Former Israeli central banker and now Vice Chairman of the Federal Reserve Stanley Fischer said Wednesday he sees four interest rate hikes this year.

The end result of this statement is that China's Shanghai Composite was closed after just 30 minutes of trading overnight. The index crashed 7 percent on the open and could not get off the floor.

WalMart the largest corporation in the world, gets mostly all clothes from China , every item says either made in China or made in Mexico, and Wally world is the working mans headquarters... Although it looks like an economic cold war (they want us to think it is even though it is not, because they are in a state of high degree of false/deception), I think that what they commonly try to do on the dark side is to commonly flip everyone quickly over into "deep water" to strengthen the slavery and control on mankind. On the bright side they allow this to happen to cleanse the system of all of the false in order to allow new fresh air of truth into the structure of this civilization. False high density bubbles must burst, it's a good thing. So the dark side wants this to have a door closing more limiting impact for mankind towards bondage, fear and separation, while the bright side wants this to have a door opening less limiting impact for mankind towards freedom, love and oneness. And we belong to those on the bright side. :thumbsup:

What I am hoping this means though, is that the negative momentum is so weak by now, that this is a sign that it is truly shifting over to positive momentum, like a dam breaking... Guys like David Wilcock have been telling about that to occur for quite some time now... *hope*

The yuan is trading at $0.12 to the dollar and falling. China still cannot feed 30 % of its population and a majority live in poverty. Far more than percentage wise than any country.

More than 82 million people in China live below the poverty line, a senior official has said.

Zheng Wenkai said that poor Chinese people live with less than $1 (£0.63) a day and added that the number would rise to more than 200 million if international standards of poverty were applied.

"The poverty-stricken population not only suffer from low income but also face various difficulties in getting drinking water, roads, electricity, education, medical care and loans," news agency AFP quoted him as saying during a press conference.

"It's a tough nut to crack. Poverty is a weak point for our goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects by 2020."

Zheng, who is vice director of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development, explained that the majority of poor Chinese live in inadequate structures, often in areas prone to natural disasters.

According to a report by Wei Shangjin, chief economist of the Asian Development Bank , the number of Chinese people living under poverty line is of more than 400 million, or 30% of the population.

Here is an aside which may not be an extension of the above information but something to consider in parallel. Business is slow the first week of January usually; however, I notice upon visiting Wallmart and K-mart this week that there seemed to be very few people in the stores. Also, the merchandise seemed to be Ho Hum! It suddenly occurred to me that there was no music on the P.A. system which would normally spark up the shopping adventure considerably. Projecting my own situation as a retiree onto the atmosphere, I thought that with the cost of everything going up (utilities, insurance, etc.) people were left with almost no discretionary income for purchases. This would cause a backup all along the way to slow business for China.

Amor, there's no doubt there is a global recession occurring. This is what is behind most of China's pain. It's not just less iPhones that are being made, it's across the board.

Also my 1st paycheck of the year was reduced by $200, because of ObamaCare. I believe I am now paying healthcare costs for a small army of Americans who now work part-time at 2 jobs with no benefits.

The US is squeezing the middle class into oblivion. Traditionally, that's were most of the consumer spending came from in the past, but the US middle class is no longer the majority in America.

There are dangers in taking statistics at face value...

China is beginning to suffer from the diseases of affluent western economies:
Diabetes, obesity and stroke.
That isn't consistent with a population that is under-nourished.

All these statistics are an artefact of the (well known problems) of defining poverty in terms of the US dollar.

China has been consistently and relentlessly devaluing it's currency over the last few years.
This is part of the reason for it's huge competitiveness and consistently growing economy.

I pertinent question is.. how much rice & veggies (food generally) can be bought in China with the equivalent of 1 US dollar ?
It wouldn't surprise me if it was enough to feed someone for a week.

The question is : was it a nuke ?

The (possibly incorrect) assumption is that it's USA doing this to China.
There was some commentary last year that these bombings were an extortion
attempt; to make China stop devaluing it's currency (which, perhaps, is seen as
harmful to the USA economy)

The second suspect is Israel. Israel is implicated in both the nuking of the twin towers
during 9/11 and in the detonation of an underground nuke causing the tidal wave that
devastated Fukishima.... according to Benjamin Fullford et al.

Retaliatory attacks on USA military bases in Japan were reported following
the initial nukes detonated in China.

Obviously, this is very, very serious.
If you think about all the provocations suffered by the Russians in 2015.
And about the *actual* nukings (plural) of China....
It's like, someone is trying really hard to kick off WW3.

It seems to me that the people pushing for war with Russia & China are
completely unconcerned with the magnitude of the consequences.
That they actually want to play Russian Roulette with live ammo.

For some reason, i keep thinking about the Georgia Guidestones 'commandment'
to keep the global population down to half a billion. (1/14th of it's current size)

The other thing that keeps popping into my mind is the question of whether
the 'people' pushing for WW3... are they human beings, or not ?

It would be convenient for a foreign, alien party, perhaps looking enviously
at planet Earth, to have the residents wipe themselves out.
Of-course, this requires that aliens are controlling (some fraction of) the elites.
