Dave McGowan, fearless conspiracy researcher and author passed away this past Sunday (Nov 22) after a long battle with cancer. A huge loss. (A bit of synchromysticism that he happened to pass away on the anniversary of JFK's death.)

An amazing researcher and truth seeker, Dave McGowan, passed away from cancer today at 12:47 p.m. McGowan produced several series of articles on topics like 9/11, the Apollo Moon missions, the Boston Marathon bombings, and the Lincoln assassination. He ran the web site The Center for an Informed America and wrote several books, including Programmed to Kill, Understanding the F-Word: American Fascism and the Politics of Illusion, and Derailing Democracy: The America the Media Don’t Want You to See. Dave opened a lot of eyes and a lot of minds with his incredible work. He will be sorely missed.

Very many thanks for posting this sad news... I was actually going to start a thread myself in tribute to him. We've just lost a real hero, one of the very best, and — of course — he may very well have been taken out.

Just nine weeks ago, on April 14, I presented a lengthy video deconstruction of the 2013 Boston Marathon incident through the Caravan to Midnight radio show/podcast. About a week later (on April 20, of all days), the nearly four-hour video presentation was uploaded to YouTube. Not long after that, someone using the username Phoenix Archangel posted an interesting comment: "John [Wells, the host of the show] always signs off with some of the best advice ever. Speaking of advice: this David McGowan fella really ought to quit smoking. With all the elitist feathers he's ruffling, he's likely to come down with a spontaneous case of hitherto undiagnosed stage 4 inoperable Pancreatic cancer."

As for Mr./Ms Archangel, he/she wasn’t too far off, though I’ve been told that it’s actually incurable small-cell lung cancer that has already spread to my liver and bones. And no, that’s unfortunately not a joke. It’s my new reality as of just a few short weeks ago, when my entire world was turned upside-down and I suddenly found myself being admitted to the oncology ward at Glendale Adventist Medical Center. Four days later, I was beginning my first round of chemotherapy infusions. The second round begins tomorrow, on Monday, June 15.

I’m still having a very hard time processing all of this. Despite not having the healthiest diet and not making the most healthy lifestyle choices, I have been remarkably healthy throughout my adult life. Until a few weeks ago, I’d never been hospitalized as an adult. Never had any surgical procedures performed. Never had a major illness or significant injury. Never broke a bone in my body. Haven’t ever been reliant on any prescription drugs of any kind. Haven’t even had a primary care physician for many, many years.

But now, literally overnight, that reality has been replaced with a painful and, if I’m being perfectly honest, terrifying new reality.

Dave was an excellent and meticulous investigator, and his work on the Apollo Moon landings in particular unearthed a number of factors I'd been quite unaware of — his presentations of the Apollo debacle were always hilarious. He deliberately used sharp and inventive humor to convey the sheer ridiculousness of many of the claims made by 'official stories'.

His integrity was unimpeachable, and his radio interviews were a delight to listen to.

I hope the post inspires all Avalon members to look into McGowan's work and share it with their friends and families.

I approached his work, initially, as a diversion from the serious nature of my personal research into the truth of the world. The first McGowan interview I came across was about the 60s and the music scene from Laurel Canyon during that time. I thought it would be a pleasant review of that era, and coincidentally enough, McGowan had a similar experience, I later learned, when he first stumbled on the information.
Both of us were shocked and dismayed to learn the truth about he 60s, the music business, Hollywood, and their close knit circle of associations with the military industrial complex.

His journalistic integrity was superior and his work on JFK, the Boston Bombing hoax, and many other false flag events is thoroughly researched and balanced. I will miss the way Dave had of making us laugh, even in the face of the serious information he was delivering.

Rest In Peace, David McGowan.
Many may not know who you are right now, but soon millions will know your work.

Very sad to lose David McGowan. Very talented researcher and writer. What really stands out is his sense of humor that he wove into his twisted narratives like a trickster snake. I'm not so sure there's much behind the Laurel Canyon rock scene (besides a lot of drugs and sex and some good music here and there) but his work on the Moon "landings" was great and his work on the Boston "bombing" was stellar. That 3 hour plus presentation he did (above) with John Wells is worth every minute. By the time he's done there's nothing left of it.

The Laurel Canyon stuff was eye-opening to me. As a child of the 60s and 70s, it was a little tough to accept our music heroes were basically the kids of the people they were singing "against." If I had read it years sooner, I may have dismissed it out of hand, but understanding how contemporary Illuminati offspring are made stars and pushed to the forefront made it easier to believe.
