After the European Tour, I heard that they are going to America. My Avalonian friends, better check this information in your country. I can say it is great. I did a consultation with the tibetan doctor, attended a Green Tara Puja (cleaning aura and blessing with meditation, chants and mantras), a conference about Compassion, and I will be consulting a tibetan astrologuer.
So far it has been a very intense experience. I recomend it , ......I do hope they go to USA. :)

World Tour for Inner Peace
University of the Gaden Monastery (Dalai Lama)

From October 30 to December 3 in Portugal

With the blessing of the Dalai Lama, the World Coordination System PNEUMA and co-ordination of Portugal INKARRI Multicultural Association, the Tibetan Monks of Gaden Monastery Shartse University, held in Europe and America, the 8th World Tour For Inner Peace.


The objectives of the activities they will carry out the Tibetan Monks during their tour of the year 2009-10 by the "Inner Peace" will be to encourage, revive and share the spirit of Universal Compassion, Inner Peace, Unity and Reunion of the men who different shape the Sacred Tradition of the East, America and Europe, through their ceremonies, songs and dances.


Bringing together a series of ecumenical events to religious institutions, associations and schools of humanist expression philosophical or mystical, in order to be able to establish bonds of harmony, allowing the community of all peoples on Earth.


Important to mention that for the first time some knowledge on Tibetan medicine, psychology, philosophy and astrology of Tibet diffuse itself in theoretical-practical systems through workshops / workshops and conferences which will take place in different forums and academic institutions, America and the U.S.

The main themes are the exaltation of values such as compassion, the Universal Love, Unity and Inner Peace. In March it will be held ceremonies of initiation, meditation, purification and healing energy from alternative type, sand mandalas, medicine and astrology consultations, choirs and sacred dances, based on the principles safeguarded by this culture throughout its history, promoting thus the ideal of spirituality, inner knowledge and the development and sustainability of planetary harmony.

Through the activities described above seek to establish between the participants, a bridge of light and transformation to change the way you feel.

Tasks that ancient tradition by the Monks of Tibet have dedicated themselves to cultivate.

The monks will be in Portugal from 30 October to 3 December coordinated by Inkarri (www.inkarriportugal.wordpress.com) inviting you to attend and participate in its activities with the opportunity to commune closely with a traditional culture so special when the Tibetan.

"Tibetan culture is an ancient cultural heritages of the world's richest, since it is based primarily on love, compassion and nonviolence.

The preservation and perpetuation not only benefit Tibet, but also the rest of the world.

For this reason I hope and pray that it (the world) we can present the culture and thereby contribute significantly to their development and interest.

HISTORICAL NOTES

Tibet is located in the border area of southwestern China. It has an area of approximately 1,200,000 km2.

In this region dominated by high mountains, with an average altitude of 4000m. Hence be known as the roof of the world.

It is a territory rich in natural resources, mineral and geothermal. It has over 5700 varieties of plants and a wide variety of birds and other animals.

For millennia the Tibetan Plateau remained hidden among the glaciers of the Himalayas, and is populated by warm and hospitable people, whose civilization was able to live in harmony with the natural environment.

Closed to the outside world, Tibet was regarded as a magical and mysterious country.

In 1959 it was invaded by China and until a few years ago, there were few who had the opportunity to know their full heritage of humanity.

The monks of this monastery are part of this story and come to our country, to deliver us and share their culture and tradition with seminars, a wide variety of sacred chants and healing ceremonies, and customs, clothing and aspects of daily life among others.

I hope someone, besides me, has the chance to know the tibetan monks and the glimpses of culture they bring. As I couldn't go to Tibet or India...I consider myself lucky they came to me ! :)
