Today my laptop with Vista installed and Norton Antivirus, will not let me scroll on any pages. I tried Chrome and it no longer provides updates for Vista and same issue. Tried to use Firefox and log on to Avalon and had the same problem. Is anyone else having issues and what might be the work around? The new computer build can't be here soon enough as I'm typing here on Samsung tablet....

I still use windows XP SP3 with Mozilla Firefox latest version and Norton Internet Security for browsing the Internet. Though I get no updates for windows XP, all works fine as usual.
Don't think your problem is due to windows vista. Maybe the graficsdriver is too new. You might try an older version. You can try also removing the graficsdriver and let Vista replace it with its own standard VGA-driver. Is the problem also in save mode?

@ mojo.
If you have the habit to let your computer go in sleep/hibernate mode so close it and start again.
If you have a laptop and you can not close it then remove the battery, press the start button a few times and hold for about 10 seconds, reinsert the battery and start. That should do it.
If you have a stationary take off the power for about 10 seconds. Press the start button while the power is off, connect the power and restart.

If you can find one, get another server. But if you can't find one, then get to a store online and go manually pick up if they still have them on the shelf a windows 7, and keep it, don't update because the new win 10 has a sneak in, so make sure as you install(if you find one) that you 'uncheck the chrome because it also has a backdoor for win 10. They merged and so did yahoo, but my "Avast keeps the win 10 quarantined" MicroSoft gave it to me free. The best things in pc life "r-not-free." Just another 3rd party cookie sellout to find out where you spend your money and your life patterns/algorithms.

If you run win 7 or win 8 and have a white windows icon (ready for win 10) on your taskbar, then Microsoft is already spying on you, on the pretext that they need to check if your machine is ready to run win 10.
