This afternoon and shortly after contemplating why the old, old elite don't seem to die off, my daughter called me over to see an ad that had appeared on her Bejeweled game for a company called Alphaeon Healthcare.

The ad was odd-creepy and wasn't really clear about what it was advertising...here's the press release for the "First Self-pay Lifestyle Healthcare Company".

The majority of member physicians are plastic surgeons, followed by ophthalmologists, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, dermatologists and aesthetic dentists.

Something very Stepford about it. And they have coined a new phrase for the non-peons to flaunt, the "Self-pay Lifestyle".

A friend of mine is a plastic surgeon in L.A. and at one point he was dabbling in HGH and other types of hormone therapy...but this seems to be a bit more full service. Neurologists? Orthopedic surgeons?

And then there's this (http://www.foxnews.com/health/2015/12/02/new-anti-aging-drug-could-extend-human-life-span-to-120-years.html): [B]Diabetic drug 'slows aging process and increases lifespan,' could extend lifespan to 120 years.
