The awakening peace process is not only about making us free, but the animals too.

This is heartbreaking. Reminds me of Beethoven's Fidelio. . . . . what have humans done??

I've been working up the courage to watch this since I got home from work yesterday and saw your thread, Whitelove.
I know it's going to me make cry. :'(

Wonderful, many thanks WhiteLove.
I wonder how we will respond when they stop experimenting on us, and let us out into our natural environment! 0.o

All this sentimentality, but how many of us here are still eating animal corpses? Right now I feel like leaving this & all other forums. . . .

Indeed. Animal liberation needs to be across the board and it starts with our personal choices.

Whilst I applaud the concept of Chimp-Haven, this video sure is bitter-sweet.
These wild animals are kept in cages and prodded and probed for 50 long years. It is so depressing.
How many years of "retirement" can they truly enjoy?
Why are we still experimenting on this wild animals and keeping them in cages?
Animal cruelty runs so deep in our species.
As Akasha notes,
Animal liberation needs to be across the board and it starts with our personal choices.
I can only make small personal choices, otherwise I get overwhelmed and too sad...
Thanks for sharing the vid!
