A new campaign by the NSW government that uses a stoned sloth to ward teens off marijuana has been mocked on social media, with some declaring the advertisement "an early Christmas present".

The "you're worse on weed" campaign's first clip shows a human sized sloth named Delilha struggling to learn at school, accompanied by the tagline, "when you realise you should have hit the books and not the bong".

You can always tell it's a bunch of people that are absolutely clueless to what it is they are trying to preach about when you see things like that. If it helps - everyone is laughing at it - no ones taking it seriously. They HAVE been amping up the busts significantly tho - making it more difficult / expensive for people that seek it's medicinal values to get a hold of.

i have heard how Cannabis/Weed is great of depression/anxiety or dealing with mental and social...i wish it became legal in Australia for my treatment. thought of going to Physiologist who is a doctor, they might put me on those pills and plus every day this popup in my head "sick/tired of this world"...every event happening or issue occur will comes to that statement "tired of this ****/world" how the world is running interaction between people. not everyone on mainstream can understand how i really feel but only people in non-mainstream like this forum know how i really feel. I'm starting to looking into suicidal.

After having a bad weed habit for several years, I can tell you that my life is SO MUCH BETTER without smoking weed!!!! Pot did turn out to just be a green bitch for me. So glad I am FREE!!! Free of weed, alcohol, sugar, cigarettes and drugs! I did feel like a stoner sloth.

Yeah, the herb is not for everyone...


I am almost completely opiate resistant (a fun fact to find out when you've broken your knee) & the herb is the only thing other than aspirin / Ibuprofen that I've found for pain/discomfort.

Plus I've replaced alcohol with it, much healthier.

My wife however is the same as althena, it's not for her (though it never has been, so maybe a bit different); we are all custom models & that is why I think prohibition is a travesty, it keeps items out of the hands of people it could really help.

That's not my case Target, I've been smoking since I was 15, the only time it gave me anxiety was in Amsterdam with a very powerful strain, I had to walk around the block 4 or 5 times to clear my head.

I've got about the same experience as you, except I've never found anything except HUGE amounts of edibles that gave me a bit of anxiety.
