This is a short 4-minute video lifted from the documentary Crazywise.

Here, Gabor Mate discusses the myths around normality in relation to our current society.

I hope that this can open up a dialogue between us all for finding a way in which we can truly look after each other and care for each other at the deepest level possible.

My love to you all

Beautifully said. It's rare that I listen to something or someone that I agree with and understand totally. But I do here.

Today I was just thinking about the differences and similarities between people with aspergers and sociopaths, as they actually have many similar overlapping traits, many of which can come across as service to self rather than service to others, at an initial glance. We are perhaps conditioned to think that people who are sociopaths are so by choice and evil design, but people who have aspergers 'cannot help it' it's not their fault or choice. I think that if we can all have a far greater understanding and depth of acceptance of each other, despite all our foibles and greater character 'flaws' or 'defaults' and learn to integrate these and make qualities out of them, then we will benefit as individuals and humanity as a whole.

This man speaks truth. I repect this truth. I speak from my own personal experience!

I couldn't agree more and thus the value in loving self enough to get past one's own ego issues. :)
