Weird - have tried to log-on here - initially my logon name is missing (then magically appears after a few reattempts - The Connection was Reset and the page drops). It's not just Avalon - (plus BIN and VT - major problems - which might be NZ (or my computer), - all other non alternative media sites seem fine). Am either getting a "Try again" message, OR half the website content is missing, or it's reduced to text only??

I've been having problems with YouTube all night. Tried several browsers with same results.

Anyone else seeing this?

Also take a look at Helvetic's thread The Continuing Search For The Truth (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?1383-The-Continuing-Search-For-The-Truth&p=1037985#post1037985) where he just recently posted a YouTube video.

If you click within the blank box the video does play, however you'll notice that all video controls are missing.

I don't see any problems with any of the videos posted from an earlier date/time.

I told you I've suspected a few "psyTrolz" and they are snooping, but most of the "love stuff" we give off, messes with their ill intent(they are bored) so they have to do homework and I also suspect, make copies. Google, Windows 10 embeds in video creation program now on YT, and other sites. I use Win 7, and refuse to go into the droid spy daily snoop programs. There has to be some sort of "normal personal charecter privacy" programs in the world, and I'm gonna find them. I'd rather have a foreign country spy on me, then to have America, because the intent to harm the citizen's right to free speech here in this so-called Democratic Republic of the people. The mean to stop all flow of info on UFO's, modern technology, and educational white washed history to hide the genocidal beginnings of this nation.

You can't wipe out the pain of those, upon whose backs this country was built upon, unless you genocide them to preserve "His-Story."
The battle of good vs evil, truth vs deceit, ill intent vs good intent physically and spiritually, is a battle that we are in.

I'm not seeing the specific problems described in the above posts on my local system (a Debian Linux box, using Firefox), and I'm not seeing any particularly interesting and unusual broad scale attack on "alternative" sites. Various specific attacks, confusions, breakages, and problems, specific to particular sites, technology, users, whatever, come and go, over the days, months and years, ... as has been the case since the dawn of Internet time.

It seems that I may be experiencing a unique problem here locally.

I am still experiencing the same problem as I posted HERE (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?88221-14-Jan-2016-Alternative-Media-Server-Outages-Are-We-Under-Attack&p=1038005&viewfull=1#post1038005) and HERE (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?88221-14-Jan-2016-Alternative-Media-Server-Outages-Are-We-Under-Attack&p=1038008&viewfull=1#post1038008) and I am using Ubuntu Linux (also Debian) with Chrome and Firefox (same results on both).

Although I have not encountered any error notices, I am now wondering if something may have installed incorrectly during my latest update session.

I have never encountered a problem such as this. Would you have any ideas or suggestions on what to look for?

Deleting all browser data (cookies, cache, etc) and restarting the browser had no effect.

OK I found the culprit: Adblock Plus.

Problem:

malwaredomains (http://www.malwaredomains.com/?p=4002)

An accidental block of a valid domain in yesterday's update [14 JAN 2016]. Please download the new files to fix.

Solution:

For those using Adblock Plus you will need to perform a Manual Update:

1. Click on the Adblock Plus icon.
2. Click on Options.
3. Under the [Filter lists] tab click on [Update now]

Thank you all for your helpful advice and feed back - Harley, I think you nailed it (I use adblocker and only just recently installed 2 x Firefox updates, the first being notably slow) - failing that, could be a local problem or my PC - all seems to be fine now.

I'm not having any issues on my laptop running windows 7, but I have encountered problems on ipad when opening threads here that have a lot of media embedded within them. I think it's the tablet though. I waited years before downloading any new software for it, but finally had to upgrade to ios9 because some apps would not work, now it's rather slow and it crashes every now and then.
