A List Of The Missing

There's been something that has been on my mind for awhile, and I thought that this would be a wonderful source for people to get their word out or maybe help pass on and help someone else with the aid of the wonderful people that are here on Avalon.

I invite anyone who would be interested to post information about someone who is missing and what information they would have in reference to it.

I will also be putting one up shortly, after I compile what I can about the missing person.

Thanks Olgraybear, it too concerns me. Of equal concern I have noticed is that there does not seem to be any one place that accrues the information on an objective basis that national and is available to the public. Seems plenty of sites where people need to have a say on what happens to people that are listed missing, but i would like to know how many exactly and location of where they went missing from - including ages. There is the odd website that cites people missing by state.

I understand that it is a difficult task due to many things, namely not really being missing at all when someone chooses to wander off for their own reasons, and not bothering to tell anyone so nothing nefarious there. However if a person cant be found and are listed missing, then they are in fact missing - for whatever reason.

(Perhaps the fusion centres may be able to assist on this) kidding.

Here in Italy, there are increasing cases of missing adolescent girls. One, a 15 year old, last month in Puglia found dead, (strangled, nude, and violated sexually), in the bottom of a well.

Today, there are reports of an arrest and an accusation of homocide though no corpse has been found yet.
