Despite the figure was a bit away in the distance, I was able to watch the shadow figure for about two minutes and took some images of the strange phenomenon before then the aircraft slowly passed it.

To me, the shadow figure looks like a robot-like man or Michelin man but honestly I have no idea what it was, maybe it was just a rare cloud formation, said Nick.

Did Nick captured a rare natural sky phenomenon at 30,000ft or he witnessed something extraordinary, something from another world, that goes beyond the human capacity to understand what it could be?

Not a great comparison, the angle to horizon is vastly different between the two - in post#3 image you cannot even see the horizon to compare, I still see that the clouds in your OP may well only be a few hundred feet off the ground.

At that great distance, that 'guy' would have to be at least 50-100 feet tall, to look that big... to my eye anyhow. They appear to be flying several hundred feet above that cloud-cover.

Edit: Also the guy in the story said he had a few minutes to observe this 'guy'... If 'he' was close to the plane/jet they would have passed 'him' in just a few seconds, with the speed they would have been travelling... which also tells me that 'he'/it was at a greater distance.

What is the distance between the camera and the cloud cover? What is below the cloud cover? what is the elevation of the land? What is the terrain like? We don't know any of these ... makes it a bit tricky to say anything with any certainty, really. All that said, Occam's razor (while I don't really agree with the principle except after certain other reasoning) becomes somewhat relevant in the overall evaluation, I'd say.

Sent into us by JOE reader Nick O'Donoghue from Bandon, this peculiar picture was supposedly taken while the Corkman was flying back to Ireland for Christmas on an EasyJet flight from Austria via Gatwick.
A similar mysterious plume was observed in January 2014, knowledge of the flight path, and the time of the photo allowed the exact power station to be tracked down.

It's likely that a similar finding can be made in this case if the photo time is known.

If you remove one of the plumes from the "robot" figure, it becomes clearer:

A possible candidate is the Doel power station in Belgium, which is roughly on the Vienna-Gatwick route, and has two cooling towers. And has been observed to produce similar "legged" clouds before. Here's one from ground level.

However there are several similar power stations, and only knowing which flight he was on, and what time the photo was taken, will solve the puzzle.

Another power station along the route is the Großkrotzenburg power plant in Germany. This seems like the most probably one to me.

It does appear this is an atmospheric phenomenon due to a cold winter-time day over Europe with a low cloud cover (although not fog) that was still higher up than the top of the assumed power-plant cooling towers which generated vapor plumes.
