I wish you all a great Christmas vacation with lots of peace! PS... I was driving to see family tonight and hit a patch of 'black ice' on the highway... lost traction and started sliding side to side, and finally slowed down enough to get back under control, just in time before slipping off the road into an embankment. Quite the 'hair raising' experience...:scared:

Hello, Everyone — Mara and I were up very early today (4 am). I realized that all her Christmas bones were still in the freezer, so the poor :dog: has nothing to eat :facepalm:

(Having a little trouble explaining this to her at the moment!)

My very best wishes to everyone. Thanks to you all for everything you've contributed this year, and continue to do so. The forum's in extremely good shape, and all of you have made it that way, day in and day out.
I don't celebrate, but I'll be greeting the moon!:cocktail: Me neither! Maybe all of us who don't celebrate, or choose not to this year, can kind of celebrate that together.

Some of us (Joe Sustaire (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/member.php?23860-Joe-Sustaire) and Foxie Loxie (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/member.php?28285-Foxie-Loxie) come to mind :bearhug::bearhug:) have lost their very dear loved ones this year, so Christmas may be pretty strange. Not everyone has had an easy year. Let's keep them all in our minds, as for some folks Christmas can be a difficult reminder of who may no longer be with them.

The future is always ahead of us all, and no matter what may have happened in the past, there are wonderful people around on Planet Earth, and that, and the marvelous, extraordinary human potential, is one of the things that keeps us all going in tricky times. Let's be there for one another right now, for anyone who may need it as they read this.

Dinner for one -
THE classic, every New Year's eve on German television.
What I found kind of funny, it's shown in the original English version, no subtitles, nothing, and everybody in Germany knows (and probably loves) it, but here in England nobody seams to know it ... I'm trying to change that.

Story:
It's Mrs Sophie's 90th birthday and as every year she wants to celebrate with her honourable friends. The only problem is, all her friends have passed on over time but butler James is used to help out with this problem.

I am a big late in wishing as my Christmas Eve and Day had a major interruption. My almost 89 yr old Mom had to go via paramedics to ER then ICU. I wound up wishing people Merry Christmas in the hospital which was FULL! She is improving but needing observation. Blessings to you all this holiday season! Be thankful for your health. AFvRf8PfpKw
