There is no such thing as "free energy." Energy is neither created nor destroyed - merely changes its form. And if ever humanity did tap into an endless source of "free energy," the waste heat generated from all the mechanical work done with that "free energy" would destroy the Earth. Because there is no simple way to transport that excess heat away. The biosphere's temperature is driven by the Sun. Any substantial increase from another source would doom the planet and kill all life.

free energy means you dont pay for it with money or anything else. "energy cannot be created nor destroyed can only be transformed from one form to another" Heard of this from mainstream education. not interested though

Not what most people refer to as "zero point free energy."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_energy
In pseudoscience:
Free energy device: a hypothetical perpetual motion device that creates energy, thereby contradicting the laws of thermodynamics
As I pointed out, what ever you use that "free energy" for, involves waste heat.
Fly? Agitate air molecules.
Power a machine with moving parts? Friction.
Anything you do involves waste heat... unless you also find a miraculous "zero friction" technology. (Which would negate the need for "Free energy"!)
Imagine 7+ billion people suddenly able to harness "free energy" boundlessly.

Quick reference:

"All of the many forms of energy are convertible to other kinds of energy, and obey the law of conservation of energy which says that energy can be neither created nor be destroyed; however, it can change from one form to another."

(Lucky break - if we're "beings of energy" we can't be destroyed! We just leave our electrically powered gas processing water filled meat bags when they break down.)

The total ecosystem including the linkages all the way to galactic centre (and beyond) IS a free energy device. The trick is to become a functional element in the total system. That is how to utilise 'free energy'. 'Civilised', western humans have been bam-booze-led into thinking that we are something separate from 'nature' and into thinking we can choose to live a life disconnected from the total systems. Hubris that will be their ultimate downfall. IMHO of course...

No, they're not.
Ecosystem - (Biology) ecology a system involving the interactions between a community of living organisms in a particular area and its nonliving environment.
Order decays into disorder.
ENTROPY (in cosmology) a hypothetical tendency for the universe to attain a state of maximum homogeneity in which all matter is at a uniform temperature; a state of disorder, or a hypothetical tendency toward such a state.
Humans harnessing energy to do work always involves entropy, and inherently wasteful. Heat flows to cold, not vice versa - which "free energy" implies.
"Free Energy Device" is synonymous with a perpetual motion machine.
Perpetual motion -1. Also called: perpetual motion of the first kind motion of a hypothetical mechanism that continues indefinitely without any external source of energy. It is impossible in practice because of friction
2. Also called: perpetual motion of the second kind motion of a hypothetical mechanism that derives its energy from a source at a lower temperature. It is impossible in practice because of the second law of thermodynamics

On the other hand, if you're referring to the benefits of doing more with less so more can enjoy versus doing less with more so few can enjoy, that's fine.
Prosperity is better than poverty.

John Searl's machine is a real possibility and it created cold, as well as antigravity... there are too many interpretations to predict every possible outcome... and besides infinite energy could potentially mean infinite free air conditioning... (half joking)
btw I don't think "free energy" means you don't have to pay, you still have to buy the unit, or build the solar array, or capture the hydrogen and oxygen, etc... it means that less energy is going into a device or mechanism then is what is being output... i.e. over efficiency, overunity, "free energy" ... an old mill water wheel is technically a form of "free energy" i.e. the effort and labour to build the water wheel vs the energy that will be captured for ever after...
And that is how it should remain, (a measurable observation of input vs output...) Sometimes the observer may be unable to observe how it is happening, but it can't negate the observation and careful recording of accurate measurements, of input / output devices...
Imagine a world full of Searl machines... it would be like Star Wars, a chicken in every pot and a nuclear reactor in every home... (or one of those whirly devices of his... giving off free cooling and trying to float up to your ceiling...)
