We have the left wing - Vänsterpartiet, Socialdemokraterna and Miljöpartiet and we have the right wing - Kristdemokraterna, Folkpartiet, Centern, Moderaterna and Sverigedemokraterna.
The topics included e.g. the immigration situation, the housing crisis, the environment/energy situation, the private loan debts crisis and Nato membership.
Here is my review on it. The left wing - who also currently has the majority of the people's votes - is the more grounded, less dangerous, however a bit more conservative side. The right wing is quite scary in many respects. Especially the Kristdemokraterna (Christ Democrats) have taken a surprisingly cold position, given that they should be the party that is expected to deliver signs of the "most warm" values behind their arguments. They wanted to move from permanent to temporary rights for immigrants to stay in the country, they wanted to join Nato and were totally living in a Swedish media reality, very scary.
In fact I found that among all of these parties, it was actually the most left wing party - Vänsterpariet - who most clearly presented arguments aligned to Christ love values. They talked about having open arms towards immigrants, to make them permanently welcome, to give them hope for the future, to avoid Nato membership etc.
Sverigedemokraterna, who is the most right wing party and hence is the party that basically wants to throw out all immigrants and build a race based nationalistic society, actually managed to counter all of the dangerous stuff presented by the right wing, so tonight the left wing gained a lot from them.
I have seen many debates, but this is one of the strongest ones carried out by the leading party Socialdemokraterna. Their leader Stefan Löfven had very well grounded arguments throughout the whole debate, all kinds of silly stuff was thrown against him by Moderaterna, and he always found great arguments.
Here is how I rank the parties, seen from the perspective of what values would cause the greatest positive change and awakening in this country:
1. Vänsterpartiet
2. Miljöpartiet
3. Socialdemokraterna
4. Centern
5. Folkpartiet
6. Kristdemokraterna
7. Sverigedemokraterna
Vänsterpartiet led by Jonas Sjöstedt, is my favorite party, because it is in my view the party with the most loving and most authentic ideas and values. Right now it really stands out from the rest in the sense that it clearly wants to make major positive changes towards a warm, open, modern, responsible and fun society. It is the opposite to Moderaterna, who basically wants an unfair cold unsecure money driven society.
I think the world should pay attention to Sweden's left wing party "Vänsterpartiet" right now, they do have very sound ideas and values. Jonas is again and again taking the anti-Cabal position by extremely accurately pointing out what the issues are, I'm impressed. It is this party that wants to cut down on the number of work hours per day.
The parties are overall showing open arms to people in need who want to migrate there, some are prepared to provide equal conditions, some are not. Overall, Sweden's political direction has improved lately. There are a number of reforms that will resolve a number of issues. More houses built will mean that the housing crisis is addressed and the loans will not keep rising even more aggressively. The social system is starting to re-gain some of the money it lost to private corporate interest groups, which means a more warm hand to the weak and old people.
And there is a chance that Vänsterpartiet is gradually going to improve its authority level, I think the chances are good for that because they have a strong leader who is consistently strong. So all in all, it's kind of positive, we are starting to see some more light at the end of the tunnel compared to when the right wing party Moderaterna was in charge - which was a time of darkness.
