I have links to the Q'ero via a healing technique that I learned. I am also learning that what I was taught was just a small sentence taken from an intact teaching that IMO dates to humanity's preCatyclysmic system of knowledge. When the Spanish arrived, the teaching was taken up to the mountains.

Now it is being brought back down back to use. I do not feel that we have even begun to experience the new age of our reconnection to the energy and information we once knew but we have the intention now.

Many of the events that we are observing serve to re-inforce an innate knowing that forgot. We are the fire keepers of our own hearth who stir the ashes of our experience. We are always looking for ourselves as the pearl, the kernal, the seed, the real, all symbols of our wholeness.

The eagle and condor prophecy

The Eagle and the Condor is an ancient Amazon prophecy that speaks of human societies splitting into two paths – that of the Eagle, and that of the Condor. The path of the Condor is the path of heart, of intuition, and of the feminine. The path of the Eagle is the path of the mind, of the industrial, and of the masculine.

The prophecy says that the 1490s would begin a 500 year period during during which the Eagle people would become so powerful that they would virtually drive the Condor people out of existence. This can be seen in the conquering of the Americas and the killing and oppressing of the indigenous peoples in the subsequent 500 years – up to and including today.

The prophecy says that during the next 500-year period, beginning in 1990, the potential would arise for the Eagle and the Condor to come together, to fly in the same sky, and to create a new level of consciousness for humanity. The prophecy only speaks of the potential, so it’s up to us to activate this potential and ensure that a new consciousness is allowed to arise. The Eagle and The Condor Prophecy

The Inka believe a new day is dawning. The doorways between the worlds are opening holes in time that we can step through and beyond, where our human capabilities propel us to heights never experienced before. We have the knowledge to craft new physical bodies that age differently, heal differently, and that possibly may never die. These bodies offer us the opportunity to step beyond the world we have known, where we can once again embark on our journey, returning to the stars.........

there is tremendous upheaval happening on all levels: physical, emotional, and energetic; and now we are faced with an evolutionary leap in human consciousness, and now is the time to choose how we make that leap. Now is the time for individuals to leave behind the victim consciousness that has brought the human species to its knees and to the brink of destruction and step into the free and empowered consciousness of co-creators. And as more and more deliberate individuals such as you make this evolutionary leap a critical mass is reached and the entire human species is pulled forward all at once.

Prophecy is not something that happens to us; we must make it happen. We are the ones we have been waiting for. To play and active and deliberate role in the bringing forth of a world destiny can be far more enjoyable and graceful than just helplessly waiting for it to happen and hoping not to suffer through it. This is why the Inka (Q’ero) have come out of 500 years of isolation to teach the westerners their techniques for attaining full empowerment and freedom. This is the reason for the work that I am doing here as a western-Inka Shaman. We are doing this work not only to grow corn but to grow Gods. It is a choice each and every individual is making, consciously or not. If you are reading this, there is a good chance you are making this choice consciously and I would encourage you to continue your journey of empowerment and freedom and I will show up to help you in any way that I can.

The elders spoke of the transformation of the human species that has already begun and is well under way. It is called the Pachakuti – “the world turning upside down”. The first Pachakuti for the Inka is when the Spanish Conquistadors came over 500 years ago with their “Western” ways which were literally backwards or upside down compared to the sophisticated Earth/feminine-based societies that made up the Inka Empire, as well as the other great cultures of the Americas. That was also prophesized at the time. The current Pachakuti that the Western world is experiencing now is the returning to a way of living that is right side up so to speak.

The elder shamans say that Homo Sapiens are becoming extinct, and that we are becoming Homo Luminous; and that we are the ones we have been waiting for. This matches the prophecies of all the medicine peoples of the Americas, North and South. For example, the Maya said that real humans wouldn’t even be here on Earth until 2012; which made us before that date a kind of proto-human / experimental; but that it is now up to us to call that human in. They emphasized that the time to choose is right now (not 2012, 2020 or 2050). That there are those who will choose and bring in the new way of Homo Luminous by embarking on the healer’s journey of full empowerment and freedom now, so that they can step beyond the influences of a culture based on fear, violence, greed, and the slow death that stalks us everyday. Once beyond those influences, we are ready to step into our full power as co-creators. It is a wonderful opportunity and time to be alive. We are here to witness the a re-balancing of the Earth and all of creation; and play a role in that re-balancing according to our desires, whether they are conscious or not. Us Westerners have the opportunity to return to the Garden where all the primary peoples have never left; and we can do it in a way that is beautiful and graceful if we choose. Imagine being able to communicate with all conscious beings, the animals, stones, plants, etc. and live in greater harmony; assisted on all levels to obtain a life of joy and exhilaration, free of the necessity of struggle and suffering.

Those that are choosing to clear themselves of past and present influences and step into their full power and freedom through shamanic energy medicine are becoming part of a collective of human consciousness that upon reaching a critical mass will cause an evolutionary leap in consciousness for all humans. Scientists have discovered that this is how we have evolved in the past, by steps or leaps. This is often referred to as the 100th Monkey effect, which has been scientifically proven for humans as well as other species.

The shamans say that we will know that we are fully healed in our power and free, when nothing anybody says, does, or thinks, triggers us out of our joyful state for more than a few seconds – creating the possibility of true unconditional love and kindness beyond the grip of fear and anger. Imagine not having to waste energy engaging or recovering, and instead being able to use it as deliberate co-creator, appreciating even the contrast in life for the clarity, desire, and life force it brings forth. I will leave you with this paraphrase from the teachings of Abraham – The purpose of life is joy, the result is expansion/growth, and the basis is freedom/free will, but the purpose is joy.

The shamans say that the Universe makes you right – so that whatever you choose to believe (your working hypothesis), you will continue to find evidence to support it. So, why not make your working hypothesis extraordinary.http://balancingbetweenworlds.com/the-qero-prophecies/

Andean prophecies (http://aetherforce.com/south-american-shamanism-prophecies-and-accessing-your-energy-body/)

Andean prophecies are very much aligned with Hopi and Maya prophecies of transitioning calendar cycles and of a coming golden age.

The Andean prophecy speaks of a golden age during which we can step more fully into our energy bodies and manifest fantastic new levels of awareness on Earth. The fabled Taripay Pacha ushers in “The Age of Meeting Ourselves Again”.

During this period, the choices humankind make will affect which possible future will manifest. Human consciousness has the opportunity to evolve, resulting in our harnessing incredible healing powers. This infallible healing capacity signals the “fifth level” of human consciousness to manifest on Earth via a mystical preisthood (not limited to South America) coming together by rite of initiation, called the Mosoq Karpay. It does not yet exist, and all Andean paqos (shamans) are awaiting it.

One can think of the fifth level in terms similar to the concept of the fifth world of the Hopi or Maya, as a new epochal cycle that initiates the formation of a new kind of human being. During this period, when our healing capacities are fully harnessed, we can begin to move out of the deterministic stream of physical evolution. That is, the emphasis of life begins to shift from a physical expression to an energetic one. We will move closer to becoming true light beings, literal Children of the Sun, with crystalline bodhis.

Paqos, or spiritual seekers of any kind and located across the globe are integral to this maturation process. In fact it is the Andean elders belief that within the vision for Taripay Pacha, anyone of sufficient spiritual awareness, of any ethnic heritage or cultural or religious background, can contribute to raising the vibrational energy and the spiritual consciousness to the level needed to complete the transformation and fully manifest this “plenipotentiary.”

Andean prophecy details specific occurrences that will signal the unfolding of a new era. The first is the rise of twelve Inka Mallkus, or supreme healers called tukuy hampeqs. After returning as a group to the Wiraqocha Temple,

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i86/adam_Lazarra12345/emploInkadeWiraqochaCusco.jpg

the most sacred temple in Peru, they will re-enact the ancient ritual of the crowning of the Inka, thereby preparing the way for the manifestation of the Sapa Inka (male) and Qoya (female), the enlightened rulers of the sixth level and recognized by the bright white or golden aura that surrounds their physical bodies.

The prophecy suggests that persons of the fifth and sixth levels – The Inka Mallkus and Nust’as, and the Sapa Inka and Qoya – do not have to be blood descendants of the Inkas. In fact they do not have to be Andeans at all. They can come from any ethnic, racial, religious, or cultural background.

In 1996, Andean Q’ero paqos met with Hopi elders in the San Francisco Peaks, where the Q’ero connected the seques of South America to North America. In a moving ceremony, they joined the “spine of the Mother” via the sacred mountains of the San Francisco Peaks, and with that act the prophecy began to flow through the “nervous system” of the North. During these auspicious meetings between the Q’ero and their brothers, the Hopi, these two lineages renewed ancient spiritual ties, reuniting the energies of the keepers of the ancient knowledge of north and south (eagle/condor).

Q'ERO MYSTICS OF PERU
WATCH FOR FREE (http://qeromysticsofperu.instapage.com/)

The Q’ero had lived in their villages high in the Andes in virtual solitude from the world until their “discovery” in 1949, when an anthropologist was at a festival in Paucartambo, in southern Peru, where he met two Indians speaking fluent Quecha, the language of the Incas. The first Western expedition to the Q’ero villages then occurred in 1955.

Four years later, at the annual Feast of The Return of the Pleiades taking place in the Andes, the gathering of 70,000 pilgrims from South America were awed, and the crowd parted to let the Q’ero, unannounced and wearing the Incan emblem of the sun, make their way forward to the mountain top to make known that the time of the prophecies was at hand. They were welcomed by theassembly and were told, “We’ve been waiting for you for 500 years.” Q’ero elders journeyed to North America in fulfillment of their prophecies.

In November 1996, a small group of Q’ero, including the tribal leader and the head shaman, visited several cities in the US, including New York, where they performed a private ceremony at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. The shamanic ritual had not been performed for 500 years. But in thevery home of those who symbolized the former conquerors of their Incan ancestors they shared their ritual and knowledge, not only with interested Westerners who were learning their ways, but also with the Dean of the great cathedral, thereby symbolically and spiritually linking the two continents of North and South America.

According to ancient prophecy, this is the time of the great gathering called the “mastay” and reintegration of the peoples of the four directions. The Q’ero are releasing their teachings to the West, in preparation for the day the Eagle of the North and the Condor of the South (the Americas) fly together again. They believe that “munay,” love and compassion, will be the guiding force of this great gathering of the peoples.

The new caretakers of the Earth will come from the West, and those that have made the greatest impact on Mother Earth now have the moral responsibility to remake their relationship with Her, after remaking themselves,” said Don Antonio Morales, a master Q’ero shaman. The prophecy holds that North America will supply the physical strength, or body; Europe will supply the mental aspect, or head; and the heart will be supplied by South America.

When the Spanish conquered the Incas 500 years ago, the last pachacuti, or great change, occurred. The Q’ero have been waiting ever since for the next pachacuti, when order would emerge out of chaos. For the past five centuries they preserved their s acred knowledge, and finally, in recent years, the signs were fulfilled that the great time of change was at hand: the high mountain lagoons have dried, the condor is nearly extinct and the discovery of the Golden Temple has occurred, following the earthquake in 1949 which represented the wrath of the sun.

The prophecies are optimistic. They refer to the end of time as we know it — the death of a way of thinking and a way of being, the end of a way of relating to nature and to the earth. In the coming years, the Incas expect us to emerge into a golden age, a golden millennium of peace. The prophecies also speak of tumultuous changes happening in the earth, and in our psyche, redefining our relationships and spirituality. The next pachacuti, or great change, has already begun, and it promises the emergence of a new human after this period of turmoil. The chaos and upheaval characteristic of this period will last another four years, according to the Q’ero.

The paradigm of European civilization will continue to collapse, and the way of the Earth people will return. Even more importantly, the shamanic elders speak about a tear in the fabric of time itself.

This presents an opportunity for us to describe ourselves not as who we have been in the past but as who we are becoming. Pachacuti also refers to a great Incan leader who lived in the late 1300s. He is said to have built Machu Picchu and was the architect of an empire the size of the US. For the Incas, Pachacuti is a spiritual prototype — a Master, a luminous one who stepped outside of time. He was a messiah, but not in the Christian sense of the only son of God, beyond the reach of humanity. Rather he is viewed as a symbol and promise of who we all might become. He embodies the essence of the prophecies of the pachacuti, as Pacha means “earth” or “time,” and cuti means “to set things right.” His name also means “transformer of the earth.”

The prophecies of the pachacuti are known throughout the Andes. There are those who believe the prophecies refer to the return of the leader Pachacuti to defeat those who took the Incas’ land. But according to Dr. Villoldo, the return of Pachacuti is taking place on the collective level. “It’s not the return of a single individual who embodies what we’re becoming, but a process of emergence available to all peoples.” The Q’ero have served as the caretakers of the rites and prophecies of their Inca ancestors. The prophecies are of no use unless one has the keys, the rites of passage.

The Star Rites, or “Mosoq Karpay” (The Rites of the Time to Come), are crucial to the practical growth described in the prophecies. Following the “despachos” (ritualistic offerings of mesa, or medicine bundles) at the ceremony in New York City, the shamans administered the Mosoq Karpay to the individuals present, transmitting the energies originating with the ancestors of their lineage. The transmission of the Mosoq Karpay is the ceremony representing the end of one’s relationship to time. It is a process of the heart. This process of Becoming is considered more important than the prophecies themselves. The Karpay (rites) plant the seed of knowledge, the seed of Pachacuti, in the luminous body of the recipient. It is up to each person to water and tend the seed so that it can grow and blossom. The rites are a transmission of potential; one must then make oneself available to destiny. The Karpays connect the person to an ancient lineage of knowledge and power that cannot be accessed by the individual. It can only be summoned by a tribe. Ultimately, this power can provide the impetus for one to leap into the body of an Inca, a Luminous One. That person is connected directly to the stars, the Incan Sun of cosmology.

The Q’ero believe that the doorways between the worlds are opening again. Holes in time that we can step through and beyond, where we can explore our human capabilities. Regaining our luminous nature is a possibility today for all who dare to take the leap. The Andean shamans say, “Follow your own footsteps. Learn from the rivers, the trees and the rocks. Honor the Christ, the Buddha, your brothers and sisters. Honor the Earth Mother and the Great Spirit. Honor yourself and all of creation.” “Look with the eyes of your soul and engage the essential,” is the teaching of the Q’ero.Prophecy The Eagle and The Condor (http://www.labyrinthina.com/prophecy-the-eagle-and-the-condor.html)

Thank you for sharing this, I was very fortunate to spend 2 weeks with a Paqo and his family,: Don Franscico and Juanita Flores in Cusco back in 2012 with a small group of people, we had ceremonies in a lot of the sites that are featured in some of the films. If you are interested in learning more about shamanism of the Inca I would also recommend Joan Parisi Wilcox amazing book: The Masters of the living energy.

I am so happy to hear that you have intimate connections with the Q'ero tradition. I would love to hear any of the experience you would care t share!!!!! I am interested in everything about this lineage tradition.

Here is a short pdf The Andean Cosmovison (http://www.salkawind.com/Writings/Andean_Cosmovision_Handout.pdf)

and a healing process from the Q'ero tradition Hucha Mikhuy (http://shamamamma.com/blog/2011/10/28/great-article-from-the-quero-foundation-awesome-example-of-t.html)

I am making beginning connections between the way the same teachings survive in multiple cultures. I am wondering and looking for the source of the teachings. For instance, the understanding from the ancients of the endings in cycles and beginning anew comes from various groups and is Universal for the ancients.

The end of cycles and new beginnings has a window of experience not a calendar date. We are in a particular window now that cannot be assigned a day or even year The window is about qualitative change in the house that we have been living in. The house looks solid but is built in the grand unknowable mystery.

The Inca prophecies are themselves a gateway for self-transformation. And that transformation of self is an integral part of the establishment of the next pachacuti or era on Earth.http://exopolitics.blogs.com/earth_changes/2005/09/earth_changes_a_2.html

We have been given some knowing that we may use to climb out the window. This knowing is inner technology that is already OURS that we may re-member. We seek validation and as we can see, this may be confusing. we have received sound information in the sacred transmissions from lineage wisdom keepers. This is about inner and outer practice. We are the rainbow that becomes a tribe. It's about incorporating the individual and group expressions IMO.

I think the rainbow tribe is a occurring now stressing us to be whole individual partisons and partakers of earth life. As livers on the earth, knowing we are being both unique and collective (not just human collective) will lead to a brand new experience. Blending our inner individual masculine and feminine sides and embracing all livers on and living of the earth is a shift in consciousness not hard to achieve because we are already that one.

We are living our lives as in a medicine wheel and the wheel turns. Our NEW wheel cannot be described but has intimations we have already gleaned.

Q'ero Prayer
Looking behind I am filled with gratitude.
Looking forward I am filled with vision.
Looking upwards I am filled with strength.
Looking within I discover peace.
~ Q’ero Indians

IMO we as 5th level humans transcend the whole notion of war and peace.......

If ancient prophecies are true, the Earth is now approaching the culmination of a great cosmic cycle, perhaps 26,000 years in length. Earth is returning to a center point within our galaxy, the Milky Way. The significance of that return is profound. The heightened spiritual awareness of Spirit and of the natural order that this returning end-cycle is said to engender may be a primary force in bring planet Earth and our community of human Souls back into natural balance.

A vast and deep shift in our collective, human center-of-being may be coming into play during the first decades of the twenty-first century. This shift in consciousness, in turn, may mean that the modalities for conflict resolution – in a word, war - which the human community found acceptable in the twentieth century, will no longer be acceptable as the end-cycle shifts in human consciousness develop. The collective human mind, which found itself, willingly or unwittingly, manipulated into the twentieth century’s great wars – World Wars I and II, and the regional wars – may no longer allow war into its mid-space.

Before we venture into developing public interest action plans against environmental warfare, we need explore – and internalize - the deeper cosmic forces of the end-cycle we are entering on Earth.

The ancient traditions of First Nation indigenous peoples tell us our Earth is primarily an arena of the Spirit. First Nation civilizations see our Earth as humankind’s heritage and their roles as guardians of the Earth. We have turned to “Western” prophets – Edgar Cayce, Michel de Notredame – for visionary guidance on Earth changes and environmental warfare, that perversion of human technology. Now we turn to First Nation prophecies, seeking guidance to bring Homo sapiens back into balance with the processes of our Mother planet, Gaia – the Earth.

The end-cycle prophecies of the Inca and the Maya – two legendary First Nation civilizations – contain guidance and epochal insight into shifts in consciousness and the natural order that we may anticipate for our epoch............
..............What I share with you now, are not only the workings of my intellect, but deep, wordless insights I acquired decades ago. There are other First Nation traditions of Earth changes prophecy. I am drawn to the Inca and the Maya, and my insights about their prophetic traditions are what I am meant to communicate to you.

Tawantisuyu (“land of the four quarters”) held the broad reach of the Inca realm of six million souls, stretching along South America’s Andean Mountains, highlands and coast. As a formal empire, Tawantisuyu was short-lived, lasting about a century, starting at about 1438 AD, when Inca Pachacuti began the military annexation of regions surrounding the Inca heartland of Cuzco. The vicious and duplicitous assassination of Inca Atahuallpa by Francisco Pizarro on July 26, 1533 triggered an internal collapse of the formal state structures of Tawantisuyu.
The Inca had no formal written language, and their largely oral traditions impacts our access to their prophecies. Formal records and measurements were kept in quipus. Inca communications relied on systems of quipu messengers who traverse 32,000 miles of roads and paved trails.
“A quipu is an assemblage of colored knotted cotton cords... The colors of the cords, the way the cords are connected together, the relative placement of the cords, the spaces between the cords, the types of knots on the individual cords, and the relative placement of the knots are all part of the logical-numerical recording.”

With the tools of quipu and frequent quipu messengering as communication tools, the Inca built and administered a state structure and economy in a geographical area roughly the size of the United States of America.
“The Incas can be characterized as methodical, highly organized, concerned with detail, and intensive data users. The Inca bureaucracy continuously monitored the areas under its control. They received many messages and sent many instructions daily. The messages included details of resources such as items that were needed or available in storehouses, taxes owed or collected census information, the output of mines, or the composition of work forces. The messages were transmitted rapidly using the extensive road system via a simple, but effective, system of runners... The message had to be clear, compact, and portable. Quipu-makers were responsible for encoding and decoding the information.”

While these were the communication tools of the Inca economy and state administration, the Inca spiritual and prophetic tradition appears to have been largely oral. Unlike the Western and other prophetic tradition, there appears to be no single text, calendar, and hieroglyph of standard reference for the Inca prophecies (There are rumors of a prophetic Inca book that may appear in the Inca end-times).
In the place of text, there are the living Q’ero Inca prophecies.

Researcher Brad Berg has documented the moving story of how the Inca prophecies of Mosoq – the time to come - emerged into our contemporary world with the Q’ero Inca shamans. Following a 1949 earthquake in Peru, there was exposed the Golden Temple hidden under a Christian church, a prophetic sign of their re-emergence from intentional isolation since the times of the assassination of the Inca Atahuallpa.

“Dr Alberto Villoldo described how an Earthquake in 1949 underneath a monastery near Cuzco, Peru, had rent the ground asunder, exposing an ancient Inca temple of gold. This fulfilled a sign that the prophecies of Mosoq, the "time to come", were now to be shared with the modern world.http://exopolitics.blogs.com/earth_changes/2005/09/earth_changes_a_2.html

Mayan Prophecy:

Hunbatz Men tells of an ancient confederation of Native American elders made up of representatives from Nicaragua to the Arctic Circle. They have been meeting for thousands of years and continue to do so today. Before the Spaniards came the confederation decided to hide the Mayan teachings, entrusting certain families with their care. Hunbatz Men is an inheritor of that lineage. In his book Secrets of Mayan Science/Religion, he reveals teachings that mirror the Hindu and Buddhist ones of astrology, meditation, and the septenary root of creation. He speaks of Kukulcan and Quetzalcoatl, not so much in light of an expected return, but rather in terms of the possibility that each of us can attain the same exalted stage by treading the path of attaining knowledge. "To be Quetzalcoatl or Kukulcanis; to know the seven forces that govern our body not only know them but also use them and understand their intimate relationship with natural and cosmic laws. We must comprehend the long and short cycles and the solar laws that sustain our lives. We must know how to die, and how to be born." Don Alejandro Oxlaj is a seventh generation priest from Guatemala and head of the Quiche Maya Elder Council. He has traveled throughout North America, comparing the native prophecies of different tribes. In the coming year he hopes to record and publish, for the first time in 500 years, the Mayan prophecies of his people.

An interesting note to all these connections: Tibet is exactly on the opposite side of the planet from the Hopi Reservation.

The Tibetan word for "sun" is the Hopi word for "moon." The Hopi word for "sun" is the Tibetan word for "moon." The cliff paintings at Chaco Canyon and Mesa Verde are guides for Hopi clansmen to follow, and they claim to have built the snake-shaped mounds in the eastern United States. The Hopi base their existence on faith only, and their story is a fascinating tale of that faith sustaining them: "White men come, white men go, but we shall always be here." According to Hopi beliefs, this is the fourth creation of life; the three preceeding ending in destruction. Each time conflict, which is not a part of The Hopi Way, came about as men forgot or denied the plan of the Creator. The faithful were protected underground with the ant people, and the kivas of today are representations of those anthills.

The Hopi creation story is about a succession through underworlds and each of these is associated with a specific direction, color, mineral, plant, and bird.

* The First World: "Endless Space" contained the First People and was a pure and happy universe. It was destroyed by fire.
* The Second World: "Dark Midnight" was destroyed by cold and ice. The Chosen People survived in an anthill and then climbed up a ladder into the third world.
* The Third World was destroyed by floods. Spider Woman saved these ancestors by hiding them in reeds and floating them to dry land into the Fourth World.
* The Fourth World: "The World Complete." The caretaker of this world is Masau'u, The Fire God. This world is unlike the previous three, which have been blocked by waters and ice. In the past worlds they had been well-provided for, but the fourth world has proven to be harsh, with deserts, marshes, mountains, and violent weather. The Hopi say this world is now ending and the Fifth World has begun http://www.whitewolfpack.com/2011/01/inca-prophecy-eagle-and-condor.html.

Because we are the keepers and co-creators of this reality, if we ignore and dishonor the essence/spirit of the unseen, unmanifested worlds, we are actually working against nature and keeping reality from materializing. The winged ones, four-legged ones and the world of plants will not manifest if we have no respect for them. Why would they. If we kill them and cut them down, pollute them, why would they desire to manifest in this reality. If we don’t learn respect for all of creation, we could literally erase life’s participation in this dimension on Earth!

This is a hard message to share, but as humanity awakes to the spirit in all matter, I have absolute hope that we will begin to live and work in a sacred way again. We did not come this far through the burden of time and space to end it in this way. We are here to be victorious. We are here to witness and participate in the great celebration.

It is funny humanity as a whole feels that we have no impact on this reality. How can we believe so little of ourselves that we feel we are just blowing in the wind, as if by accident, just witnessing or being a victim of this reality. The big issues we face today on Mother Earth are directly related to our lack of self-esteem. Isn’t it funny that clearing up old self-esteem issues could save the Planet! Think about it! We need to realize, honor and respect our creative force and realize we are creators. We hold this reality together. We are the keepers of the Earth. When we truly honor ourselves and our awesome creative power we will again live in a sacred way where we honor all life. When we honor all live the essence/spirit of all living things will manifest............
..............We are living on the edge. We are living between worlds. How we live, the choices we make, the sensitivities we develop, and our love and honor for all life will see us through.Prophecy the eagle condor (http://www.labyrinthina.com/prophecy-the-eagle-and-the-condor.html)

Following an introduction to a Q'ero elder in 1996, a truly remarkable man, I read "Keepers of the Ancient Knowledge". A lovely book, and a good introduction to the Q'ero tradition, and also their plight high in the Andes.

When I went to Guatemala in 2000 to celebrate the Mayan new year with a group of indigenous elders, I took with me the feather of a European eagle owl, specifically because of this prophecy. I presented it to a representative of the Kogi from Colombia, hoping that a physical representation of the union would symbolise the spiritual union. During my time in Guatemala, I felt that the indigenous people of the world were going to make themselves heard, and foresaw that humanity would become polarised: those who wished for a harmonious existence with mother Earth, and those who believed in consumerism. I also had a feeling that the system was going to start kicking back. Little did I know how bad things were going to get.

Sigh.... But while the Kogi, the Hopi, the Q'ero and others are still around, there is hope for humanity and for the Earth. Difficult as it may be, we must hold onto that hope and do whatever we can to keep the wisdom of the elders alive and in our hearts. Thanks for posting
