The Lexus Hoverboard uses magnetic levitation to achieve amazing frictionless movement. Liquid nitrogen cooled superconductors and permanent magnets combine to allow Lexus to create the impossible

I honestly doubt they will be a huge success. Liquid nitrogen in a device that is going to be put through extreme stress / physical abuse (like going down rails, you see it bottom out / hit the ground then recover multiple times in the advertisement (they still have work to do with getting it to hover under weight / stress properly) and running it over water made me giggle. Electronics + water + device that's constantly taking impacts / dents which would cause cracks / holes for said water to get through.... How long until someone snaps one of these in half and loses a limb that gets doused in liquid nitrogen?

It's pretty cool, but I feel they're kind of misleading people. The whole park was built with magnetic track lines. It won't work on just cement.
