning there was for me in that cold lake.
For me, there were four synchronistic events within this experience:
1. The experience at the vedanta Center where Gayatri Devi spoke of natural disasters and pierced me with her gaze.
2. Asking where we would land in an emergency 20 minutes bfore the crash.
3. Asking 20 seconds before the engine died what it was like when the engine
stopped
4. The entire astrological scenario, my denial, and the unfolding events, which had by far the most lasting impact.
Both before and after the crash, i have had experiences similar to the first three, but I had nevr before experiences the immediate consequences of willfully ignoring my knowledge, feeling and intuition. The immediacy and power of the events, especially given the astrological warning have deeply influenced the use of my will ever since. Now, when a voice in me says wait, or don't, I step back and try to feel and understand what that voice is trying to say. i often consult my astrological indicators to verify my feelings and intuitions. I am always asking the question "Is there something objective I should be listening to?" astrology often helps us point to the answer.
I still believe we must exercise basic existential freedoms in life. But I equally know that we are so intimately related to the cosmos, that we must heed the symbols embedded in the cosmos, i.e. the astrological mandala and others, when they speak to us. This speaking is a gift, a way in which the intelligence guiding both our inner and outer lives ties to help us-grace, if you will. I learned that to turn my back on it is to turn from life itself. :star::star::star:
