From the Los Angeles Times, High-profile attorney Ted Olson joins Apple's fight against FBI terror probe (http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-ted-olson-joins-apple-fight-against-fbi-20160218-story.html).

Ted Olson is an insider's insider. His resume includes:

Assistant Attorney General in the Reagan administration
Legal counsel to President Reagan (and Vice Pres. GHW Bush) during the Iran-Contra affair's investigation
Handled Jonathan Pollard's appeal, who had been convicted of selling government secrets to Israel
Handled George W Bush's appeal to the Supreme Court in the 2000 Presidential election
Told the world of the infamous "boxcutters" that his wife Barbara reportedly told him were used in the reported 9/11 hijackings
Solicitor General under President Bush
Successfully challenged California’s Proposition 8, the measure that banned gay marriage, before the Supreme Court

Ted Olson is one of "them". He is a longstanding and key attorney behind the Bush crime family and Zionist powers.

Olson is now one of the attorneys on record for Apple, supporting Apple's challenge of the FBI's order to provide a version of their Apple iPhone 5c operating system that would enable unlocking a phone belonging to one of the San Bernardino terrorists.

In this Youtube video, Olson was interviewed last week by CNN Money on this Apple case:

Something is going on behind the scenes here; I don't know what.

Random wild guess: The Bush crime family syndicate does not want the FBI unlocking their (the Bush's and associates) phones?

Yup. His “assignment” here is to lose the case. Politely, after ‘much effort’ and a variety of maneuvers, but nevertheless…

His job is to lose the case for Apple.

I thought Tim Cook was smarter than that. Ah, well.

This, just in: Apple wins major court battle in its battle against FBI case:

Apple scored a major legal victory in its battle against the FBI on Monday when a federal magistrate judge in New York rejected the U.S. government’s request as part of a drug case to force the company to help it extract data from a locked iPhone.

The ruling from U.S. Magistrate Judge James Orenstein was issued as part of the criminal case against Jun Feng, who pleaded guilty in October to drug charges. It is a significant boost to Apple’s well-publicized campaign to resist the FBI’s similar efforts in the case of the San Bernardino killers.

Details on the very good decision here:

Clearly, this judge understands the problem.

So did Ted Olson fail to accomplish his mission?

So did Ted Olson fail to accomplish his mission?

Not yet, my friend, not yet. The ways of the Establishment are complex and subtle. There are many other maneuvers yet to come.

I'll keep my popcorn handy for this one. The Supreme Court awaits.

P.S. One of the reasons you might hire a specific attorney is to neutralize them against your opponent: Now Olson's firm can't represent the government. "Conflict of interest", etc... heh heh.

Could be a good move on Apple's part. Buy off your best opposition.

Would/could Apple do a thing like that?

I certainly hope so. :p

I was thinking that this was the San Bernadino case. After reading this Slashdot article, I realize it was a different iPhone case: Judge Favors Apple In iPhone Unlocking Case In New York (http://apple.slashdot.org/story/16/03/01/0041235/judge-favors-apple-in-iphone-unlocking-case-in-new-york).

Just what effect this decision will have on the numerous other such iPhone cases (http://www.macrumors.com/2016/02/23/doj-vs-apple-12-court-orders/) outstanding is subject to debate, as can be read in the Washington Post (https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/judge-rules-in-favor-of-apple-in-key-case-involving-a-locked-iphone/2016/02/29/fa76783e-db3d-11e5-925f-1d10062cc82d_story.html) or New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/23/technology/apple-unlock-iphone-san-bernardino.html).

I think it's been determined Olson lied about his wife's supposed calls from American Airlines flight 77 before, according to The Official Story, crashing into the Pentagon. A safe bet something's awry with this case.

Here (http://www.consensus911.org/point-pc-2/) Ted Olson's story is dissected.
