This is very appropriate with what is happening today and we have the exact two
memes going on over the last decade & longer. Zombie movies and TV series all
over the place , and the ancient conflict within Islam of the two ancient traditions,
Sunni and Shia.

Just like Northern Ireland , which the song is referring and reflecting on,when the
fight basically boiled down to another historic clash of religion Catholics v's
protestants for rights and equality between the two opposing loyalist and republican
factions. I have been watching several vids about the 'troubles' as it was referred
to regularly in the press and by politicians.

This does not seem to change and I can see echoes of that conflict on hold for now
as the warring parties are sharing government roles , so compromises can be
achieved , its whether they hold together for the long term ? This has happened
constantly over the centuries rival factions taking polar opposite views on policy
then they end up in conflict verbally and public unrest or worse civil war.

There is hope if the web can be kept alive and free as more people from different
walks of life and traditions. Its hard to demonise the Russians as they once did and
still try on the BBC , CNN ,FOX etc when we have access to news outlets like RT
and other news sources around the world.

As Alex say the next battleground is the 'INFO WARS' and cyber attack and crime is
the new front line and as Hillary and others have said the west is losing yet another
war analogy and after wiki leaks and Snowden billions are no being spent to 'beef
up' our defences against 'cyber terrorists' and 'rogue states' . Where have we heard
that before ? Uhm !

Pray for daily reminders that each individual is a person with hopes and dreams and a future. What is going on in Syria is something awful and beyond imagination... We can only hope for peace for them in 2016. The exile , especially when imposed by violence, is a trauma that will never be erased completely . The generosity of the welcome can blur the pain of losing family. It'not always simple to left all behind...

But it is a human duty to try. :grouphug:
