That's a really really good little interview. Yes, McAfee does nail all the issues, totally.
I'm going to change the thread title, with your assumed okay... because (unfortunately! :) ) this isn't 'case closed' at all.
It may need to be merged with the existing The Apple vs. FBI case (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?88991-The-Apple-vs.-FBI-case) thread, but the interview is so strong as a general piece on personal security that it might work best as a standalone thread. Let me think about it a little.

Going out on a limb here and I have no evidence to back this up but I feel like dramas like this unfold for the media to go crazy over, and for us to 'pay close attention to' because the fact of the matter is that the NSA sure as sh*t has technology and satellites to record everything that a cell phone does already and can hack into any cell phone using satellites, cell phone towers etc. I am no techie, but I do understand that one of the most powerful and iconic technological companies in the world who just so happens to produce the most popular and worshipped phone on the planet, is not having a tango with the FBI over this one stupid phone, without some other backdoor courtship taking place.
One piece of evidence I have for this, is that there are the huge NSA database facilities they are building around the nation. You can bet that these new places are where they store every scrap of cyber intelligence they can collect on a worldwide scale. Edward Snowden, whom I have actually come to respect very much, could very well be in on all this too, or is used as a pawn to have brought this issue to the surface when it suited the powers that be. He alerted the world of what the NSA was doing, pissing off a lot of people. Apple responds by putting new encryption services on their phone. Through a false flag event like the San Bernardino shootings (or not false flag), they now are court marshaling Tim Cook. I mean where does Obama weigh in on this issue?
From my perspective, which may seem far removed for some, this is all apart of a drama that the media-industrial-military-complex would like us to see - as if to let us believe that there are 'champions of good' out there trying to stand up to this sort of privacy infringement and give us a false hope that we can 'battle' this attack on the constitution.
What I am trying to say is that this is not about the information on the phone. The FBI has that already trust me. If this really were about the victims and the fight against terrorism, they would have found some hacker in their employ by now to do it. But this whole dramatic landscape of apple v. FBI is IMO just another american farce.

For sure the Gov and PTB already have backdoor technology. And although Apple says they don't have this and would need to create it, well...I doubt that seriously.
But the larger point to all of this stuff, just like the recent Windows 10 crapola, is that PTB (whomever or whatever they are) want LEGAL and public acquiescence to their Big Brother world. Of course this needs to be STOPPED!

I quite agree with McAfee. There isn't ANY form of digital technology that cannot be hacked, it's the nature of the tech.
However, I do not think this has anything to do with our treasured privacy. Especially as the phone was locked whilst in custody of the Feds now making the request.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is just another alphabet agency owned by the Bankster Elite, the Rothschilds et al. It doesn't matter to them really, who wins this argument as they win-win throughout.
If the people win and have their privacy protected, then they sign away their privacy to the Corporation. This in turn denegrates the role of Government which will become subserviant to the Corporation also. The Banksters stand over all three groups, they will achieve access either way.
If the Feds win, then they stand over the Corporations and the Corporations will be forced to comply with the laws of Government.
Another sign of the intent this issue raises is that of Bill Gates, the microsoft guy, who want to set legal PRECEDENT by only doing this "lawful hack" this time only. Scum bag to the end.
All in all, we are watching a complex legal fraud taking place on a global scale by the manipulation of emotive need of the individual. We want our privacy. We will not achieve our goal.
