Synchronicity in the mundane

My life is filled with serendipitous manifestations, perhaps everyone's life is, the only thing required is the awareness to perceive it. Awareness is a gift not to be taken for granted, it is a second sight, really, the full potential of which, my little i, cannot even fathom.

here is my latest one:
Recapitulation is a part of my daily system of growth as a human being. After reviewing some of my past thoughts and actions recently, I spent a night tossing and turning attempting to deal with the emotions that were brought up. I barely slept and needed to be up for six am.

Now, I need to share two pieces of info so the synchronicity can be understood.
My favourite movie of all times is Paul Haggis’s Crash. In October, sometime, I had found out this movie was a required part of the curriculum for my student this semester, and as she is seeing impaired, my job as part of her support team would be to watch the movie with her and be her eyes.
I had forgotten all about this on the November morning when I got up from my little ‘dark night of the soul.’

That morning I feel like I am walking around like a deer in the headlights. For the moment, my ability to anticipate the next coming minutes is not available to me. I’m a soldier on the battlefield of life who’s witnessed things I cannot comprehend fully, and more importantly, done things that revolt me.
We meet in class, she tells me immediately that she has seen the movie with her family and will not need me to verbalize it at all. I am jolted by the fact that of all days, it is this day, that I am watching Crash, and grateful that I can just sit back quietly to watch the film.

And so it unfolds before my eyes, the crisis I was facing, the pain I carried, and why, projected, floor to ceiling in HD. The understanding arrives in waves, ebbing ever so gently on my weary mind as the characters play out their script.
I recognize their failings as coming from misconceptions and ignorance, and realize this does not diminish their humanness, in fact it adds to the complexity of their character. With this new insight I forgive myself. My higher self is not finished with the lesson until it becomes absolutely clear to me just how harshly I judge myself; how I often do not extend the same kindness to myself that I hold out for others, and I learn in the interweaving stories of the film’s plot how I got to be this way - by the severity of my first judges, the parents.

I wear Crash afterglow the rest of the day.

seah! My life is a constant stream of synchronicities. If I were to tell them all I would have to spend hours every second day to recapitulate. Today on the train i checked my agenda from page 1 and there i had written some year ago:

Here’s what I wrote yesterday.

This year synchronicities have become normal. I have two ways I think of this.
1. I’m getting good at translating signals in a way I really don’t understand, but it’s consistent enough for me to know it’s real.
2. Technology has evolved enough to take advantage of this apophenia nature in me. Thru algorithms, data science, etc., it is known how to create faux synchronicity thru more then one device. Seems random to me because it came from a screen, then a conversation, then a dream. I’m seeing this as ‘thought fractals’.

I can say there are two things active in these synchronicities
1. The devices
2. The connectivity of the household – people interacting daily

This in no way is complete or correct for that matter. I knew I was going to have to go deeper along with finding links, so backburnered it.

Seah thanks for sharing your synch moment. (and being a part of my synch moment) How wonderful to have a clearing, if you will, that pulls all the pieces together like that. It tells a deeper story/benefit then my ponderings of yesterday. It’s an important piece.

Well synchronicity also happen constantly in connection with threads when I'm on the forum, check the Here and Now thread. Thing is that when it happens I want to tell it right in the posts where it happens but then I would be told :focus: all the time so I turn to the "Here and Now" but that might be exaggerated there also.

Strangely enough every synchronicity thread seems to die off rather quickly :(:confused: I've read numerous books on the topic so it would be interesting to hear what you guys have studied on the subject. Have you read f.i. "Synchronicity, Science and Soul-Making" by Victor Mansfield? I recommended it and other books in White Loves thread that just went :silent::jester:

I've not really read anything in depth on the subject, transiten. I think Jung felt that synchronicity may be coming from the same place dreams do, and have the same purpose, so it might suggest that we are in and out of 4D as we go about our days.


I also experience it in threads all the time. :bigsmile: And it certainly feels to me that during my time online, information that is pertinent to my spiritual growth, seems to fall into my lap, when I am ready for it, which is, by the way, never when I'm consciously looking for it.

A friend once told me that during a time in her life she used to receive messages from the universe on the side of transport trucks. I found that astonishing, and one day I mentioned it in an online discussion on synchronicity.
The following day I was on the bus, sitting on the side seats that face the windows, the bus had stopped at a red light, and as a glanced up a truck was stopped directly in front of the window facing me, in bold black letters it read "Beyond transformation for you". I was so truly jolted by it I never had time to see just what type of business would have such a logo.
The following day, under another bunch of mundane events, I found myself facing another truck message, in smaller writing it said, "There for you, when you need us". This time, I had the presence of mind to notice it was a moving company.

:highfive: I had a sync just like that on the train some time ago. I had been suspiscious about a herbal therapist of mine who just didn't answer the phone and I just sent an sms to a friend about him. His name is Thomas and as I looked out of the window there is this truck driving for almost half a minute at the same speed as the train with the name THOMAS in hughe letters on the...whatever it's called covering the container. I now have contact with him again :thumbsup:

The only way I can understand it now is that synchronicities are built into our reality like a form of computer program in some way. Or, I don't think interventions from your higher self or guides are involved in most of them, they just happen, and when we're aware enough we notice them. There are so many things, like connecting with someone by chance, that seem to be automatic.

It also seems like they are not necessarily beneficial or in a best interest. Just to give an example, one time I randomly got in touch with someone through an official phone call who I ended up in a relationship with. He wasn't a good influence, and dragged me down in many ways, although I was happy with him and loved him much. Then when I talked to my guardian angels, through a good medium I know, they said we weren't meant to meet in this life. I asked if we had been together in other lives, and they said, yes many, but weren't supposed to be in this life.

So it seems like although events and connections like this will always be meaningful and emotionally charged they are not always for the good.

For sure synchronicities are not a guarantee you're on the right path, you can just as well be on your way to hell as I was the 1:st time I had a series of extremely strong synchronicities involving trees. On the other hand it might have been my own inability to interpret the syncs that were actually warning me to do what I was about to do.

How much have you read about synchronicity Enola? I've been studying this phenomenon for 35 years and read a lot of literature and I don't think it's automatic in any way, it's full of life and meaning but you shouldn't "follow" synchronicities blindly and of course each and every little sync is not the lifechanging breakthrough message either.

I don't get how something that actually happened was "not supposed to happen"? As I see it if it happened what lesson you had choosen before reincarnating to learn from that relationship was the meaning of it.

I also came across a theory that synchronicities might have great impact in one phase of spiritual development and that further on they won't be "needed".

By automatic I mean in an organic way.

In that the universe has consciousness that makes things unfold in a certain way, but not necessarily as in a deliberate intervention. I think it can be, but that there are also other things involved, like like attracts like, so people with a connection tend to be in the same place at the same time.

I agree they can also come as a warning, which I've experienced many times. Sort of like red flags being thrown up. But I also think it can be more neutral, or something that happens for natural reasons that you shouldn't necessarily act on.

Via my experiences, I have some opinions of the phenomena of synchronicity. Note that I apply my opinions only to myself though I am willing to share the additional opinion as to what percentage odds I make it that a particular opinion I might have might apply to others if not all of us.

So... here is what I found true for me. At one level of my being, there are no coincidences... nothing is random and nothing happens randomly. At the conscious waking state level of my being I have found that when I achieve higher degrees of a specific "state of being" (clear and sound mind, unattached emotions coupled with enthusiasm and that I am in a well state physically) the amount of recognizable synchronicities massively increase as well as their profundity.

In other words, at this level of my being, I do not believe that I am experiencing the same amount of and profundity of synchronicities as when I am not in "the zone" - I am actually at the very least co-creating these reflections from the "reality."

These experiences are nothing short of magical for me. I have found a direct correlation to the number of and profundity of these experiences to the degree to which I am... in that precise moment - embracing life... appreciating life. My energy feels like it is producing a field where these reflections swirl up like an orgasm. In fact, I would call it a spiritual orgasm as there is a coming together of the individuated "i" with the BIG I (the reality).

Over time I have developed my ability to be in this state and indeed the most amazing synchronicities occur.

In fact, this state often creates a string of clearly related synchs where I have brought others into the beginnings of the synchronicity string such that they were able to experience the additional synchs while sharing virtually the same underlying meaning which means their experiences were on the same level of profundity as mine. In my blog I share three of my favorite synchronicity stories. There are many many more.

Thanks Sam, it's in the middle of the night but tomorrow I will give an example of a "synchronicity string" while searching for a word in a dictionnary. Some syncs really fill you up and make you feel "connected".

Synchronicity also happens on the collective level, has anyone here read "The Synchronicity Key" by David Wilcock?

Yes, syncs can be seen as "waking dreams" and astrology and other tools of divination like the I Ching and Tarot cards are also a form of synchronicity that can be used and misused as any knife....

Here we go and I don't really expect anyone to really totally follow this chain since it is strict personal and it's not until one experiences synchronicities oneself on the deep personal level that they will ring the hughe bell!

The other night I was watching a TV program about the history of old houses. The ceiling had a carving of "The flower of life" called "compasses-rose" in Swedish used by the architects. This ceiling came from an old monastery.

Next morning I notice 3 dots on our kitchen window in the exact form of Orions Belt down to the 3:d being smaller and somewhat "off". I have an earlier connection to syncs with Orion and have written a song with the symbology of Orion the Hunter. I go to the dictionnary to look up Orion and 1:st thing i see is an old cheese "tin" (cheese is "ost" in Swedish hence starting with "o") with the flower of life in the bottom!

Immediately I feel this rush "knowing" more is to come; next is page 33 and I spot "Ortogonal trajectories" which has to do with geometry and I just told my father about sacred geometry and the flower of life seen in old churches - I then see a picture from inside a big church below with no connection to the above...

Then i check the previous page of the spread and there's a view over "Orsa" a village in Dalarna close to Skattungbyn also mentioned belonging to the community and where I lived for 3 years and where my 1:st extremely powerful synchronicities started in the early 80:ies.

My eyes then fall on a picture on the next page and I see an old map of Provence and as I look closer "Marsilia" is written which is Marseille where my mother grew up. Also "Notre Dame de la Guarde" is there, the big church in Marseille which is Virgin Mary...(The pictures don't always follow the letter but can turn up on the next or former page)

Rue J'eanne d'Arc is noted although in another town, but that's the street where my mother lived in Marseille...

My 93 year old father also notices these syncs and I again tried to explain the phenomenon "Acasual connecting Principle" as I realize that between "ost and Orsa", "orsak" "cause" - is explained (of course the traditional cause and effect)

The lake of Orsa is also mentioned and I just watched a music TV show sent from a tent close to the lake with Kalle Moraeus a musiscian I met when i lived there. This time Doug Seegers a country singer who was picked up from the street in the US by Jill Johnsson a Swedish country singer, was on the show.

His fiddler is a woman who's father had visited Orsa and had been given fiddle lessons from Kalles father that she also had learned! She even had a letter her father had written to Kalles father who sadly has passed away.This is the first time I experience a synchronistic event being shown in a regular entertainment show. Kalle looked absolutely flabberghasted. This struck a chord in me and I cried myself through Dough's performance, he seems to be the genuine kind.

I play swedish folkmusic on fiddle and also in the 70:ies I recorded my translation of Me and Bobby Mc Ghee and Kris Kristoffersson was in Stockholm and played the guitar. The rest is not the caréer I was hoping for, long story...I later learned he was censored from being played in the US because of his criticism of the Vietnam War. I was heavily engaged in the protests and we made a record dedicated to the Vietnamese Movement.

I turn the page and there is the picture of Per Oscarsson an actor who is on TV every Christmas Eve...the day before I talked to a singing colleague, Eva who had never seen this show in spite of her 63 years! This is extremely rare since the Swedes almost watch Donald Duck, Per Oscarsson and Karl-Bertils Christmas Eve like orthodox Christians go to church. She also lives in Halland from where the above mentioned cheese "tin" with the flower of life comes.
My father who has been a recording engineer has met Per Oscarsson and they are both Aquarians like Tage Danielsson who made the 3:rd film although they are both on the other side.

I go to another dictionnary for Orion, and on the 1:st spread there is a note about Origenes, who believed in reincarnation but his teachings were banned and excluded from the Bible, as references to astrology in 550AD something, and on the next page a hughe picture on a wooden sarcophage of an Egyptian pharao.....

....in my mind I think "everything cannot be connected here" although i have strong feelings in connection with Egypt...I turn the page and there is the mummy of Ramses11 and next to it a medieval painting of the death of Virgin Mary! The day before we had talked about the "Waffel-day" when the secularised swedish pple eat waffles when in fact it is "Vår Fru dagen" = The day of "Notre Dame" which is Virgin Mary.

Many years ago we wrote a political doggerel about inequality between men and women and how from first moment babies are treated differently depending on their gender. We called it "Ramses11" since "doggerel" is "ramsa" in Swedish.

I will stop here, there were some more syncs in the chain but that will not add to the meaning of this. And what is the meaning?

Ooops here's more, churchbells started to chime on radio as I was ending this and now there's a woman mentionning Marseille in connection with the horrors in France...

Well it's a tricky thing to explain in what way this chain is connected to the dictionnary, my life experiences and what's going on in the exact moment I write this...

The universe is a hologram where everything is reflected in everything...also i think when you start to notice/experience this phenomenon you make certain choices and align to certain mental/emotional formations (Rupert Sheldrake.)

Also our "higher self" the soulgroup you belong to can nudge you to turn your head, turn on the radio etc in a specific moment to "create" a sync.

Some syncs also are planned out by you and your soulgroup before reincarnating as I mentioned above, to make you take certain steps at certain times...

@ Sam Hunter, I enjoyed your synchronicity story of numbers. Funny, I've had conversations with people about number phenomenon and everyone seems certain that it is happening because you have become aware of the number 19 and that is where it ends, but I disagree. I mean 19 doesn't recur for me on a regular basis.

@transiten, your chain of events is like a never ending web that just reconnects back to itself, so amazing, really. Thanks for sharing.
