Terry Wogan admitted to David Icke to being a "bit sharp" in their first interview, and as far as I'm aware they did come to cordial understanding. David Icke in subsequent interviews has said that interview was the making of him. When you think of it, it was probably karmically necessary for Icke to undergo this, given all that Icke has achieved since.

On a more superficial note I genuinely miss Wogan's banter on the radio during my drive to work in the mornings. Often he would have me (and other motorists I would often notice) in stitches.

His 'replacements' on the Radio 2 morning slot in my opinion just don't get it, and are a very poor replacement for the Greatest Breakfast DJ Ever, No Arguments Allowed. At that delicate hour in the morning you need a expert to do it right. One that doesn't become unlistenable after a few minutes, or try too hard, or play too much 80s music, or laugh at their own rubbish jokes.

This is Terry Wogan reflecting on some of his interviews and he introduces it saying
that he did tell David that he may have been to hard on him . But there is no sign
he understood what he was saying in 1991 and later when this review show was
aired as he quips at the end saying quote from vid "David has gone onto a hugely

In this follow up interview David was far more experienced and was able to explain
a bit more , though it was only a short interview, what he went thru following his
first appearance on the show and how he was exposing hidden agendas, which still
went over Terry's head. But then it still goes over many peoples heads as well.
