I do have an ability , which I'm not sure if it is my third eye
or some other 'down load' or manifestation in my head.

I usually try it when I'm in bed , and try to get in a relaxing
position , breathing in and out deeply to clear my mind.
I sometimes say "open my third eye" but not always.

Firstly I will see a spiral effect and if I'm in the right mood a
picture will appear or a motion picture , I cannot keep it in
focus for more than 10 - 20 secs then it fades away, but it
is quite dramatic at times.

The other thing I have experienced several times is a binary
download 1 & 0's and dashes flashing past quite fast. I cannot
control it and I am awake when this has happened eyes closed
and its quite surreal. This has only been going on over the last
five years or so that I am aware of, but may of unconsciously before.

I think we are just waking up to these possibilities and abilities,
that the old masters and gurus and others have always known,
The web and the fact we are using our 'chip' body constantly.
( Using/interacting with the computer and other tech ) is opening
up portals like our third eye and other abilities by default.

gives an idea , the picture more often than not is in motion like
a clip from a movie. Which makes me wonder am I looking at

The binary download is different again , it has not happened for a
while and I can only say it is weird....

Its true that there are people who can do all manner of amazing things.
With Kundalini awakening and the third eye can open as part of the k awakening, comes what is known as shidis (cant spell)
These are gifts but the serious spiritual aspirant is well advised to let them go.

Touches on a similar theme to the idea of having supernatural abilities, and its consequences... in a very specific way.

The egotistical desire to advertise the self as being spiritually gifted or special does indeed make the individual a prime target, and that person will quickly find out just how surreal and uncanny it is that other people and the myriad entities can track them down.

If that person is not careful, they will increase that risk to their mind and body, then again... some people can only learn the hard way.

I would doubt that everyone who parted with money would acquire any "gifts"
When Reiki started in USA people were spending $1000s to train to be Masters.

I reckon it would be worth paying $10,000 plus if a course showed one how to fulfill their highest potential and revealed the true nature of life.

I wasn't there myself so I don't really know what Yogamaatha was being taught. However, I am aware that if it was just the psychic aspect that had been opened up and stimulated, it is only a very small part of reaching our highest potential.

I think what you're looking here is hipnagogic images, that is a state of deep relaxation achieved right before you're entering the dream state, you have to concentrate on each part of your body, stay still very still and trick your brain into thinking you're sleep, usually the brain reacts sending false signals, a part of your body might itch or you may feel an unbearable desire to move, but if you ignore this and still do not move, your brain thinks your body is sleeping so you start hallucinating, seeing things just like your images, search in google for hipnagogic images maybe some can be similar to what you see..

Yeah if you fall into your brain's tricks and move, they will vanish instantly or if you open your eyes also.. Try to imaging you have no arms and legs and focus all your energy to your chest..
The tricky part and this is my recommendation is that if you're able to focus enough, start imagining places, a house, a beach, anything you want, if you focus right you will see it forming and little by little you will enter your own dream, but this time you chose what to dream ;) ..

There have been threads here about charging or not charging--

Having been a practitioner of several therapies, I can say it cost me thousands and much time studying, training, to qualify.
I charged a modest fee and if the person had no money I did it without charge.

Super powers well you could legitimately charge for your time, that's assuming the powers are for healing.

Recently in the news there was a holy man claimed he could walk on water---he drowned.
Who knows maybe he did walk on water several times before there was an audience.
It does not do to exhibit these powers--or you may well loose them--or worse.

One of the most important lessons of the story of Jesus for anyone at a certain 'level' is to not go about and show off your special abilities (however benevolent they may be)... this will in whatever way attract a lot of trouble, but this is, I believe, all part of earth's function where you get to be a seemingly separate entity, an 'ego' if you will, and the more the ego is built the more resistance there will be, until you truly realize you can't manage on your own as an ego.

Yep, it's pretty dangerous to be demonstrating a superpower without having reached a state of being that can protect us from negatively geared beings. Until we've developed our self enough to be safe from that, the smaller the energy footprint the safer we are. It would depend what the superpower is but another thing to consider is whether or not our physical mind is ready for it, if not, that could cause problems too.

As we purify, develop, cultivate, deprogram, live true, whatever you want to call it, these inherent abilities simply begin to arise form us, get freed up. Telepathy is one of the first ones to do so, and it's not that it activates, we've been doing it the whole time, once our awareness is clear enough we just become aware of it. It's for this reason that you couldn't pay me to get this, by observing what arises from me I can see how I'm progressing, and it's more natural, organic and safe, both form the ego trap and other beings.
